Wow. What a great place. You could easily tell the food was cooked fresh and from scratch. There were 6 of us in our party and we all had something different. All of us loved what we had. I had the halibut fish and chips, really good. Small place but worth any wait. read more

Felt taken care of by the server. Sat outside. There are 3 or 4 outside tables. I got a berry mule- very well balanced. They have clear vegan, gluten free labeling on their menu. A large variety of dishes- appetizers, veggie, seafood, meat, mac and cheese, desserts. The fish tacos were very flavorful with a great sauce. The kung pao cauliflower was creative but needed an acidic balance. Very kid friendly as well. Prices were appropriate for Covid 2022 days. read more

Made a stop here at Nosh last night... mostly because the rain on old town got bad enough I just dipped into the nearest building that had lights on and food on offer. Boy am I glad I did. I fancy myself a bit of a cook, so there are a few dishes I refuse to buy when out of the house. Mac & cheese is among those that I am verrrrry reluctant to spend money on anymore. I was feeling adventurous however and ordered their bacon m&c. I also got one of their house-made corndog. Also had some of their pot roast w/ mashers. When I was first seated I had hoped to get a root beer. The gentleman that was serving our table said they didn't have root beer, per se. But instead offered me a drink my a name I can't recall. He said if I was a root beer, I'd like this offering. Folks... I have to say... everything I put in my mouth here was GOOOOOD. I tried to eat everything on the table, because the flavors were so dang good. I almost made it too! I was down to a handful of fries and about half the pot roast & taters. I definitely should've pumped the brakes because my tummy was pretty unimpressed with me later. Just a word of caution--the portions probably wont leave you hungry. I suppose that means I just need to make a few more stops here and try the other items on my list (I'm looking at you meatloaf and cheese curds). I sure hope the folks here get all kinds of love. They're putting some yummy stuff out into the world for the rest of us. :) read more

Full disclosure, I worked here over the summer, but, I would not say my opinion is biased--I wanted to work here as I knew I could be proud to serve the food here, and, be happy to work in an upbeat atmosphere. Most of the time, when I was asked for recommendations, I had to say it depends on what you're in the mood for, because everything on the menu really is exceptional. A few stand-outs: the ribs with brussel sprouts, the superfood salmon bowl, the sesame ginger halibut, the fried cheese curds... As someone who worked there, I can also say that the owner, Kady Sneddon, sets a warm and kind-hearted tone for communications among the staff, which, I think, ripples out to those who come as guests. If you come for lunch in the warmer months, you may also get to hear live music across the street from our local treasure, Robbie the violinist. Worth a visit! read more

The mango lemonade was refreshing. The almond dressing was a thin almond butter and was surprisingly good. The salmon was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed my meal very much. My husband's wedge salad was good but needed more dressing. The meatloaf was overworked and was just ok. read more

After a bad experience with 2 door down Nosh Eatery took 9 of us in happily. We work in a local business. But Payton was Absolutely Wonderful and welcomed us with open arms! The Food was even better Mac and cheese was so large it will be 2 meals. The Meatloaf was outstanding! The Steak and Frites were cooked perfectly. I had the Fish and chips with Rockfish was so flavorful. The cocktails were even better! Marion berry Mule was a standout! Thank You Nosh Eatery! read more

Food and service top notch, worth the wait. Woman owned business as well. Will definitely be back!

The service wasn't very good. Waiter was nice but forgot my drink then brought me the wrong one before I had to correct it. Neither of the drinks were very good. Forgot about our appetizer and when it finally came (10 minutes after our entrees) it was cold. The food was not good. Paid $21 (most expensive of all the restaurants in the area) for halibut fish and chips. The fish was dry and the breading had ZERO seasoning. The slaw also had literally no seasoning in it. It was really weird, like they had never heard of a salt shaker or something. The best part of the meal was the dipping sauce. The fries were great too. read more

Always great & fresh food with lovely service! Absolutely wonderful every single time.

Omg this place was great. The staff was the friendly staff I've ever been around. Always attentive. Suggest some great things to try. We had ordered several items. Garlic fries, best we've ever had. Flat bread with short ribs, yum! Fish n chips, if you are getting the garlic fries, see if you can just get those cuz it's a nice size order. Chicken tenders, super crunchy. The table was a little sticky but didn't really care. This place was a great find. Thank you! read more

Great location in downtown Florence. The waiter gave me a nice recommendation on getting the pork ribs that came with Brussels sprouts.... They were great. Roasted Mac and cheese was decent. Sadly, he didn't steer us away from ordering the halibut, so let me do you a favor and say it was very disappointing... almost to the point of knocking down 2 stars. For one of the most expensive things on the menu, they should do much better. Aside from being a pretty small portion, the halibut was over cooked and came on a bed of dried out rice. The dish is in desperate need of moisture; a sauce or something to tie it together. Flavor was okay, not great... on that dish alone I'd give 3 stars, maybe even 2 since I feel it's over priced for the quality. If you stick to a recommendation from the waiter, you could probably get a great meal here. read more

We picked this place as we walked by on the street. The menu is small bites and beautiful snacks. Apparently the Mac and cheese is a full meal if you're interested. read more

Mediocre food and bad service. We waited 50 minutes for a side salad. Wings that were advertised as "fried to crispy perfection" arrived rubbery and underdone. Do yourself a favor and go to the Waterfront Depot or the Bay Street Grill read more

