So how do you get from Syracuse to Ithaca (and back) if you don't have a car? That's where Ithaca Airline Limousine comes in! Call (800) 273-9197 to make reservations. Make them at least 48 hrs in advanced. 24 hrs ahead cancellation is allowed. They run 7 days a week at selection departure times. See their site for more info. From Syracuse to Ithaca (or reverse) is $70 each way or $105 round trip. Credit cards are accepted! To Ithaca, they will take you from the airport to your door, unless your destination is Cornell. If that is the case, they have designated North and West campus drop off points. The vans are comfortable and allow two standard luggage per person.

I had booked Cornell's bus service several months in advance, and I took the options which worked best with my flights from Syracuse. A week before my flight, they decided to cancel my bus because they felt like there weren't enough people on it to make it worthwhile. That forced me to look for another option to get to Syracuse while dealing with finals and projects. I called ticketing services to get my refund and they seemed really hesitant to speak to me. Since I couldn't find a ride, and a taxi would have been too costly, I decided to go with the Airport Limo. It's significantly more expensive than Cornell's bus but I found their service to be much better. I called them and they made it really easy to book a ride, and you can pay in cash when you get picked up. They also give you a courtesy call in the morning to let you know how soon they'll be at your stop (10-15 minutes before they arrive), which was pretty nice since I was getting picked up at 7am. They also offer more time options than Cornell's service so you may find one that works better for your flights. I still had my return ticket from Syracuse with the Cornell bus so I was able to see the differences. It's basically the same bus ride but the airport limo has much nicer staff checking you in and handling your luggage. Overall, I'd recommend you get the airport limo if you have early flights. It sounds like Cornell isn't afraid to just cancel on you at the last minute if they don't find a certain bus to be profitable enough, but the airport limo seems willing to work at any time.

All i wanted was to rent a limo for a Bachelor party. i was trying to give this business my money!…read more i was coming from out of state. so after researching the area, i requested quotes from a few limo places and All American Limousine was the least expensive, by far. so i decided to give them my business. the price and everything included was great. almost too good to be true compared to other quotes in the area. i was just about to whip out my credit card and call him with my payment until he told me he wanted to send a contract via snail mail *after* i made my deposit. All i asked, was to have a contract emailed so i can sign it, scan it, and return it before any money exchanged hands. that's just how i do it in my line of business! but he absolutely insisted i give him a "non refundable" deposit before i read or signed a contract. this means when he gets my deposit, he can change the quoted price afterwards; he can change anything that was agreed to and i can't do anything to get my money back. we emailed back and fourth for 3 weeks and i got nowhere, as he kept refusing to issue a contract unless i gave him money up front. Eventually he sent a copy of what his contract would look like., but nothing was filled out, not the price, not a signature... not anything. just his companies header and blank lines. it seemed extremely shady! after growing tired with frustration, i called him only to leave a voice mail and to get no call back. then i get an email saying i waited "too long" and that he booked the limo for a prom. when it was I who was the one waiting for him!! so now, after a 3 week headache, i have nothing to show for it. i guess i am just going to have to contact someone else. unless you enjoy games and unprofessionalism, i wouldnt recommend All American Limousine. not at all

Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR. Most of the time, the driver was even early. But, then there were a few bad times. Three to be exact. On three different occasions, they didn't show up at all, and I missed my doctor appointments. On two of the occasions, I was able to call once I realized they weren't coming and reschedule with my doctor, but when I called North Country Transportation to inquire about the ride, no one answered any of the times. I left voice mails on these days, including today, when they didn't show, and no one responded. I sent a text to the number, and on the days they didn't show up, no one responded. I waited and kept trying to contact them until there were only fifteen minutes to get to my appointment and then had to reschedule with my doctor and they still didn't show at all. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming, and I have to believe after this happening a few times that they knew they weren't going to come. Because on most occasions when I had a ride set up with them, if I sent a text, someone replied pretty quickly. Or, if I left a voice mail, someone would text me back. But on all of the occasions where they didn't show, no one responded at all to either. The ride was set up to be one hour before the appointment. That's plenty of time, and it's pretty poor practice for a business to just not show up, and not respond to communications. It's not even like I was impolite or angry or anything when I left a message about it. I was polite and just inquiring whether someone was coming. No response. If you miss three doctor appointments in a year, a lot of doctors will stop seeing you, so I can't afford to take a chance on these guys anymore. I'm sure they don't care, but if they keep doing this to people, they probably won't be around for long.
