I am elderly and have a small fold up transport wheel chair that I use to go on Dr. visits. I can pick it up, fold it and place it in my trunk or back seat. Leonards has never had any problem with putting it in the back of a vehicle. Until today. FYI - the driver, a woman sent to pick me up, absolutely refused to take my little wheel chair. I offered to put it in the vehicle myself and she wouldn't let me. So I was left, stuck, and unable to go to the Dr. until the man who takes the calls fixed me up with a ride. I was late, but luckily the Dr. still took me. So if you have a transport chair make sure the driver will take it so you don't get stuck too.

RIP-OFF Horrible company…read more Worst transportation company, and customer service is horrible. If you try changing your travel day, even in case of an emergency, they will take half of your money, no apologies, they don't care for the customers, only about money. Also, none of the busses they show on their site are the real thing, they only use little, uncomfortable vans. RIP-OFF

When they're good, they're great. I have to say that first. I've rode with them a bunch of times…read moreand things were great, the car was clean, the driver was friendly. Most of the time, the driver was even early. But, then there were a few bad times. Three to be exact. On three different occasions, they didn't show up at all, and I missed my doctor appointments. On two of the occasions, I was able to call once I realized they weren't coming and reschedule with my doctor, but when I called North Country Transportation to inquire about the ride, no one answered any of the times. I left voice mails on these days, including today, when they didn't show, and no one responded. I sent a text to the number, and on the days they didn't show up, no one responded. I waited and kept trying to contact them until there were only fifteen minutes to get to my appointment and then had to reschedule with my doctor and they still didn't show at all. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming, and I have to believe after this happening a few times that they knew they weren't going to come. Because on most occasions when I had a ride set up with them, if I sent a text, someone replied pretty quickly. Or, if I left a voice mail, someone would text me back. But on all of the occasions where they didn't show, no one responded at all to either. The ride was set up to be one hour before the appointment. That's plenty of time, and it's pretty poor practice for a business to just not show up, and not respond to communications. It's not even like I was impolite or angry or anything when I left a message about it. I was polite and just inquiring whether someone was coming. No response. If you miss three doctor appointments in a year, a lot of doctors will stop seeing you, so I can't afford to take a chance on these guys anymore. I'm sure they don't care, but if they keep doing this to people, they probably won't be around for long.

Our guests were staying in various BNB's and hotels in the area and we were able to create a schedule with the company and have them pick up our guests at various locations. When we booked them, we had them for 24 hours, which is un-heard of! They stayed during the whole wedding into the wee hours of the night, bringing guests home as they were ready to leave. At one point (between the reception and after-party) there was a bit of a pile up of guests waiting to get home, but I think that is a fair price to pay so that no one is drinking and driving - and it was free (for the guests). Our guests also mentioned that they were very pleasant to ride with and interacted with them nicely. I highly recommend this company!
