I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Northwest Granite has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Communication was awful at every level. Any time I raised concerns with the project managers, they were quick to blame me for delays and became defensive and aggressive instead of listening. At no point did anyone take ownership of the issues I was experiencing--I felt constantly questioned, doubted, and talked down to. The demolition crew that removed my old countertops was careless and unprofessional. They never put down any protection on my brand-new floors, and while breaking apart the old stone they crushed pieces of countertop into the flooring, damaging several areas. They also punched a hole in a wall I had just repaired and said nothing--no acknowledgment, no apology, just left it for me to find later. On top of that, they left sharp broken pieces of stone inside the cabinets, on the floors, in adjoining rooms, and even in the driveway. It felt like a rushed job with zero regard for housekeeping, safety, or respect for my home. When it came time to measure for the new countertop, they incorrectly measured the area next to the refrigerator. The new top was cut too wide and is now pushing the cabinet panel out, leaving about a 1/4" gap. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to blame me--saying it was already like that or that the cabinet panel was warped--and spoke to me as if I couldn't see the obvious issue. I waited weeks to hear what the next steps would be, but no one followed up. I always had to call or show up in person to get any kind of response from project managers or sales. The finished product is also poor quality. The seam is bad enough that I can catch a fingernail on it, and the edge looks rough and under-polished. Overall, this feels like a "fast and cheap" operation geared toward large apartment jobs or quick flips--not homeowners who care about quality and detail. If you value craftsmanship, clear communication, and simply getting what you paid for without having to fight for it, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I regret giving them my business, and by the end I was just willing to accept whatever got me out of dealing with them any longer. I would not recommend Northwest Granite to anyone. read more

This has been a horrible experience! My wife shopped Spokane for the best price on a specific quartz countertop for our remodel that is very popular and sold all over Spokane, definitely not unique. NW Granite had the best price the quartz so she paid them to template, cut and install the quartz countertops for us. I knew it was going to be a bad day when the installers showed up 3 hours late without a call or text. The first piece the installers bring in was for the corner sink. As soon as the installer slid the first piece into place he says "oh no, we have a problem" the sink hole was too far from the front of the cabinet. He said he could cut the back of the cabinet out! We both laughed because the hole was obviously cut wrong, no big deal, they have to recut the quartz. The installer was super nice and took the piece that was cut wrong back to the truck and finished doing the rest of the install. Everything else was great! I was super happy with their job and assumed it would be a few days to get the corner piece cut correctly..... oh heavens no! That night my wife tried reaching out by email to her representative Dimitri but he was "sick" so he turned the account over to Phil. Phil's solution to the problem is for my wife to call our cabinet maker, have him come back out to the house and hack the back of the cabinet out so the sink will fit the bad hole that NW cut wrong. I decided to go see Phil at the store to try and understand his solution.... that was a less than pleasant experience. First Phil tells me the cabinet maker made the cabinet too small. I informed he that the cabinet maker has been making the same high quality cabinets for over a decade and knows what he's doing as his cabinets are high end, hand made cabinets. Then Phil says the sink was too big.... That excuse didn't hold water because the sink fits perfectly in the cabinet, ya just gotta cut the top correctly. Then Phil says my wife, who knows nothing about quartz installation had the idea to move the sink away from the countertop edge making it difficult for her to reach into the back of sink, absolutely ludicrous and makes no sense. So now I have the job of finding another countertop company in Spokane that knows how to template, cut and install quartz and take these clowns from NW Granite to small claims court. It's unbelievable that a company can come up with all kinds of excuses for a problem they have created through ineptitude. Spokane has many companies that install countertops, NW Granite is the bottom of the barrel. read more

