May 7, 2025 - I…read moreswear to god, everyone in Seattle is so sensitive when it comes to anything car-related or anything at all (I grew up here, don't even play with me). Metro is the most no-nonsense direct shop in the area. I live in Los Angeles now, and the best shops here know about Metro (looking at you, Collision Consultants)... A lot of the Metro reviews are fake or from people who can't cope. Yes, an insurance claim sucks. Yes, there is a chance that StateFarm, AllState, Pemco, Safeco, etc, may not pay as fast as Hagerty or Chubb. Yes, they may want to use that recycled part without your approval... We've gone to Metro (I want to say) for 8 or 10 years. They are not as fast as some of the Los Angeles shops, but they are the best body shop in Seattle. They are excellent at what they do. Jules is a busy guy; give him a break. He needs space to tell insurance to pay up (funny how our insurance seems to expedite things and not play when we drop off here). The front desk team is on it. Communicate clearly and let them be. If you were hurt and you want to torture someone else, just go across the pond and try Bel-Red Auto Rebuild (ask for Challan Kershaw) or try a shop that has been in business for 43 years but is milking it now that they have this town's golden stamp of approval. Lots of complacent liars out there in the PNW Auto Body repair network, and Metro is not one of them. 35-day total repair time (slight mishap with a part delay), but overall incredible. My car looks fantastic. I am very impressed what they were able to get done in a detail shop! Every time I walk up and see my car, I smile. The only critical feedback I have is to give a longer range of time it may take to complete the work. This job took 1.5 days longer than anticipated and that could've just been addressed by being more conservative when telling me how long it may take. 1/5 - AVOID SEATTLE AUTO PRO AT ALL COSTS…read more This was one of the worst auto repair experiences I've ever had. I took my Lexus to Seattle Auto Pro to fix several cylinder misfires. I came prepared and even brought all 6 spark plugs myself. They inspected the car and then upsold me, telling me I also needed 6 ignition coils from them. I trusted them and agreed to the work. They kept my car from Friday to Monday, then texted me saying the misfires were fixed. Cool. I paid and picked it up thinking the nightmare was over. It wasn't. On the drive home on the freeway, my car started misfiring worse than before. The whole car was shaking uncontrollably and it smelled strongly of unburnt gas. This was honestly scary and felt dangerous. I barely made it home and parked it. When I called the shop to tell them what happened, one of their mechanics, Favian, told me the problem was now the O2 sensor and that I needed to buy one and bring the car back the next day. That made zero sense to me, and at that point I had lost all trust in them. Before taking it anywhere else, I scanned my car. When I originally brought it to Seattle Auto Pro, my Topdon scanner showed 5 trouble codes. After picking it up from them and having it run WAY worse, it now showed 21 codes. That alone tells you how badly they messed things up. I refused to bring it back to Seattle Auto Pro and instead had it towed to another shop I had prior experience with. They diagnosed and fixed the car the same day. They did not upsell me. They told me the O2 sensor had absolutely nothing to do with how the car was running. The real problem? A broken spark plug inside the cylinder -- which is insane considering Seattle Auto Pro had just "replaced" my spark plugs. The second shop was genuinely shocked at the condition my car was in after Seattle Auto Pro worked on it. They fixed it properly, charged me way less, and even gave me a warranty on their work. Seattle Auto Pro gave me a bigger bill and a car that was worse than when I brought it in. This could have been catastrophic for my engine if I had continued driving it or followed their advice and kept throwing random parts at it. Bottom line: Seattle Auto Pro either doesn't know how to properly diagnose cars or doesn't care. They upsell parts, misdiagnose problems, and send you off with an unsafe vehicle. Never, ever take your car here. I will never go back. F*** Favian!

I saw it as an unnecessary expense, something…read moremany wanted and few needed, owning cars with average windows plus fabric interiors and working a job that I regularly started and ended with the moon in the sky. A change in both cars and jobs drastically changed my opinion after one summer month with my then-new black car with black leather interior and working normal hours where I'd leave with the sun beating down on it. The interior was hotter than Tartarus and took ten times as long to cool down. After a lot of research I decided on Bespoke because their reviews were great! I made an appointment and met with Kris to talk options and timing. Kris was fabulous. This remarkably was a different experience for me because there were no attempts at upselling, add-ons, or biases present. Kris asked questions that identified what would work best for me, offered options, and the entire time was thoughtful. I can count on one hand how many car-related businesses have treated me with as much consideration and respect that Kris did. Typically I am dismissed, disregarded, or talked down to when dealing with car-related businesses from auto part shops to car mechanics. This was a stellar experience for me. Go to Bespoke for transparent pricing, expert care, and the best results! Now my car is very comfortable in the summer, I feel better because my skin is not baking, and it has lasted! I also feel safer! I have light sensitivity and I used to only be able to glance quickly out the passenger windows when merging if there were any cars that reflected the sun, but with the tinting I can carefully and completely assess and see my surroundings. And during the night it equally is great because I can quickly see headlights separated from surrounding ambiant light like building lights and street lights. I hadn't realized how hard my eyes were working until the strain was eliminated and driving became fun again. I went from thinking this was a frivolous expense to seeing it as the best purchase. I have Kris and Bespoke to thank!

This service is a complete joke…read more I got my car detailed by Chad, last year and he did a piss poor job. It also took forever for them to correct the mistake because their policy was that I can only take the car back to the person who messed up the service to have it fixed. Chad was booked out for weeks so I had to wait for them to fit me in the schedule. I'm just now leaving a review because it was my first time getting my car detailed at the time and I didn't know any better. I didn't know what it meant (they basically shampoo your car) or how much it should cost at the time. Looking back, I feel like I got completely scammed. I now have more experience with other car detailers like WashLB (mobile detailer in Seattle) and two other car washes in LA (I moved) to say this Mr. Detail location in the Fairmont garage is a complete joke. I only paid for an interior detail because I go to the Costco Car wash for $8 to get the outside cleaned. I only booked for interior and it STILL cost me something stupid like $235 for a Tesla Model 3. I think there was a pet hair add on. They ask you to add tip before you pick up the car so I tipped $45, like a dummy, only to drive away with a still dirty car. They work out of a dimly lit garage with barely any light so they probably cannot see all the dirt. When I drove my car into the sun, all the dust and stuff they missed were immediately apparent. It was a waste of time and money because each time I dropped the car off I had to Uber or walk home! I was out my car for 3 hours each time while I waited. Later I hired WashLB who came to my apartment's garage and would wipe down my car with a bucket of water and rags I guess and vacuums. They also did not have strong sun light to show all the dirt but they did a good job for only $77 (before tip) for both interior and exterior. I didn't have to go anywhere, they came to my garage. Moving to LA, the detail places here are also $70-$150 for both interior and exterior. All these cheaper places did a much better job and didn't make me wait 2+ weeks to bring the car back to get their mistake fixed. This business is totally absurd, a waste of time and money. Please look at the photos and see for yourself.
