Breakfast buffet was a must and it did not disappoint, the pancakes, eggs, and everything in between were worth it. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch

The best food we had during our stay was during breakfast and brunch at the shorebird.

The restaurant is constantly understaffed and the buffet is not refilled. If you come late your selections are limited

We originally had another restaurant on our radar but BOY were we happy we decided to take the short walk from the ship pier to Cravin' Crabs! They even serve Pancit (a delicious filipino noodle/spaghetti dish) I was not expecting to see that on the menu! Then when we left we realized there's a Filipino deli right next-door. So apparently it's authentic. The seafood was fresh and all the sides were unique and scrumptious! There was one side we enjoyed, we were not sure what it was, we could only decide it was the mashed potatoes, it tasted and had the texture more of some sort of dressing. Our server asked if we wanted some of the Tuscan seafood gravy on it and Yes, Yes, yes!! We did!! There was a little bit of a language barrier but we just pointed at what we wanted and it all worked out!! The food is right in front of you like cafeteria style so you can see what you are getting. My husband and I split one Tuscan Seafood plate with two sides, that was MORE than enough for the two of us for lunch. We'd definitely go back next time we are in ST. Thomas. Bravo!

Also ordered a side of shrimp and that was also 10:10! Upon entering you approach the counter to order and they make your plate. The line moves pretty fast. There is both inside and outside seating. The servers act like they do not want to be here and the lobby and car service folks as well. Right now I've waited 45 mins to get room service on the line. I either get hung up on or no answer at all. Sent multiple food items back as they were either raw, or never showed up. When I told a server on our first day here the ceviche was big clumps of tuna with some mango pieces she just said ok. We waited 50 mins because our order was lost at the sea side BBQ restaurant. Balcony was never swept and bath gel was never delivered. It's a beautiful location with a lot of potential but i can't recommend this hotel as the service is absolutely non existent.

The resort is easy to get around, beautifully landscaped, and spotless -- from the rooms and grounds to the common areas. The staff couldn't have been nicer -- everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Our room was right by the ocean and just steps from the private beach, which made it feel extra special. The infinity pool was large and never crowded, and the swim-up bar was a fun touch. There were always plenty of lounge chairs available, so we never had to rush out early to grab one. We also appreciated having access to the amenities at the sister property, The Westin, which added even more options during our stay. The bartenders at The Sandbar, Sean and Michael, really stood out -- super friendly, attentive, and just great to talk to. The food there was excellent (we especially loved the pizza and tacos), and the portions were just right. We also used the valet service, which was quick and very helpful with our luggage. Breakfast at Sugarfin was delicious, though a bit pricey -- the $25 French toast was hands-down the best I've ever had, and honestly, I'd order it again. The orange juice, bacon, and sausage were also excellent. We did run into a couple of small issues, but the staff handled them quickly and professionally. One thing to note -- the "king" beds are actually a bit narrower than a standard king (about six inches). Malika from Service Express explained that all rooms have this size to maximize space, and he was kind enough to offer a small resort credit for the inconvenience. We really appreciated how he handled it. The sunsets from the property were absolutely stunning -- some of the best we've ever seen. On our last night, we had dinner at Isla Blue, the fine dining restaurant on-site. Service was excellent, and most of the food was fantastic. I did have an issue with my filet that took a bit of follow-up to get resolved, but once upper management got involved, they handled it very professionally and made things right. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Buoy Haus. It's a beautiful, relaxing resort with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back, upscale getaway in St. Thomas.

From the moment we arrived after a quick ferry ride from St. Thomas we were swept up in the vibe. This spot is basically a no-holds-barred beach bash in broad daylight: cold tropical cocktails flowing, live music pumping (especially on Sundays), and everyone from locals to visitors cranking the energy to max. It's not just a bar and grill; it's where "daytime beach party" gets redefined. We got there early, grabbed shaded lounge chairs plenty of amenities like paddleboarding and snorkeling are a nice bonus), and before we knew it, the place was packed with groups laughing, dancing in the sand, and toasting like it was midnight at a club. Pure, unfiltered fun kids these days might call it getting "Crunked Up," but for us, it was straight-up thriller-level partying under the Caribbean sun. The food hits the spot too: fresh locally caught fish, juicy burgers, tacos, and salads that feel perfect with your feet in the sand. Service can lag when it's slammed (which it usually is, in the best way), but who cares when the atmosphere is this electric? Fun facts that make it even better: Dinghy's sits right on Honeymoon Beach, one of the calmest, clearest spots in the USVI, on tiny Water Island (just 3/4 square mile easy to explore, big on vibes). It evolved from a spot called Joe's Beach Bar when the current owners took over around 2013, turning it into the go-to for boozy, sweaty, sultry beach days that feel like the Caribbean's version of a legendary cantina hangout. No wonder it's racked up thousands of glowing reviews it's consistently ranked as a top beach bar for good reason. If you're in St. Thomas and want a place that kicks off the good times early and doesn't let up, Dinghy's is it. 5 stars would party there again in a heartbeat. Cheers to epic daytime adventures!

The golf cart wasn't fully charged and had trouble making it up and down all the hills on the island. None of the staff were particularly helpful or polite. The beach area was nice but the bathrooms were messy, one stall had no toilet paper and the other toilet was clogged. At least there was soap at the hand sink outside. The view is nice and there are amenities on the beach like chairs and umbrellas but they all come at a premium price.
