I was in Ithaca flying to CA when the Canadian fires created a mess with the NE USA. Instead of flying through Newark I changed my itinerary to fly out of Syracuse about 6pm that night. Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR. He was prompt, drive quite well, and arrived with a clean car. I want to thank Christopher to kick off my day on time to help me finally get back home. We frequently have very early flights for work. Pickups via one of the rideshare services are impossible to get at 4 or 5am. CCS was immediately responsive less than 24 hours before pickup. We got a quote and invoice within 15 minutes. 4am on the day of our flight they were at our house not just on time but early! Friendly, courteous safe driver. Reliable transportation to the airport during odd times is almost impossible to find in Syracuse but CCS was there for us and fulfilled everything they said they would! 10/10 recommend! read more

Just avoid this company, expensive asf and not very friendly, the guy over the phone insisted that from one place to another that's a 7 min drive regular came out to be a little over $185 and it's 4 something per mile and it's only 3.3 miles apart, so tell me where that math is mathing lol! We also had her for a return call and by explaining the time of the return situation she arrived early to make sure we did not have to wait so long for our ride home. My wife two little kids and I were just abandoned at the Syracuse airport by CCS Transportation. We reserved their car service from Syracuse to Endicott this morning and our flight arrived 15min late and upon communicating this slight delay when landing our family picked up our bags and walked outside and the car service left to "pick up other customers" we were told. CCS mgmt then calls me and illustrates they are going to refund my half my money. Before I get a lawyer involved what the Yelp community think of this behavior ? read more

On 3/14/23, the day of the storm, I had to take my cat to the vet for surgery. Unable to drive myself, Chris was the only service I could get. Not at 7:30 in the morning in the middle of a snow storm. Uber and Lyft are useless. After the surgery, with the storm much worse. Again Chris was on time. Everything went very well. I couldn't have done it without Chris. I would definitely recommend C.C.S. Transportation. read more

It was easy to schedule the trip and I had no objection to the proposed fare. If you use this company, BE SURE TO FORMALLY AGREE THAT THE DRIVER WILL WAIT FOR THE AIRPLANE TO LAND AND FOR THE PASSENGERS TO DISEMBARK. I gave Chris the flight number, United Airlines 1552, which was supposed to arrive in Syracuse at 11:30 PM on 12/23. UA delayed the flight to a 12:30 AM 12/24 arrival and I let Chris know via Yelp. The plane was further delayed and did not land until 1:09 AM on 12/24. Chris said that the driver left at 1:00 AM, thus stranding my college student that night at the Syracuse airport. Chris said that the driver called the student's cellphone, and it went right to voicemail. Apparently, the driver did not understand that cellphone use was prohibited on this portion of the flight. Via Yelp, I asked Chris why the driver did not look at the airport's large screen of flight arrival times and know that it would be arriving within minutes. I did not receive a response to that question. read more

Below one star. After arranging 3 hours in advance for a post-midnight pickup at the airport for my 22 year old daughter who was arriving later after multiple thunder storms delayed her flight by more than 3 hours enoute from our home in Atlanta to Syracuse, Chris at CCS transportation said that they could take the fare. Chris agreed to get her, quoted us not only the usual rate ($45) but after hours fees ($30) plus a waiting fee ($30) if needed (all fine with me since it was late -- and WAY cheaper than in Atlanta!). I agreed to all, expected to tip well given the hour, and gave Chris the Delta flight number so that she could track the flight as well (usual for airport pickups). At 1:30 am Chris sent a text "your transportation has arrived." Well, at 2am in the morning, just as my daughter was landing (delayed due to storms) Chris wrote us a text -- "hey I wanted to give you the heads up that I am taking off" -- when texted or called, Chris did not answer and eventually texted back after multiple calls "sorry for the late notice the reason why I just had a family situation." Chris' "heads up" text did not reflect this. This left my daughter stranded at the SYR airport at 2:30 in the morning. Luckily I found another service in the middle of the night that was great. When I followed up today during daylight Chris was abrasive and accused me of being irresponsible (their words- "I'm disgusted of you what type of mother would let their young child or daughter as you say what travel at 1:30 at night you use common sense"...."you should have did you mother duties and got up and got your daughter") for letting my daughter travel at that time (and called me Karen). I of course would understand an emergency, but that was not conveyed in her "hey I am taking off" text. Hmmmmm. 3 hour airline delay beyond my control. I travel frequently for business, always tip more than 20%, and use driver services who ALWAYS check airline times and communicate. Wow -- irresponsible, potentially dangerous and just plain mean. Worse than unreliable. DO NOT USE. Had Chris said they do not pick up after midnight I would have simply moved on, or said they had an emergency "heads up, taking off" -- hmmmph -- I would be very understanding. **My entire issue (besides the abrasive texts today) was lack of communication, leaving the airport without a call, instead only a super vague text, and leaving my daughter to find a different mode of transportation in the middle of the night. read more

We were returning to Syracuse from Alaska and our flights were scrambled by delays and other changes, causing us to have an arrival time close to midnight. Surprisingly, Syracuse is lacking in 24-hour taxi services. After trying half-a-dozen other places that refused to come to the airport that late (including those touting themselves as 24-hour services), we got a hold of C.C.S Transportation and Chris. The business is professional, timely and very communicative. Everything was straightforward and clear in what expectations were. The fare was pricey due to the time of night (to downtown, $70 = $45 fare + $25 off-hours), but, given our hectic situation and experience, worth it. read more
