Just moved into the neighborhood and found a puddle of oil under my wife's Mini Cooper. Took it to UNO Auto Service, as it is close by. Vito took it up the lift immediately and found a loose oil plug. Cleaned it up, topped it off and didn't charge me! The last mechanic will get ripped for this. Thank you Vito. Getting my business and telling my neighbors. read more

First time customer and I can't speak better of the costumer service I received, I went with my gut feeling and I was more than impressed with the attitude and work of this small time shop.honest and forth coming with all the work done.I'm a review and seek before I speak or pay for someone to work on my car.no bs just facts and had me updated on the work being done without the guess work. Hard to find reliable shops and this one is a 10, even if I have to wait I'm in great hands. Thank you for your service read more

First visit to 1 Auto Service, and my experience was amazing. Friendly and honest service. Will definitely visit them again.

I decided to take my Honda Pilot to this shop after getting three other estimates because Vito got back to me quickly and offered the best price including labor. My vehicle needed MAJOR repairs. I wasn't thrilled about spending as much as I had to but the car needed it and it was well worth it. Vito was extremely honest and provided in depth details to EVERYTHING that needed to be done. Part by part and the labor fees. When I picked up the car Vito said "don't expect it to run like you just bought it." He expressed a little concern because he couldn't figure out a small rattle noise but assured me if it got worse or if anything else went wrong I could just bring it back. On the commute home I thought to myself "this guy totally lied to me! The car IS running like NEW!" Its been 2 months and my car is still running like new! I'm so relieved and happy that I found this shop! As long as Vito is in business, he and his colleagues will continue to be my mechanics and I STRONGLY recommend them to family and friends. read more

Awesome service- Vito saved me twice now in a pinch! Car is running great, and issues I had been dealing with for some time have been resolved. My mother introduced me to this place, and it's great to know we are not being taken advantage of, but instead the exact opposite! Thank you for everything!!! read more

I love when I find an establishment that has a family and community feel to it. This auto service place has helped me many of times with my automotive care needs. They are very welcoming especially Vito who mans the front desk. They are also reasonable and don't try to up charge you, especially me being a woman. Only been in this area for 2 years and I've only used this establishment, I love it! read more

I put an ad on my local next door for an honest mechanic in the area, and vito the owner personally reached out to me he had me bring my car in diagnose the problem had the car up and running within 24 hours and he spends time with his customers and treats your car like it's his own I would highly recommend this place. read more

I had a brake line burst on me over the weekend. I went to my regular mechanic that I've been going to for a few years but is kind of a hassle since we've moved. When I got there he said that he couldn't get to it for a few days. I started looking at other places closer to my house but no one was able to service my truck. I finally found Uno. Not only were they available to fix my car in one day but my brakes work better than they ever have before. Vito was extremely nice and called me with a quote on price within an hour. I few hours later my truck was done and for less than what he quoted me over the phone. What a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Uno to anyone for quick, quality and honest work. read more

I was referred to Uno Auto and questioned why I never used them in the 20 yrs that i lived in the neighborhood. Vito went above and beyond my expectations. I was told they were honest and good people but that was an understatement! They were amazing. Explained everything that needed and or should be done but also gave me honesty on if I wanted to wait i could, instead of taking my money and doing it anyways. They sent me pictures with the parts before they were removed and then new parts. I couldn't ask for better service. My Jeep rides like brand new. Will definitely return to Uno and refer anyone i know who needs work! Thank you again Vito read more

I've been going to Uno for many years for all our vehicle work, and from day one they have always been reliable, honest, and fair with pricing. I just had another vehicle repair done and by chance the old owner ( retired) was there and it was nice catching up with him. They took care of my wife's car and it's running great. It was a light| code issue, which I feel that you could be taken advantage of without knowing the codes etc.... Not here, they clearly go over what they find, explain the most cost effective way to approach the repair. Love these guys!! read more

Uno Auto is a great local, reliable and honest mechanic. They are very detail oriented and perform the job correctly, definitely no cutting corners here. I trust them with both of my cars and would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. Most recently I needed a brake job and Vito was very accommodating to my schedule and remained in contact throughout the process. He's upfront and honest about the prices and the work that needs to be done. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and the outstanding customer service I received. I will definitely be returning for all of my car needs. read more

The owner Vito is awesome! Nice facility! Very convenient and quick but QUALITY service! Would recommend

This place is the best auto service in Chicago. I was having bad brake problems and they not only fixed them for the most reasonable price but they also got me out of there with great timing. They really care about their customers and treat them with honesty and respect. They will tell you everything that's wrong with your car and not try to scam you out of fixing something just for money. They make sure to have great relationships with all their customers. And as a woman i feel comfortable bringing my car here and knowing they won't try to overcharge me or lie to me. I will be recommending this place to everybody I know. read more

Called day of to get A/C looked at. Dropped car off and 1-2 hours later received call back saying I needed a new compressor which is what i thought. Offered to install a new compressor same day (even as shop was closing). Good pricing and great service. read more

This place is horrible....They ripe the elderly off...My car was in the shop for 6 weeks for a new motor, and they finally put one in and it was still the same. I asked them multiple times to fix it and they Magically found a motor in a week. My car's motor was messed up in less than a year. They are frauds!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARE HERE. My grandmother took her car here and when she got it back it was crashed and claimed they did not know who did it and they did not try to investigate it at all. I am reporting them to the better business bureau and am seeking legal action to shut this place down. AVOID at all costs. read more

I have been coming here for a couple years and I always get great service all the time and I love that they don't try to add on anything unnecessary it's great read more

The people here were very friendly, helpful, patient and exceedingly accommodating. They were more than fair in the pricing of services rendered and really went above and beyond to accommodate all of my needs which really didn't result in much profit for them, as I decided In the end to forego the necessary repairs (replace transmission in a leased car) and just return the car to the leasing company. I was very impressed with their customer service and will definitely return in the future when I need services for my next vehicle. read more

Being a young girl and honestly not knowing a thing about cars is scary. Especially when something goes wrong with your car and you have NO idea if someone is being honest with you about the severity of the issue. As soon as I walked into the shop Vito the owner said they would take care of me and they did. Both Vito and Rogelio were able to actually explain to me what was wrong with my car and what caused it to happen. I dropped off my car and let them work their magic. Vito checked in with me to let me know my car was ready and even let me know they were able to save me even MORE money. :) these guys are the best!! If you are looking for reliable and HONEST mechanics this is the place to go!! Thanks guys :D read more

I took my car in for servicing and like that they didn't try to sell me additional services that I didn't need. I felt like they were fair and I was very happy with the quality of repair. I like to support small business that are family owned and that's what this place is! read more

Stay away from those clowns. I was told $135 to replace a seal, 2 hours later I'm told that they can't do it as there is no seal to replace. Still I was charged $65 for their lock of knowledge. If they have no idea what parts are on cars, how can they fix them? read more
