Every appointment was basically we tell them our timeframe needs, they tell us a time that works to bring the car in for an appointment, and then....we get our car back like 5 hours later. With three kids, school, sports, work etc, it doesn't work to sit around for five hours to switch the snow tires out. At Point S, we made an appointment for 3:00 Monday to get a new set of Nokian One's for the Sienna, and my wife drove away at 3:30!!! We were so pumped. Because I'm located in California, I had the X5 M BMW delivered to me. Within the first two minutes of driving it, I encountered multiple serious mechanical issues -- none of which were reported in the PPI. These included a check engine light with a Cylinder 3 misfire code, a parking brake malfunction, and a drivetrain malfunction. All of this surfaced during a two-minute drive from where the car was dropped off to my home. When I respectfully explained the situation to Joe at SK Motorsport including sending him pictures and video of said issues, he informed me that scanning for check engine lights would cost $225.00 -- literally $1.34 more than I had already paid for the entire inspection. None of this was disclosed to me beforehand. It's clear to me that SK Motorsport has a financial interest in keeping MB Motors LLC happy so they can continue receiving PPI referrals from the dealership. As a result, they perform incomplete, half-hearted inspections and deliberately omit significant mechanical issues to avoid jeopardizing that relationship -- at the direct expense of the buyer. I will be sharing photos and video documenting these issues. You'll see in one of the screenshots below Joe also charged me $223.66 when he states the PPI is $205.00. Wasn't a big deal to me but another example that's shows this shop has zero integrity. Do yourself a favor and find an independent shop with no ties to the dealership before making a purchase like this. I'll attach pictures of the PPI, Pictures and videos of the issues with car right after receiving delivery as well as Joes response to the situation.

Once John passed I tried to remain loyal but after several foul experiences, all of which were sour... I will not be returning to RUDE's auto. I've only hear the same stories from friends of mine who've also been there, never to return. The name is misleading in one regard, Rudes does not specialize in alignment by any means, they happen to have the rack but it feels as if you pain them when asking to align your vehicle. On the other hand, the name does represent the customer service. Of the last two vehicles I took there, one of them drove crooked when I left so I turned around and brought it back; they then explained their wheel plates are worn out and they are "considering" replacing them.... Great to hear after I just paid for an alignment. The other vehicle wore through the tires at a very fast pace, I just took it else where and had it re-aligned.

Green being good to go, yellow being problems needed to be look at in the near future, and red being problems that needed to be addressed right now. All with explanations and questions further answered by the manager who explained it to me well esp for someone with no car knowledge. The manager was really upfront with me telling the costs of those repairs and if I was looking to buy a new car it might be cheaper to get a new one. I've had mine for 11 years that's been on multiple cross country road trips and I was not responsible enough to do good maintenance on it. It really made me trust them. I did not feel like I was getting hustled whatsoever which is something I'm sure everyone fears going into the auto shop. Not to mention they were dog friendly, had free coffee, and a record player with various records available for you to play. I got my vehicle within the hour. I had been calling around to find out what a Transmission service would cost for my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 with only 51K miles on her - the prices I was getting from a local dealership and a few other auto repair shops were about double to what it said it should cost per another google search. Tony was spot on. I had called him up and he gave me a quote over the phone, said he could do it the next morning, so away I went - he said it'd take a few hours and that was about right when I got the call 2.5 hours later that the truck was done. He replaced the fluids in the tranny along with the filter, checked the bands, did an engine oil change gratis with the filter and oil I supplied. He is a man of his word, a good communicator and an absolute pleasure to do business with. So in my departing he relayed his findings and observations, and had a list of a few recommendations of things that should be addressed in the future that they found while working on the truck to keep it in top shape, he was wonderful in the way that he explained everything in detail making it easy to understand. It's a small shop - albeit he specializes in transmission's he does it all. Couldn't be happier with the service, definitely recommend them.