Omg I've been reading about this place since before covid and now that we're vaccinated we finally came in. And omg the god, the cocktails, the service, all amazing. We had such a nice experience. We ordered the potato chips and goddess dressing and cheese plate appetizer along with some cocktails to start and it was all so delicious. I'm obsessed with the goddess dressing! Then we had the pork chili verde tacos and the Mac n cheese with pesto and roasted vegetables. Both meals were amazing. Our server was wonderful and kind, chill and upbeat. It was such a great experience and we absolutely plan to eat here again soon and order one of their family meals to go!! Highly recommend read more

Inconsistent food quality. The steamed clam is way more salty, same as Brussels sprout. The grilled "spawn" is just shrimp, not spawn. read more

I ordered the Thai soup with chicken. I think they're unfamiliar with Thai cuisine which is flavorful. This was flavorless and almost chickenless. I kept adding hot sauce and salt to add flavor but it was in vain. Coconut milk does not Thai cuisine make. My husband had the Mac and cheese. It was edible not memorable. They might have some great items but I couldn't swear to it. read more

Adorable little spot and the pot roast was to die for. Excellent wine list too! I took some goat cheese cheesecake to go because I was too full to eat it there: zero regrets. read more

Good food, friendly staff but a looong wait. Even the appetizers weren't ready after 40 minutes of waiting. Seems like the place is understaffed. Great if you have lots of time on your hands, if time is limited, probably a good idea to skip the place. read more

A small place tucked away amongst other restaurants, but don't walk past! This place is not to be missed. I had a delicious lunch of their special chili salmon on coconut rice topped with roasted Brussels sprouts. And a flower! The presentation was inviting and the food was yummy with the perfect balance of different flavors. And the price was reasonable. Service was great, too. read more

My partner and I went for dinner on 4/22/2023 (Saturday) at 6 pm; the restaurant is cute, cozy, and...it was very understaffed. We sat at the bar and our server was overworked, but kind and attentive. I asked if the kung pao calamari was good, and she recommended it. It arrived and was truly bad (in the words of my usually-understated husband, 'it was gross'): rubbery, greasy, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. I tried to eat a couple bites, but instantly began to get indigestion. I asked my husband to eat it, since he has a cast-iron stomach, but he could not tolerate it either. So we ate his dish (halibut, which was good but not worth $27). As we were asking to pay out, our server noticed my plate was still full, and offered to take it off our bill, for which I was thankful. But. The manager then made our server return and say No--she had to charge us for half the dish. Then at the bottom of the bill, we saw a notice: they charge an extra dollar if you pay by credit or debit--which basically means, 'cash or we take an extra dollar'. (Is this a gas station?) Summary: A good server cannot make up for a bad manager, bad food, inadequate staffing, refusal to make it right when the food is inedible, and overcharging/gouging. We won't be back. read more

Service - very good Donuts were warm and fresh and so yummy. Batter fried shrimp - huge and fresh tasting, the dipping sauce was divine. Meatloaf sliders - no where on the menu does it say the sliders are made with all pork! they fell apart and had trouble picking it up with my fork as it crumbled in little bits. Tasted ok . Roasted Veggies on sourdough - the bread was so hard on the edges we were unable to cut it or chew it so I scraped the veggies off and ate them - veggies consisted of hard crunchy carrots, red onion, brussel sprouts and not sure what else, was ok, remalade was bland. We will definitely never go back. read more

Meh is my assessment. The service is not professional , food comes out inconsistently, and all the on tap beer is flat. I would really expect more for the prices they charge. It seems like the place is just an after thought, not a warm or inviting atmosphere. read more

I've ate here multiple times before, never once has it taken this long to get my food to my friends and I. 1 hour is the time it took for them to get our food out to us, people who came in after us, even got there food before my friends and I. Food was great don't get me wrong. But they made sure everyone else was good and ready etc but my friends and I. read more

Highly recommend this place. Shrimp cocktail and sauce? Best sauce ever. Bbq beef taco? Great and unique. Hummus platter? Very nice. Chicken vegetable soup? Might be best I've ever had. Sourdough bread? Remarkable. Crusty and soft. Potato chips? Real good. Spotted lemonae straw? Best I ever saw. A bit cramped on sidewalk. But, super fun place. read more

Very impressed with Nosh Eatery! Ordered the Thai soup with shrimp and sourdough bread with a roasted garlic bulb! The soup was amazing and the shrimp were huge! Roasted garlic with the sourdough was a perfect addition to the soup. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Staff was very friendly! The menu is refreshing with some fun choices. Of course, also plenty of alcohol to choose from , I had an IPA. Definitely plan on coming back and sampling the rest of the menu. In reference to someone else's review , there are no plates in the restrooms , and they were very clean! A must stop if you are visiting Florence oregon My third visit and even more impressed! Lobster roll was full of lobster! Prawn green salad with delicious homemade goddess dressing was great. The Brussel sprouts , superb! Homemade chips were absolutely the best! I would vote this restaurant the BEST in Florence. read more

I would easily give this zero stars if I had the option! Just had the worst experience ever. I do feel bad for the employees because they are completely understaffed and working very hard but it's not good enough because it is a hot mess in there. We waited for over an hour and never got our food and we had a five-year-old with us and his food was nothing but a piece of avocado toast. On top of it they ran out of what I ordered and they forgot to enter the change of order. So my food came out late. Everybody's food came out after about an hour and a half and I begged you over and over to get our food out. On top of it they forgot to orders of our brussels sprouts. So horrible wait time no waitress ever talk to us we had to keep asking for them and the food was actually really gross. I would never go back more when I ever tell anybody to even give it a chance. And I feel bad saying that because I love to support local restaurants but this one just doesn't have it together yet. Again waitress working her butt off Buser had no idea what she was doing and look like she was about to cry. Overall just a terrible experience. OHHHH and they only discounted 20%! Wow read more
