Prices for rental are reasonable and the staff there did a great job of working with us every step of the way. And thank you again for making sure we had a working keg-orator on site! We really enjoyed the scenery there, and our guests had nothing but compliments of how beautiful the place was. The little barn for the cocktail hour was an absolute hit! Everone loved the boat-bar and the decorum of the space, really a neat little area for folks to hang out and enjoy! Without a doubt if we had to do it all over again, we would have no hesitation to book with you! For those who are looking for a place where they do EVERYTHING for you, this is not that kind of place, nor should it be. They do lots of the heavy lifting for you though, thats for sure. But you'll have to do the set up yourselves unless you want hire people to do it for you (ala wedding planner style). And you'll also have to provide your own alcohol permit for the day of your party. Not a big deal, you can get that online through NYS pretty easy, even from being out of state its not a hassle at all. The one drawback, is that there's NO Air Conditioning in the place. And when its hot out, that place can get pretty hot! For years, September months in the Fingerlakes were cooler. But these past few years its been getting hotter and hotter. Our wedding day it was in the mid 80's and muggy so it made it a bit unbearable to be in the back room area (where the band is). When the sun went down, it got a bit cooler, but it was still hot overall in the bldg. If the folks @ CM read this, that is one recommendation I would make - invest in a solid Central Air system for your hall; a system that you could possibly let people rent (in addition) for their party, or just charge a little extra for each party booked. Also, your A/C units in the rental houses on the property are sub-standard. Again, small investment which would make a huge difference for your guests. So for those of you looking for a beautiful, quaint, and overall enjoyable place to hold any kind of celebration, I would strongly recommend Chantelle Marie! Thank You Again! Geoff & Jenny

Looking over the lake provided a glorious view. The bar is a perfect set up! The reception hall was large, open and airy and at no time felt crowded. Again the food was delicious! Based on my experience, the staff were involved in theft, and despite clear video footage and other evidence, the hotel owner was fully aware of the situation yet refused to compensate for the loss or take appropriate action. We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday and had the option of dining outside on the patio or inside. We opted for inside and were promptly sat at a window table. We had a great view of the lake and the patio. It was a perfect night watching the sun set over the water. (For anyone who finds restaurant proposals to be their thing, this is definitely worth a consideration). Our waitress was on top of her game noting the specials, recommendations and quick to answer our questions. Every special sounded delicious and it was hard to choose. Our meal was absolutely delicious. We ordered the spicy lobster pasta and the chicken francaise. Huge chunks of lobster, fresh pasta and a sauce perfectly spiced. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I was a bit surprised they did not serve bread with the entree but TBH we were both stuffed after finishing our meal. There was enough leftover pasta to box up for dinner the next night. After dinner we walked out to the water and checked out the boats. Ladies, be careful where you step on the dock. Seems like the geese like it here too! The back patio is huge, and has a dedicated bar. Attire was both dressy and casual and the clientele was a mix of young and old. While being more of an upscale restaurant it has a neighborhood vibe to it. I would 100% recommend dining here! I can't say much about the inn except that the building itself is beautiful. Our waitress suggested we come back to try one of their homemade desserts. Judging from our first dining experience that will happen very soon

We sat outside, and something about the property and the view genuinely reminded me of sitting at the Corleone compound in The Godfather in the best possible way. It's a gorgeous place to have dinner right on the water. Service was, however, very slow, but they were also extremely busy and I want to make it clear that we didn't blame our waitress at all. She was excellent. She was friendly, attentive when she could be, and did a great job considering how busy everything was. The food was good, but a little inconsistent. My swordfish was slightly overcooked, and my friend's NY strip was as well. Dessert, however, was excellent. We had the chocolate mousse and coconut pie, and both were great. Our biggest disappointment was that they were out of both Heady Topper and Focal Banger despite having them listed on the menu. We understand those beers are difficult to keep in stock and tend to sell out, but their availability was actually one of the reasons we chose to come here for dinner. If they're regularly unavailable, it might make more sense to list them as a rotating or availability dependent offering rather than a standard menu item. Despite those issues, we still enjoyed ourselves. The beautiful setting, excellent waitress, desserts, and overall atmosphere made for a really nice evening. With a slightly better execution on the food and a more accurate beer list, this could easily have been a five star experience.
