The owner suddenly passed away February 9 now I'm faced with having to find a place that will accept to pitbulls along with no income car payments are getting behind I owed $1140. He talks me into putting a mechanics lien on my car to help me get on my feet. It's wrong it's fraud but I was desperate I agreed I find out from a letter when I go to take my dogs out of the moldy house that they're still living in that the bank has possession of my vehicle. He didn't even call me to tell me they picked it up. They paid $5700 for my car that he did not fix not to mention when I drop the car off I left them with $150 , at this point, I go by the shop and that's when he tells me he has cancer with his red blood cells. I asked what kind he gives me no name tells me he has to contact his company and he will call me tomorrow at this point he still not contacting me. I show up at the shop again. I'm told he didn't show up. He's in the hospital. We are getting a building ready for an inspection and future sale and the AC broke in the middle of a 100 plus degree heat wave. I brought the part in with a bent wheel and they had the part I needed in stock. They were willing to put it on but some of the bolts were rusted on. Instead they worked with me on the price. An hour after arriving back with the part the AC was back up and running. I love supporting family owned businesses like this one. They are knowledgeable, honest, and charge fairly. I purchased four vents for a reasonable price and came back home to install them. I installed the one in the master bedroom and the one in the great room. When I went to install the third one, I realized that one of the flaps was missing it place. I checked the last one I had bought and it was in the same condition. I decided to go back immediately, and when I arrived, the store owner immediately asked me what was wrong. I approached him and showed the problem. At that moment the lady who took care of me when I did the purchased, immediately said that the vent had fallen and that someone had damaged it. I told her that I was the only person in my house and that I hadn't even opened the vent's packaging. The woman started manipulating the vent, trying to bend the sides to fix the problem, to which I replied that I would prefer a new one. The store owner angrily refused. He said he had carefully handed them to me and they were in perfect condition. He said I had taken them out of the box and everything seemed normal. I replied that I had taken one out to check the screws and see if they matched (comparing) the used ones I had brought, which the woman confirmed. The owner started yelling. I told him there was no need for that, and he continued yelling, telling he knew people like me. I replied that he didn't, that he didn't know who I am, and finished by telling him that I am a decent man. At that point, I felt it was appropriate to leave the store to prevent things from escalating. The truth is, I feel I've been scammed. There was no intention of accepting defective parts from the beginning, which violates consumer rights. I definitely cannot recommend them, but this will not go unpunished. I am going to file a complaint with the small business bureau because there is no justification for the kind of treatment I received. It's not about the nearly $70.00 that was stolen, it's about the trust one can have in a business that doesn't provide the support that every consumer is entitled to, not to mention the rudeness with which I was treated.

The employee informed me that possibly on Tuesday or Wednesday a shipment arrives at the store. I told him I would come back on Wednesday. Today, I still needed to complete the shine on the rest of my tires. As I was shining the next tire, the entire piece of foam dismantled from the plastic handle. TRIP #3...Again, I drove back to the AutoZone to show them the faulty damaged item and get a refund. The employee informed me that the manager that can approve the refund on my credit card does not work on Sundays and will be in the store tomorrow - Monday. They said that I could leave the item and the receipt with my name and phone number and the manager would call me about the refund tomorrow. I was not satisfied with that option and told him I would return tomorrow with the item and receipt to speak with the manager. I will update/edit the review with my results tomorrow - wish me luck. I understand this is a brand new store with friendly staff and a great location, but something needs to be in place for a simple damaged item return - At this point, Amazon would have been easier and quicker. TRIP #4...Im back again, to meet with the manager, Bosun, who was super friendly and professional. I explained the item return facade over the last two days at his store. Bosun informed me that even though this is a brand new AutoZone store, the return policy is a simple quick process whether its a credit card transaction or not and the manager does NOT have to be present. Bosun shook my hand and apologized for any inconvenience. Literally, the return/refund took one painless minute and during that time my friend purchased two items. Due to the manager's professionalism, I will keep my original 4 star review in tact, but with need to find another tire shine applicator on Amazon.

Local delivery was available for $95.00 including removal of your old mattress "without stains" which was odd.

Riverside Paper, my usual to go refused to budge even though I've been a customer for over a year. So I called Broward Paper, at first they said they were only servicing clients with accounts because of the canary virus, and if I wanted to purchase I needed to open an account with a minimum of a $150 purchase. I didn't want to spend the $150 either, but the woman who I was talking to was super! She allowed me to come in and buy exactly what I needed without an account, I was only required to bring the exact amount of cash. I don't think Riverside has lost my business, but they lost some of it. I really loathe driving to Miami because I can only go down there within a short window because of the traffic. On the weekdays rush-hour literally ends at 11 am and starts again at 2:30 pm in Miami. I kid you not, and god help you if you get stuck on the l-95 because of an accident which they do every day multiple times a day. Basically I have to adjust my whole day just to go down there. Broward Paper is centrally located around many places and businesses I frequent, so I am definitely going to purchase from them again, and I'm eventually going to open an account.
