This is a fun course and it is in Tahoe but does not come close to being worth that price. When I think of courses that are in this price range, Old Brockway does not measure up. I will try to find somewhere else to play when I'm up here or I'll just wait until I get back to the valley. It's unfortunate but I can't allow myself to get fleeced like that again. This course has great views but it is best up and there is nothing about it that should cost that much. Pace of play was a joke too. Waiting 15-20 minutes on each hole.

Well I call it hidden because who would drive out 35 minutes away? It's a dry November and there isn't as much to do in south Tahoe. It's totally worth it especially when you take into consideration the value. $40 with cart at 1:30p on a Sunday. The golf course is pretty much all to yourself. I was able to finish the round in less than 3 hours! Quick summary + Greens are in good conditions and undulating + Fairways are fast + Love the mix of flat and elevation changes + Tee boxes are well kept + Slope rating is accurate + Not busy during late November - Gets chilly when sun goes down - Some bunkers are bunkgrass - Greens are good but could be excellent (yeah I'm being nit picky now)

Having reviewed the layout prior to showing up I was very excited to play. Unfortunately when I got there, the disappointment set in. The fairways look like a three year old is the greenskeeper. Full of weeds, bare spots, dandelions...they are a mess. There are huge portions of fairway and rough around the cart paths that are destroyed. The place looks like its a dump and going downhill fast. There's construction work on one hole that I am told has been going on for 3 years. The carts are junk. This place could be THE BOMB! But, instead IT BOMBED? I'm in no hurry to go back to this place and if I had to pay to play at this place. I would have been livid. HUGE disappointment.

Not a single employee to be seen. Finally flagged someone down who asked where my key was. What key? Apparently after paying the prop was supposed to give me a key and I was supposed to just go pick out a cart. -No starter, so I just rolled up to the first hole and teed off at my tee time. -SLOOOOOOOOW pace. It took me over 5.5 hours to play 14 holes. At hole 12, I got tired of being stuck behind stacks of 3 and 4 somes and skipped past them until hole 15 and was still stuck behind a foursome, but at least they played quickly. The course was in great shape with great mix of forgiving and challenging holes. Seemed like there were a lot of par 3s though and one hole was under repair (10? 11?) so they turned it into kind of a janky par 3. Was just in town for a visit, but think i'll explore other courses instead next time I'm back.

I was disappointed with our experience at Lakeridge Golf Course. The course itself has a lot of…read morepotential, but the conditions and customer service really took away from the day. (We golfed on 11/9/26) On the front nine, the sprinklers were running on what felt like nearly every hole. On Hole 8, the sprinkler was actually spraying the tee box while we were trying to hit, which made it seem like the course wasn't ready for play. On top of that, I would have to dodge/time the sprinkler as it spun around my ball before I could hit it again. To make matters worse, there were construction crews working inside bunkers while golfers were actively playing the course. It's understandable that maintenance needs to happen, but having crews in play during a round isn't the experience you'd expect on a nice course. At the turn, they were already out of hot dogs, which was disappointing for a busy golf course. The beverage service also left a lot to be desired. The cart attendants weren't very friendly, and one of my friends was standing about 10 feet away trying to get their attention but was completely ignored. They were more into the conversation they were having with each other than good customer service. We gave the cart girl another chance at redemption but she still couldn't figure out how to greet us with a smile. We played with a group that typically golfs here. When we complained about the cart girl, he mentioned she's usually like that... Overall, the course layout is enjoyable, but between the sprinklers, construction, lack of food, and poor customer service, the experience didn't live up to expectations. I hope management addresses these issues because the course has the potential to be much better. If you want a great golf experience, go to Red Hawk!

The event itself was very well organized. Shuttles ran to and from Galena High School for the connivence of the guests. If you had the preferred parking at the actual event then another shuttle was available for you to use. The Tito's Tent was awesome. It was well put together, plenty of shade and some great drinks. I got the raspberry mojito, which was flavorful and not overly boozy. My friend got the makers ginger drink, both were perfect for a hot day. One thing that was fun with tent was since it was over looking the 9th hole you got a great view of the golfers. Also tvs were set up inside to watch the progress too. It was an extremely nice event. I would definitely go back to next years.

Cool bet is to score a VIP ticket to one of the many private viewing areas that cater food, drinks, cool restrooms and fabulous views.
