I always stop by after my overnight shift; already open by 8am, few customers in line but wait is short, if any wait. I get an oil change and the owner? Recommends other things that need my attention. Nice staff would definitely recommend read more

Been going here for years. I highly recommend for good service and quality vehicle maintenance .

Enjoyed the service work done by the family operated center. It's nice to see a clean environment for the type of work that they do. Pleasant people to work with. The pricing is rather higher than expected and so check out the pricing before visiting. I believe that the pricing is posted here. Please hit the thumb up below and swipe through my reviews. Friendly people and knowledgeable staff. Been coming for years and always better than other oil change place I've used in the past. Sort waits time and fast service. read more

They are always nice. Service is fantastic. I feel like they dont try to up charge. He always shows me my air filter to show me the condition. Then lets me know when it should be replaced. He doesn't try to talk me into replacing every time like the chains do. I love supporting small businesses in our community. read more

Loyal customer for years. Stopped there today and was asked to come back in 25 minutes by the owner so the guys could have lunch. Cool. Totally get that. Did so and then upon my return, was met rudely by one of the workers and told to come back again in 25 minutes. When I told him that the owner already said this to me and the time had past, this he shrugged his shoulder and said, "so? Just come back." Forget it. Could have just let me pull the car in and I would have waited. I know it's a hot and humid day, but what happened to customer service?!? Will not be returning here and am jiffy lube now. read more

I take both of our cars here. The staff is always pleasant, courteous and professional. The prices are reasonable. I feel that they are always looking out for the customer and never steered me wrong. read more

SCAMMERS! I had brought my car here before for oil change and tire rotation. After a couple of hours of driving I started hearing noise like something's loose. So I decided to bring my car back but the next day because they were already close the time that I was able to bring my car there. So I talked to their boss (he's the one handing you the receipt) and told him what was happening. He drove my car around the block to find out what was going on. He told me that it was the rotor and it needs to be replace. I asked how much and he said around $700. Good thing I have a friend who's also a mechanic. So I called him that same day. I brought my car to him and he only charged me $20. He said that it wasn't the rotor that was loose. It was the brake pads. My experience from this shop was horrible. That was the last time I took my car there. I decided to do some studying so I could just service my own car. read more

I have been going there for years! I am now in Michigan and when I'm in town I STILL go there. I have friends and family going there as well. The two brothers that run it are hard working and honest people...they don't push products and from what I have been able to see, they help everyone, as much as possible. read more

Northwest Lube - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Norridge, Illinois

Always done in ten minutes. No funny business. Full service oil change for 43.99. My time and $ appreciates it! I definitely recommend this gem! read more

STAY AWAY! My wife went there to get her rear brakes done. As soon as they replaced the brake pads the van started grinding. It never grinded before. We took the van back to them to tell them about the problem, they claimed it was because we also needed to replace the front brakes. I went to the dealer to get a 2nd opinion, the dealer said they used very cheap ceramic pads. The pads were eating up the rotors and now we have to replace the rotors as well. The dealer also showed me that they never cut the rotors when they replaced the brake pads. This is Brake Job 101. At the end, we had to get the brand new brake pads replaced again and we had to replace the rotors because the cheap pads ate up the rotors. What should've been a $300 job cost us $800 at the end! On top of that they wanted us to have them replace the front pads which were perfectly fine. The experience was a nightmare and they don't care about your safety whatsoever just the $$$ they can get from you read more

Short: Very fast, professional, and clean. Price seems on par with most oil change places. And they clean your car as well, vacuumed the inside and washed the windows! If you're in the Norridge/Harwood Heights area and need an oil change, highly recommended! Long: The reasoning behind the 5 stars. 1. Went here on a Saturday morning and all the bays were full but I was next in line. I watched them work for a little bit out of boredom and curiosity. Every single person in the garage was focused and worked efficiently. No horseplay or meandering. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, with the bulk of that due to the car before me, mine barely took 10 minutes. 2. They weren't pushy or shady. So many places trying to get you to buy the higher priced oil or recommending the air filter change to every single person. He walked over to the owner of the car in front of me and actually said he didn't need to change it right now. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever heard someone at an oil change place say that, to me or another customer. 3. Clean place and decent magazines. The lobby was a little small, with only 5 chairs, but it was very clean and they had coffee and magazines (current Rolling Stone). Clean as in, I wouldn't have been afraid to have some of the coffee if I had been thirsty. The garage was spotless too, clean floors, no trash laying around. read more

Drive right in. Greeted with a smile. Hot coffee in the pot with a brand new package of cookies for the taking.... And 3 techs on the car within a minute. Then, as I start to look around and notice how clean everything is, I realize they are vacuuming the floors of all the crap my kids drop, spill and crush. Nice touch. I do plan on returning. read more

Ripped clips off my car didnt replace them then when I called to tell them my car was having issues they didnt bother to ask when i came in or anything all they said was "the wind could of blown them off" and "what would you like us to do about it" then suggested going to somewhere else... not sure if this is considered acceptable but it's sad that I wanted to help local business and they managed to mess up my car which I just bought a month ago read more

Great, and fast service ! They always go above and beyond. I've been going here for years and the service is consistently great.

