I bought my van during Covid so I could get out in the world and have slowly been restoring it with the help of Russ and Chris. And wow, does she look and run great. Althea (that's her name) used to be pretty "high maintenance" and was in and out of the shop often in the early days until they figured out what and how much was needed to get in tip top shape. And they did! The only sad thing about that is she is not there as much so I don't get to visit my guys as often! I was joking with the front desk , said the shop was more like a car spa than your standard auto repair . ;-) I should mention , the shop we've used for 13 years told us this repair "wasn't in their wheelhouse" and referred us . They went over it meticulously , caught a few extra problems we weren't aware of , at least one that would've likely had us on the side of the road with hazards on . Owning an '02 passat and an '00 jetta with 150k miles+ on each, I've taken them in for a fair amount of maintenance over the years. Finding a shop that will fix your car is not a problem. Finding one that will repair your car at a competitive price, continually update you on the repair status, ensure the root of the issue is addressed, and occasionally suggest solutions that are the best for the customer and not necessarily the shop? Near impossible. That said, my experiences with Northwest European Autoworks have given me the confidence to believe I've found the impossible. These guys have the customer service attitude of a python . Surprised the don't want a work order for using the pen to sign you cc receipt. Very expensive on par with the Mercedes dealer. Enforced policy of no waiting heaven help the on the road sprinter breakdown, having to hang in the industrial waste land. read more

Have an audi a 4 that Had a small leak that I thought was coolant and contacted NW euro works and they advised me to bring it in to check it out. Dropped it off Monday morning Matt called me and told me what he had done and everything looked good but wanted to do a pressure test just to confirm. Got a call back and everything was A OK! I sighed with relief. Come to find out it was fluid from my headlight washer. Didn't charge me for testing the pressure and I was grateful and appreciative. Definitely will go back. read more

They tried to buy my car for $200 after lying about what was wrong with it. They basically said there was no hope for it and it needed to go to the junk yard. I took it to another dealer and they said there's nothing wrong with it just a leaking oil filter which was replaced. read more

so had my 2001 vw beetle in for clutch problems they fixed it for a reasonable price$550also had them clean out the turbo$600 well worth it.must have caught them on a good day.they suggested I have the timing belt done.2months I brought it in to have the timing belt done $1400.00 got my car back and was running poorly.next the car would not start.called the shop finally the owner got back to me and said push the throttle to the floor and try to start.it started.brought it back a second timeto fix what they didnt do right.when I got it back performance was betterat first.more power but worse fuel economy.and car still idled rough when engine is stopped the whole car shakes when the engine is started it makes a horrible noise.when im coasting to a stop engine misfires.these people dont know what there doing at least with vw diesels.he did fix a few minor things free of charge on return visit.but did not solve timing issue.have lost confidence in them read more
