NOTE: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Visited Sun 10/6. Great service from co-owner's son, Jeff. They don't usually have table service, but offered when they saw me come in with my walker. Split a delicious large pizza with my new friend, Al: *mine - half veggie (eggplant, mushrooms, onions green peppers, spinach, broccoli & black olives) was easily 1.5" thick! *his - half taco pizza (seasoned beef, tomato, onion, corn chips, lettuce, with salsa & sour cream on side). everytime we've ordered from here our order has been wrong. Last time we ordered our order was wrong, an Italian with everything came as a sub with a piece of bologna, ham, and a slice of cheese with Mayo. When we called to have to order fixed the woman answering the phone gave us terrible attitude, said she'd replace the order and have it delivered before hanging up the phone on us. An hour later our sub was not delivered, when we called back again received terrible attitude once again and it was delivered a half hour later. Ordered a pizza by phone; a female voice said it would be ready in ten minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later to find only one person working the counter, answering the phone, and preparing the food. When I asked about my order he said he still had to make it. I waited five more minutes and he was unable to start preparing food because he had to answer the phone. When he hung up he said his manager was out back and that he just got there; I canceled my order and he seemed unconcerned. As I was leaving I saw two young women behind the store smoking cigarettes and chatting. I asked if they were the manager and they confirmed they were. I explained what took place and they pretended to be "shocked" and offered no apology or solution. read more

I had food delivered to me from a kid who was like 16 or 17 years old. When I placed my order over the phone I told them my address but forgot to give my apartment number. When the delivery driver pulled up he called and asked "which apartment building are you in?" I told them the number and out of nowhere he rudely said "can you next time provide more information!?" just this guys tone of voice really ticked me off just over a small mistake. Pizza is not good although their appetizers are. Unfortunately, that don't get our business anymore as my household has had their card numbers stollen a total of three times. We've given this place many many chances but they just keep making it perfectly clear that they don't care if people go there or not, if they are happy or not.... they flat out just don't care... It makes sense to believe, the carelessness they have toward customer service or just performing the basic parts of their jobs and the business as a whole, probably carries over to the level of effort they put into the food they are making for the general public as well. So with that in mind I can't in good conscious order from this place ever again. Absolutely horrible experiences time and time again. Done. This is our go-to place when we need to order a pizza for the kids, or for that post-party snack for the stragglers. They have an absolutely huge party pizza, and prompt delivery service. They even saved the day last New Year's Eve when we made the mistake of ordering Chinese (but that's another story altogether). Just to be clear, I'm really not a fan of greek-style pizza. It is heavy, and fatty, and leaves you ready for a nap. But this style of pizza is the only kind anyone around here makes , and of the various options, Northeast is the best of them. read more

Don't ever bother eating here. In 4 years, they have NEVER gotten an order right. Additionally, they will find an excuse to deny your Belly points no matter what you are attempting to redeem. Hours dont line up, everytime I call they dont answer. Its run by a bunch of stoned teenagers, who I doubt you want making your food because it's usually undercooked, and they cant seem to figure out how to cut a pizza never mind picking up the phone to take your order or even so much as cooking it. Worst pizza place in barre, go to red tomato or barre pizza. At least ADULTS run the place and cook your food and MAYBE care about your experience or food quality. Pizzas are on the small side with minimal ingredients but they do have a good crust and satisfies in a pinch.

One of our favorite go to places. Food is good, prices are reasonable, takeout is easy but so is eating in. Menu selection should meet most expectations and is affordable. Salad size is generous and can easily feed two people. Love the House special pizza. read more

We used to order from them once a week. Always delivery. The last time we ordered, after an hour the girl called me back to confirm the address. The driver went to the wrong TOWN. not 5 minutes later she called again to see what it was that we ordered. We then received a 3rd call from the driver who could not find the house. He had driven past it. The food was cold and they forgot a pizza. I usually pay with a credit card. I put $0 for the bottom line and did not sign. I wrote a note to the owner to call us to discuss as we should not have to pay for cold pizza. Never received a phone call. Worst of all, the staff charged my credit card anyways. Probably never even gave the note to the owner. Really disappointed but will not be ordering from them. Will find another pizza place that delivers and cares about their customers and their reputation. read more

I just wish they didn't shut down the grill at 930. They advertise to be open till 10pm but when I order a steak n cheese they say sorry the grills off. So then you should close at 930pm and not say 10pm. Some people like me work till 9pm and in the town of Barre you can't get food after 9pm it seems. False advertising. This has to be one of the most careless delivery pizza places, merely running off of the 'only choice in town' scenario to stay afloat I've ever encountered. The food is mediocre on their best nights but the service is appalling in the way that it has zero concern for customer acquisition. It's been numerous times that they refuse to deliver up to 45 minutes before their listed closing time because 'the driver is closing up and doesn't have time' or some other similar excuse... or 'the grills are off' an hour before closing. Utter laziness is the motto. 8:40 on a Friday, and they don't want to serve a large order only a mile away because the driver wants to go home for 9... but they are 'open' till 10..? Who does the hiring here!? I suspect they pay the rent, (its Barre after all) but I have no idea how the invested owners of this place don't see the lack of concern present amongst their staff, or notice the gap in what this place could be achieving. It genuinely boggles my mind. If you want to open a pizza place and are only somewhat customer service aware, come to Barre and you could take 100% of their customers in no time flat, and serve a group of others that just simply gave up on their options. I won't even mention the multitude of times the food order, when they actually do agree to sell you some, has been totally messed up. My family gets pizza every night, we used to go to Northeast but we have decided to go elsewhere. The reason being is that when they put their turkey grinders on special they take away two slices of turkey and cheese off. My dad knows this because he asked the person taking his order because he noticed while eating it, also if you eat the pizza the next day the cheese is so orange and does not look right. We have also gone in ordered and then been forgotten about. The pizza does taste good though. read more

The smallest large grinder I have ever been served . What was supposed to be a steak and cheese was instead a sub role with 1/8 of a pound of meat . If I ate this outside it would have blown away in a light breeze . If you own a business don't let a group of college aged kids run it ! . Northeast used to be good pizza , but the last two we bought we found this icky cheese and so much of it that it hides what tomato sauce might be on the pie, and they changed the pizza dough so it is thicker and chewy, getting crunchy and has no flavor. They USED to be the best in Barre, but no more. We won't be buying another one there. read more

Arriving just before 1:00 to grab a grilled chicken salad for my lunch break, I waited almost 25 minutes. For a salad. You heard me, a salad.