$116 for an oil and filter change! GTFOH! First time customer, last time customer! This place is a scam. The prices quoted on their menu is not what you're getting charged. Buyer beware. read more

BS! 110.00 for an oil change???? That is what happens when you are 24 and a girl I guess. Our daughter called home we said NO WAY, we sent her to Jiffy Lube in Park Ridge, she called and said 10X nicer and it was 69.00! Hate companies that take advantage of young girls! Shame on you! read more

This is the only place I'll go for my oil changes now. They are quick and efficient, reasonably priced and I've always gotten great service. I've been coming here for years. Surprisingly it is because of my mother. She has been going to NE Lube for many years. Service is unbeatable!! They do not push product on you like other shops do. Quick oil change. Owners are hands-on which is a plus. And they fixed my busted wiper fluid line for free!

These guys are great! Quickest oil change too. There were 3 guys working on my car at once; they changed oil, antifreeze, brake lights...they even vacuumed my carpet and cleaned all my windows! Great service quick clean honest!! I went there for oil change my car was Ready in less than 10 min. Best oil change place I been to so far!! read more

To be honest, when you first come here, these guys seem like trusting and honest men. After a few times, you realize they're not and just want your money. They try to find any little thing to charge you for and try suckering you into buying it. They said they could fix a pipe at the bottom of my car that was leaking no problem, $200. A few days later, same problem was occurring and I took it to a different mechanic. The mechanic took me under the car and showed me the lousy and terrible work these guys did. He fixed their mess up for $40 and told me to never go back to that place. My friends have had similar experiences at this place as well. Be careful when going here. read more

got an oil change this past weekend. because of the great weather as of late, it seemed everyone was in the mood for an oil change? i went to about three shops prior to northwest and im glad i did. i searched on my phone for nearby oil change shops and this came up. came in, no line, and the waiting area is pretty cool with no walls in between the shop so you actually get to see firsthand what they are doing. overall, they were very professional and it made me feel comfortable to see what was being done on my car. not too mention, they are way cheaper than your local jiffy lubes. im coming back for sure. read more

It was minus two degrees outside and my low air light came on. I'm on a fixed income and needed a little help. As I didn't have any cash. I asked if they could put air in my tires and asked if they could help me out as the five dollars they changed me would put my account in the negative. They changed me anyway. It took them no longer then 90 seconds. Thanks for nothing! At least I know what kind of business they are. I will never use them again, ever! Who knows what that would charge if I actually needed some real work done. Never again! read more

It took only 5 minutes to change engine oil at the time. I liked it, but I asked them if they changed the oil filter or not and they said they changed it. So, I trusted in their word and just in case I checked it out next day. I found it out that they put the wrong type of oil filter, very cheap one and tiny oil filter, not for the suv 6 cylinder. So, I have had to put the right one myself. Not professional for $45 oil change job.I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I just came back from an oil change and I was in and out in 12 minutes which included, vacuuming my car, washing my windows, checking tires and performing an oil change. I was low on antifreeze so topped it off and the whole visit cost me $46.00. This is well worth it and they are extremely professional. I always get nervous about putting my car in the right tracks and they said don't worry, we will do it for you. This is my second time going to this place. I have to tell you it will be my permanent place for an oil change. read more

My son took his new 2017 Honda in to Northwest Lube for a oil change on October 27th, 2017. A few days later he notice that something was dragging on the bottom of his engine and that he could not drive his car. We had his car towed to the Honda dealership in Elmhurst where he bought the car thinking it was a manufacture defect and it would be covered by the warranty. As it turned out the tech who preformed the oil change at Northwest Lube didn't put the heat plate back together the right way thus causing the damage to his car. We had the dealership fix the problem at a cost of $199.00, We went back to Northwest Lube and spoke with the manager about a reimbursement for $199.00 and was told he had to talk with his boss and someone would call him. Later that day he received a call from Northwest Lube and was told there was nothing they could do for him because he didn't bring the car to them to be fixed. Had we been aware it was there fault in the first place we would have done that. But the good news is that hey offered him a free oil change. It used to be that a reputable business would stand by there work, In this case Northwest lube has decided not to. I just thought every body should know what kind of business Northwest Lube really is. read more
