Glen answered the phone and was so helpful. He suggested I google for an electrician in Brentwood TN area. I am somewhat technologically challenged so he explained how I would go about it and even stayed on the phone with me while I googled. Needless to say, B&C Hardware is always my first "go to" for things like hardware needs and questions in Brentwood TN.

I thought I would give an update in the times of pandemic:…read more During Covid-19, there's a guy sitting outside and a very large sign that says "stay in your car." Obviously I missed the stay in your car sign because I'm blind but the guy informed me from a good distance that the current method of getting stuff is to call the number, pay via credit card, and they will run it out to you. This done, I got the part needed to stop hot water from flooding my basement. I probably got it slightly faster than I would have had I wandered in looking for it.

We were happy to make one stop to get all we needed. Our biggest compliment is for the customer service. Billend helped us from start to finish and did so with a smile. His quick advice for calculating what we needed, was happy to estimate cost to compare the design pieces I was considering and helped get us someone to pull off the top shelves. While I did not get her name, the lady at checkout was super sweet as well. Great job on staffing your store with helpful, nice people.

Now in Smyrna not the same case, I bought a miter saw, I thought I seen there was a coupon on my phone and when I get to the register the supervisor who was ringing me up scan the coupon I thought i could use and he did, this won't work for this saw he said, but then the manager at the next register mentioned about a coupon to the sup, but he didn't take the time to look, when I got home I noticed there was a coupon for the saw. This will probably be my last time at this store, I visited this store many time and I don't see how I couldn't get the deal that was advertised, no loyalty here at this store, the manager was wonderful not the supervisor.

Tired of being stuck in the house, I decided to trek over to the store and check it out. When I got there, the tool was listed at $24.99. I told the clerk that I had just seen it online for $17.99 and she said if I could find a coupon, that was the price, otherwise it was $24.99. I looked on line for a few minutes but couldn't find the damned thing. I'm not playing stupid games. If you advertise it at one price, you should sell it at that price. In the state of Tennessee, fraud is defined as "An intentional deception or misrepresentation made by a person with the knowledge that the deception could result in some unauthorized benefit to himself or some other person." I can't see how this type of bait and switch would not meet that standard. I bought a rotary tool at Wal-Mart on my way home.

The box was a bit tattered and tore up but they assured me it was a hell of a deal. Half price almost, original price was almost 3K. Wow. I'm stealing this bad boy. The box actually looked like it had drifted through the 2010 Opryland atrium flood, I pictured it wedged between a kapok tree and bowl of artichoke dip. But, I mean it's a beautiful bronze faucet. It could withstand anything. Right?! Fast forward, missing parts clamps, washers , rings, returning plumbers , on line orders, wrong size replacement products. 20 hours later of labor and my time surfing the net to find the right part. I finally solved the problem. Told them and they said oh wow sorry. I asked for a discount for all the inconvenience and the money spent and time lost. They said. Oh I'm sorry. It's final sale I said but u just spent a month trying to find me the right parts and u got that wrong too. Yah but I saw on the box it said final sale. . Woo hoo. This is how we do it.
