He was also very nice and patient with me as I asked all of my questions. He also was able to give me quotes on each job and found them to be more affordable than other places in the area. I decided to get my brake pads and rotors changed and everything was taken care of that day. Mario even took time to re-lift my car and show me the work done when I asked to see the new parts. The place is also very clean and well organized - which is impressive for a car shop. I'm thankful that I finally found a mechanic I can trust and highly recommend.

I hope others who are in need of similar services find this post and see Mario. You are in good hands! Pictures of work to follow.

This place was great! You drive in through the back, they seat you down in a clean and comfortable lounge area (with awesome wooden swings outside during nice weather). The oil change was quick, the staff was kind and respectful, they gave me an option of many different types of oil with NO pushiness, and you leave with coupons and a smile. Honestly, I'll drive out of my way to change my oil here. Still WAY cheaper than the dealer and WAY better!

I've had a few minor repairs and one major repair on my car. Paul has always been MUCH more…read morereasonable in price than other local businesses with quality work, and usually gets me in that day or the next day! PAUL IS A MECHANIC AND OWNER I TRUST! After the Firestone on Harlem in Bridgeview told me my tire was low on air and I needed a new tire stem which would cost me over $100, Paul checked the tire pressure and said the tire was at 33 Lbs (normal for my car!)! I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO THE FIRESTONE IN BRIDGEVIEW because their HQs didn't do anything about my complaint of SCAMMING customers!

Paul is the shadiest auto shop operator I have ever encountered. Had his "mechanic" perform a…read more$907.00 front brake job. Then, as soon as I drove off the shop lot, the tires were seizing, and brake light alarms lit up my dashboard. When I went in to complain, once to his "mechanic" and subsequently directly with him, I was told it had nothing to do with the brakes. Paul went as far as to say that it was the rear brakes that were worked on. An obvious attempt to deflect from the shoddy work that was performed. Only after I informed him that I planned on pursuing this through my credit card provider did he instantly change his demeanor from rude and dismissive to a smarmy, huckster nice routine. He acknowledged that the right brake caliper was too tight. That he experienced the same issues I was experiencing when he took the vehicle for a test drive. Yet, charged me full price for the work done, despite his road test! Never even bothered to mention that the car was no longer drivable after the work performed on the car was completed. At the time he called me to let me know the car was ready to be picked up, he firmly stating the car was ready to drive. The brakes were "working fine." Never brought up any issues at the time of charging me for a very expensive brake job. Upon hearing that I would be pursuing this through my credit card company, he flipped to his smarmy routine and told me to bring it in. That he would work to loosen the brake caliper. So, he had me once more waste my time and brought the car in for yet another time. He then flatly told me that he replaced the right caliper with nothing changing (no evidence he changed anything, I marked both calipers before taking the car back into the shop.) This time telling me that nothing could be done to solve the problem. That I shouldn't put any more money into the vehicle. THIS COMING AFTER, 1) he charged me for the brake job, 2) lied about which brakes were worked on, 3) told me he could loosen the calipers, which would solve the issue, 4) with his original price quote, stated that the car would be operational once job was complete. A total FRAUDSTER! Stay away! No guarantee of work done. As a matter of fact, I paid over $900. to have the vehicle turned fully inoperable. An unsavory mix of arrogance, incompetence, and downright deception. THERE IS A REASON THAT WHILE OTHER SHOPS IN THE AREA HAVE THEIR LOTS FULL OF CARS TO WORK ON, THIS LOT IS LARGELY BARREN. TRUST ME, THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE. GO TO ONE OF THOSE SHOPS INSTEAD!

I had forgotten about this oil change place since I moved further away. They were my regular stop…read morefor 4 years. I still go there occasionally, but not for every oil change anymore. I've never had a problem there. I was ALWAYS leery about quick oil change places, generally speaking. I'd heard many horror stories. Besides, I used to work in an automotive-related field, so I always had somebody to perform this routine maintenance. But these guys are trustworthy in my experience, and always pleasant. They did not try to annoyingly up-sell me an air filter, PCV valve, or trans service EVERY time I was there. Just when it was truly necessary. They mail a reminder card at the 3 month mark, and they used to be a coupon as well. They are also related to the car wash next door, and give a car wash coupon with service. It can be tricky to get out of there...especially when they're busy. You have to merge into the car wash line out back and exit via the alley. But it's never really a problem. I imagine the lines out front can get tricky during peak car wash and oil change times. I always tried to go M-F during the day, so I'm not sure how much of a hassle it is on weekends and such. But I highly recommend them based on my many experiences there.
