Please be wary of this dealership. As my wife and I are now turning 65, we needed a car with more safety features and have been very happy with our 2013 RX350. We purchased the new NX350 last week, supposedly Lexus' most advanced vehicle, only to find out after almost hitting the garage wall, there are no parking senors on the car. Not the end of the world, but very important to older drivers with young grandchildren in the family. Northside's answer was to sell us a RX350 with 1,400 miles at full sticker, but discount our 3 day old NX350 with 200 miles almost $4,000. Not sure what else this new NX350 doesn't have that other Lexus vehicles have had for the last 10 years, but please make sure if you go to this dealership, be wary of the sales practices. read more

In for a service call to have a valve stem & sensor replaced. After about 1 1/2 hours the repair was complete. When we walked to our car we noticed the wheel hadn't been cleaned after the repair & it had been damaged. There was a deep nick & a long scratch above the nick. We called Analy, our service advisor out to show her what happened during the repair even after our request that they not scratch the wheel. She stated that Lexus could pre-cut the metal to hide the damage. We told her NO. She asked if wanted it noted in our file & we said yes. We are so disappointed with this service repair, because we had hoped that the Dealership would get right, unlike some others. You guys did a worse job than other service vendors. read more

An absolutely horrendous experience - I will never buy a Lexus through this particular dealership. I called them in the morning to ask if they had any 2022 UXs available - sure enough they had one that matched our needs and Danh sent over the spec sheet immediately! Was told that in order to reserve the vehicle for the day, I would have to place a deposit of $1,000 - fair enough with the current car market. I told them that I would call them back after discussing it with my wife. Later that afternoon, after test-driving another vehicle and deciding that we wanted to go with the UX, I called Danh back up and gave him my credit card information, Driver's License, and proof of insurance in order to secure the vehicle and told him we were coming on over to get the deal done! I was told verbatim that the car was still available and that he would hold the vehicle for us until the end of the day, but there was no need for them to place the $1,000 since it was almost closing time. I told him that I didn't care if they took the $1,000 or not because I wanted the vehicle and was driving to come get it either way - just have it ready and waiting and do not sell it! Low and behold, 15 minutes later, while still driving to The Woodlands, I get a call that somehow, someway, the car had been sold to another customer, because I did not have the $1,000 deposit in, even though I CALLED AND REQUESTED TO HAVE MY DEPOSIT TAKEN! Danh claimed that he had no idea how that happened and then had the audacity to suggest for us to still come in and he would help find another car for us. I told him that there was no way in the world we would be doing a deal with them now or ever again since they decided to lie to us on the phone and waste our time, and that we would be taking our business to Westside or Clear Lake Lexus. Lexus is a terrific make, and our family has bought multiple cars from them over the years, but this is one of the worst experiences I have encountered, especially from a luxury brand. The first rule of customer service is to under-promise and over-deliver, not vice versa. If Danh had told me that the vehicle was bought by another customer, but I could still get on the waitlist or wait a few more weeks for another UX to pop in, I would've done it in a heartbeat because we are still in that market. Overall really good experience with this Lexus dealership after getting nowhere with local dealers I started to look outside the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I started email conversations with multiple dealerships. Randy with north side Lexus was very responsive to my questions and once we agreed to pricing I booked my tickets and flew down where he then picked us up and drove us back to dealership to finalize the deal. Service advisor I had was a joke, the dealership is a joke, Thank you Northside Lexus for being zero help on my last visit, I had an appointment that I made online and requested a loaner for that appointment, they did not have a loaner car, or fix my problem with my 2019 Lexus. The service advisor I had not only did not want to preform the service I made my appointment for (an oil change @4250 miles since the last one) he recommended a service I did not need... which was a tire rotation.....my tires have less than 500 miles on them (and I have a undiagnosed cold start rattle) ...(and I have a fuel pump that could fail at anytime... open recall...I cannot blame Northside for this but it is Lexus's problem and my wifes $50k Suv could die going down the freeway at any moment so thanks). I visited the north side location for an oil change. I put 40$ in my middle console thinking no one would need to go in there and that it was safe. When they tell you to remove all your valuables PLEASE DO SO or don't come with any valuables at all. Someone reached into my middle console and stole my money. YES I AM SURE I put it there because I put it in there just prior to coming here. This was my first stop for the day and I know what I did with MY money. Being that Lexus is a prestige brand I wouldn't think they'd hire thieves. Shortly after my initial review was posted I received a call from the sales manager at Northside Lexus wanting to discuss my experience and how they could rectify the situation. He was extremely understanding and apologetic about my negative experience. Since my plates were due to arrive soon, he offered to detail the entire vehicle and even took care of a crack in my windshield at no cost to me. He was very thorough and made sure to minimize my wait time during the process. My view of Northside Lexus has fully been redeemed thanks to Cristian Craioveanu. I had a recall on my vehicle and was schedule for a 2:30 appointment on a Friday. I arrived at 1 pm for my appointment and was seen within 5 mins. The representative who was suppose to help me, Caleb, he was out on lunch-which was fine because I did come way early for my appointment-but the moment he came back, he called me right away. As a Lexus owner, I never work with northside Lexus, always went to sterling McCall Lexus, best Lexus dealer in town, my friend had a issue with his ct200 and he took the car to northside Lexus for repair, they had his car for 10 days and they told him the issue was transmission ECU and that they replaced it and he good to go ($1700 repair bill). The dealer did not provide him with a loaner car, so his fiance drove the lexus home, before they even get home the car breaks down and shuts off as she driving middle of the road (major safety issue). They had to push the car and tow it to the dealership again after spending $1700 and 10 days being without a car. They kept the car for another 12 days and finally they say is the relay thats causing the problem, based on Lexus website these are the items that is covered under 72 month powertrain warranty: TRANSMISSION AND TRANSAXLE Case and all internal parts, torque converter, clutch cover, mounts, engine control computer, seals and gaskets car has only 40k miles and is a 2014 he still have 8 months left on his warranty and 32k miles, by far this has to be the worse Lexus dealership in town, save your self the headache and go to Sterling McCall Lexus, read more

