Stopped by Northside Grind before heading to Magens Bay. It's a convenient little coffee spot if you're on your way to the beach. I ordered a 16 oz iced latte ($6.75) with coconut flavor (+$1) and whole milk. I also tried a 20 oz iced cold brew ($6.00) with coconut flavor (+$1) and sweet cold foam (+$2). Our total for both drinks came to $16.75. The iced latte had a light roast feel but leaned pretty milky for my taste. The beans didn't really stand out as much as I would have liked. If you prefer a stronger, more pronounced espresso profile, you might want to ask for an extra shot. They do offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and they have their own parking lot. What I really liked is that they serve both breakfast and lunch, so it's more than just coffee. They also sell local merchandise like candles, soaps, magnets, and even have board games available. Service was okay. They were quite busy but our coffees eventually came out although the cold foam had deflated by then. read more

Best coffee we found on our week long trip to the USVI! We got 2 americanos and 2 vanilla lattes, one cold and one hot. All were great! My hot vanilla latte was only a little sweeter than I normally take it but the espresso was great and the streamed milk was perfectly silky. The vibes were there even if we did have to wait a little bit as the locals, whom I assume we about to go on shifts near by, were served before us-- maybe they ordered ahead or come at a regular time often to be expected. The directions make it super easy to find with a convenient parking lot near by. This is a perfect island coffee place that I would recommend anyone that visits to stop in for, even if you have a 10 minute drive to get to it like we did. read more

Surprised this gem doesn't have as many reviews because everything my family & I had was very good! We got 2 stinky pigs, 1 carnival, 1 chicken quesadilla, 1 very berry smoothie, & 1 guava freeze latte. To start off the food is great, the service is excellent. The workers have greeted me in and out of the door. The place looks clean and nice inside. The only downside is the place is a small area. But they make up for it with the quality of the food and drinks. I had a bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese croissant and man that sandwich was so good I had to order two of them. As well as other sandwiches and croissants and bagels burritos. I take this over any fast food on the island. I'll definitely be going here more often whenever I come back to visit St Thomas again. read more

I ordered one with dragonfruit and it came out this beautiful pink color. I ordered an everything bagel as well and it was just as delicious. I had a bite and it was very good. I am usually not a fan of Rueben's but enjoyed the flavors of this one. I had the turkey/bacon hoagie and it was delicious as well. Good flavor and bread. For a bunch of reasons, getting an excellent cup of coffee can be a real challenge in St. Thomas. There are a few honorable mentions but the total package presentation has got to go to a tucked away little spot in the Flamboyan Hotel called Northside Grind. I've had 5 cups of coffee there and each one was far and above "very good" which it seems is really hard to achieve. In addition, the outdoor seating and the wide variety of delicious, homemade food, makes this an excellent coffee experience and well worth the extra effort. There are cats walking around looking cute, and the staff is loving and great to look at too! read more

My husband and I live on the Northside, so it's a nice convenient stop for us to grab breakfast. Really great smoothies and build your own breakfast sandwich options, wait can be a little long sometimes so don't go if your in a rush ..... I added a photo of the smoothie menu....it's not placed on their website nor was it found on Yelp...after searching forever I finally found it on Facebook. I ordered at this location and expected a nice breakfast. I waited over 45 minutes for my food to still not come out. When I asked the barista why she said that's what it is on a Sunday. Totally understandable other than 5 more people who ordered after us left with their food. The way we were treated is absolutely unacceptable. I wish I could've taken my money back and never depended on this place for breakfast. Coffee was way over priced and food was at best mid. I would work on better staff communication. Caitlin was so unhelpful. I would find better front of house staff if she can't keep up. 45 minutes for toast. Come on don't hire workers who can't work. read more

Probably the best iced latte I've found on the island so far, and it's such a relief. It's one of the closest places I've found to a standard metropolitan place making espresso drinks. On the island I've had sour, watery coffee called an iced latte, and a bitter iced latte, but this coffee actually tastes good, and strong enough even with a bunch of milk and over ice. The food is a bit heavy, not standard coffee shop baked goods, but rather breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and wraps, so it's just a coffee stop as far as I'm concerned. They sell beans, too, but they were $18 for a bag, so it's a bit pricy for beans--$15 for something fresh and local is about my max. This is on the Flamboyan resort complex, and there's plenty of parking. They have signs out from the road, and mapping apps get you here properly. There's a bit of gravel road and parking lot at the end. read more

After spending six weeks nearby last year and coming here a LOT, I was super excited to revisit this year. I love their smoothies, baked goods and coffee. It's a quaint, clean place but they know how to deliver. Also, a kitty sanctuary. But... *womp womp* I've been here three times so far this year and I'm so sad because the person who has taken my order EVERY. TIME. I've been here - even yesterday morning - has been totally rude!! I thought it was just a bad day and brushed it off but three consecutive times now? What a crush on my impression of this place. Why tho?
