If you need the oil change done quickly at a fair price, would come here. I am indifferent about the work that they do since it's just the oil and filter. If you go to a big box oil change place, they check on other things that you may not have thought of. The larger oil change place check for air tire pressure, engine air filter, interior car filter, automatic transmission fluid , brake fluid and more. If you don't know how to check those things, it is nice to have those checked out of you don't change your oil and filter often enough. Good to have reminders on these other car fluid checks on a regular basis. You can look at the check intervals on your car owners manual or looking online for those maintenance periods. I would visit them again if I need a quick change and no other maintenance checks are needed. I walked in for an oil change around 11:30am on a Tuesday, with no appointment or call ahead. They were able to take me quickly and I was out within 30 or so minutes. The older gentleman that helped me was very kind. I didn't feel like they pushed me on any upsells, etc. They also have a loyalty program that gets you discounted oil changes. I have come here many times over the decades. I was in for the first time since COVID. The gentleman who was checking my tire pressure after an oil change seemed to be finger tipping the valves when putting the caps back on. I thought that's odd but ignored it due to him being older and possibly having arthritis. I left and got about 2 miles away by the DMV on Elston Ave and realized my right rear tire was flat. Now I thought odd, just had all of them filled up at lightening lube after the oil change as a complimentary service. Luckily my local Mechanic at High Tech was open so I drove a block back and had him check the flat tire for a nail or screw, he discovered that the valve core on the valve stem was completely loose. I asked him to check the other 3 just in case. Same issue. The mechanic told me that was a very dangerous situation. What urks me the most is normally I would of driven up the road and got on the highway. This could of lead to a serious accident and possible fatalities, either mine or other drivers on the road had I experienced 4 flat tires at highway speeds. I should give them 1 star, but respectful from years of service gave them 2 stars. Unfortunate, because I will never go there again and now active at warding off others from their shaddy business. They are sweet workers, and I'm a younger girl who normally comes alone and who doesn't know anything about cars. They never try to push me to buy something I don't need, and they definitely aren't scammers like some people in this line of work are. They put a sticker on your window telling you how many miles you should have when you come back for another oil change, and the sticker also tells you a date when you should be back around. I have been coming here for many years to have my oil changed. I recently heard something dragging or rubbing and drove in to see if they could lift it to check, at first he was nice about it, but then when I walked towards my car to look myself he scolded me. Scolded me in a way my father or no man has never even done. I get it- it's dangerous back there, but there are nicer ways to say it. Then after he scolded me, he offered to have me come look. Made 0 sense. I will not be retuning because I have too much self respect to be put down by some man who doesn't even know me. He was not the nice man with curly-ish hair and glasses. Sent my sister here with her VW Jetta since its local. I bought the synthetic oil and filter for her but did not have time to get it done before her drive back to Florida. My sister has Florida plates on her car and went with my mom to ask for an oil change and quoted her $115 even though they were providing supplies.