Bought an $80,000 LC500 from salesman Donnie Holcomb. Drove all the way from Austin so I arrived after dark. Huge mistake since the bottom of the car was scratched up badly in the front. Had I known this, had Donnie or Northside been honest with me, I never would have bought the vehicle especially at 80k. They offered me to have the car repaired at their mediocre body shop knowing good and well repairing it like that will hurt the value of the car. Donnie even specifically asked if my trade with 47k miles had paint work because that would devalue the trade, but it's perfectly fine for my new car to need paint work! Their GM Tim Karmout never returned my phone call or Lexus NA's phone call. Completely cowardly and dishonest. I'll be having my vehicle repaired by a quality shop I know and trust. I made an appointment to get a 4 wheel alignment on my 2004 LS 430. The car was pulling to the right. Tires are at about 75% tread life. I Picked my car up the next day and while driving to my job I saw the car was still pulling to the right exactly the same as it was when I took it in. So I get to my job where I work as a trained mechanic for the government. I put my car on a lift to look underneath my car and the places underneath the vehicle where there should be wrench marks to perform an alignment, there were not any. None. The price for a Lexus alignment is $163. So I call the dealership to complain that it looks like no work was even performed on my car and tell them that the vehicle still pulls to the right exactly the same. I ended up talking to Todd. He offered me a refund of the $163 and at the same time asked if I could bring the car in and I look at the car with him and his technician. I have to work, so I could not do this. However I did take my car back a day later so that Todd and his shop foreman could look at the car again. Todd says "yeah the alignment was done, but I have a bent front stabilizer bar link at the front of the car, and lower control arm bushings are cracked and worn. On the inspection sheet that I got where they inspect the car, the tech says that I needed a new serpentine belt. My belt is only 6 months old. They said I have a leaking right rear strut. I do not. The strut is dry as a bone. They also said I needed new valve cover gaskets. I do not. A brake fluid flush. I do not as my brake fluid is as clear as new. What I do have wrong with my car is a leaking rear pinion seal. And they didn't notice this until I took the vehicle in the second time. Seems that they are just making recommendation based on mileage only and recommending items that are high labor items. Frankly, I don't think the technician did any work on my vehicle. I expected a quality service from this Lexus dealership. I wouldn't take a bicycle into this dealership for them to work on. I would give them 1/2 a star if I I could. Very crap service department. Luckily I got my $163 back in the form of a check. After two trips to this dealership, car was still pulling to the right. I will never return to Northside Lexus. My experience was not anything that I expected. I had my financing with my bank & Northside asked me questions that were none of their business about my financing. The financing person was argumentative. So then we waited for 2 days before the car was released to me. I had to get a hotel room when my financing was in place before I ever arrived at the dealership. I asked for a second key & they didn't have that programmed when I arrived. It was mailed & I had it programmed. Nothing personal in treatment of their customers. I'm old school so treating a visitor like company makes them feel special. That did not happen at Northside. I found my own place to wait & wait & wait. Found a person to direct me to the restrooms & getting a drink. And I did not stay because of a great deal, Northside thinks a thousand dollars wud make everyone jump. I was over looking (my truck had been totaled) & ready to move forward. I purchased a CERTIFIED vehicle, the wipers had to be replaced & the tires balanced, the vehicle pulled to the right. I paid for those things. I do not recommend Northside. read more

Shortly after I get another email saying 'sold'. That's it. No apologies, no suggestions for other comparable vehicles. Sent a reply about another vehicle and never heard back. Honestly, kind of offensive at how poor the effort was. A week later they had another car so we went in person to see it. All was well and made an offer a few days later via txt with the sales agent. Went back and forth and then stuck with a low but fair offer. Never heard back. We still were willing to go a but higher, but never got the opportunity. Seriously, couldn't give these guys my money. Ended up dealing with Dominion Lexus in San Antonio and had a great experience and they got the sale.