Customer service is horrible. Mgmt is non responsive and isn't interested in resolving any issues. A lien letter was sent while I was waiting for mgmt to call me back. Kitchen counter top was NOT the one we picked out (they advised it was not marked) and will this one "Suffice"... Bathroom cabinet was too big to bring in and had to be disassembled in my garage to get it put in--and somehow that was my fault for not knowing the cabinet was too big... If you are considering Northwest Granite to install countertops please read (very carefully) the "What to expect when you purchase new countertops" and "Terms and conditions" documents before you sign. There seemed to be an oversight at every step of the installation. The original invoice when the 75% down payment was made and terms and conditions were signed stated that they were going to install 3cm of the material. They installed 2cm. They forgot to polish and clean the underneath surface of the overhang of island and yes it is very visible when you walk up the stairs. The holes for the switches on the backsplash were too small, and one side of backsplash was too small. There is a 1/4 of an inch chip on the corner of the backsplash and the installer covered it with silicone. Vlad and the representative at the store offered to send their installers back to our home to remove and reinstall the backs splash and countertop with writing. This will cause unavoidable damage to the existing island structure and framework (including electrical, cabinetry and plumbing). NorthWest Granite's terms and conditions states that the purchaser (us) is responsible for any repairs or replacement of walls/trim or ceilings. After observing their installation work, I truly did not have any TRUST that they would do a good job repairing their mistakes. Therefore I kindly paid the remaining 25% of the balance as I truly believe that the removal and reinstallation of the countertops will end up costing me more. The company needs to improve their sales and installation process. Hopefully this review will help others avoid a similar experience. read more

I had a great experience with Northwest Granite! We had them install the countertops for our kitchen remodel, including a huge island. It's absolutely beautiful! The installers were quick and efficient and respectful. They even went above and beyond and helped us get our car out of the icy snow when it was stuck on the street in front of our driveway. We got a small chip in the island about a week after installation, and they came out for free and filled it! I wish we had called them directly instead of hiring them through Lowe's, I think we could have saved some money. But I'm just happy happy to have it done and have it done well! read more

They have the best customer service Sofi ,came out on site multiple times to measure discuss and ensure we got what we wanted. My wife and I purchased cabinets from another local Spokane company and were forced to return them because of the poor construction. As anyone who has built a house can imagine, this left us in a terrible bind. We had contractors lined up for other work that were now having to be postponed and our move-in date was at serious risk. Fortunately, NW Granite happily rescued us and had cabinets constructed and delivered within a week. What a tremendous relief. All the guys down there are wonderfully helpful and skilled at what they do. We had new counter tops installed in our kitchen. The demo and installation work was fine, in spite of a few issues. The reason we gave this only 3 stars was because of the quality of their customer service. The sales person is our first contact and becomes in effect the customer service representative for the company. Unfortunately that was a less than satisfactory experience for us. While the initial service was good, what followed was very poor. The response of the salesperson was improper, rude at times, and we even got hung up twice. While the matters of concern were adequately resolved, with the interference of the Sales Manager, we were left with a very bad taste ultimately with the customer treatment we got. I am super disappointed with my experience with northwest granite. I had high hopes with all the positive reviews I read prior to going with them, I think it's only fair to share my experience. We got our kitchen cabinets and counters from them. I'll start with positives- they are professional and I was able to get my job done in a reasonable time. No issues with with counters. The cabinets on the other hand did NOT go smoothly. First, they put the measurements in wrong and we had a 5-INCH GAP. I understand mistakes are made, but there was no taking accountability. They just suggested I fill it with some wood spacers. They did replace the a single lower drawer to make up three inches but the upper cabinet they refused to exchange, So it looks terribly mismatched. Next, a cabinet arrived damaged, which was never replaced. Also, when the guys dropped off the cabinets on our brand new wood flooring, it left a huge scratch. I told the salesperson about all of our issues, and it took about 4 different phone calls and weeks later to get someone to come to "fix" the damage. The scratch on the floor they just applied a brown pen that turned it from light scratch to dark scratch. We are now going to have to pay to replace a portion of the floor to fix it. There is poor communication between departments and It felt like we were pushed aside I had to keep asking to have our issues to be barely addressed. They just want our money and to move on.
