If you care about customer service, read on. We unfortunately had a very bad experience with this company. We heard about them at the Bridal Show at the fair in January and had kept them in mind to book for our bridal party transportation (one 16 passenger bus) from Fayetteville (where our church is) to Oneida (where our venue is). This is a 25 minute drive. My fiance first spoke with the owner last week and then yesterday and was quoted $1250 for this trip. When he called to book today, the owner said he was busy and to call his assistant Terry. My fiance called Terry and told her the quoted price that was given to us BY THE OWNER, Joe. Terry literally berated my fiance and told him that "no way that is the price because it's outside the area". She told us it would be $1550. She was extremely condescending and literally laughed at my fiance. We cannot believe that this person would be working with customers. My fiance told Terry that the owner had quoted him this price and he just wanted to book it, she literally refused to honor what the owner told us. I'm sorry, but that's just a gross way to deal with clients. I don't know if the owner made a mistake but if so that is not the way it should be handled. We ended up booking someone else just now, so Terry lost them our business. I will be telling all my friends who are getting married this year and next in the area to AVOID this place. I rented a limo for my wedding from American and everything was great. The driver was incredibly nice and helpful. I had a massive ball gown and she was very helpful with getting it in the bus. She went above and beyond for me and my dress, the ceremony was at the Rose Garden in Thornden Park, and she fluffed up my dress before I walked down the aisle. The limo was on time and the driver knew exactly where she was going with our pick ups and stops. It was a great experience. read more

I called the office someone texted me separately so I thought I was working with this person I left a voicemail to book the limo then followed up with a text. They replied they would call me tomorrow for payment. I never received a phone call so I replied to the text. They booked the limo in between. I'm so disappointed in this place read more

We had limousine driver Mike and he was really cool, amazing and fun! He was easy-going, smiley and patient. I've been in limos before but this was my first time in a hummer stretch limo. We fit around 12 people in ours but could probably get away with 2 more. Getting in and out was a little difficult (and would be more difficult if you're wearing a short dress) because the ceiling inside is low and you have to climb in and out. Mike helped us all get out. He was a safe driver and allowed us to connect our music to the aux cable. You can control the volume and A/C from the back. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the limo ceiling lights. We took the limo to Seneca Lake for wine tastings and it was pretty seamless. They have a plastic container in the back where you can put all of your empty beer bottles/glasses. Inside there are cup holders made for wine glasses, beer bottles or even shot glasses. They also have a small cooler built inside with ice so you can chill your champagne/drink. I read in another review that they weren't allowed to eat inside but we were able to eat inside just fine. We had chips, sandwiches and jerky. read more

If there was a way to give a zero I would. Our limo broke down and CAUGHT ON FIRE Saturday during a wine tour. This was after smoke was coming in the window hours before, and the driver was missing turns because he couldn't slow down. There was clearly something wrong with the brakes. We (13 of us) had to immediately evacuate the limo and had to get picked up in 3 different vehicles by friends and family after being stuck on the side of the road in 90 degrees for an hour. I had to call American Limo this morning - nobody reached out to me. I was told by the manager, Joe, they the job was "95% complete" and he would compensate me for the other 5%. My client was unable to make her connection do to the airlines delay and even though I called in plenty of time and spoke to Dispatch not to send driver they still charged my client $299.00. Paid $270 for a one hour transport from the Syracuse Airport. Climate control malfunctioned in car which froze the passenger. Owner refused to issue any credit saying despite the freezing conditions, the system did work BEFORE the pick up so it wasn't their fault. Limo driver was nice and the car appeared to be in good shape. Limo service said the car would fit 16, but it barely fit 13 people in it (9 of which were small/average sized women). On the way to our destination, the back tires of the car were smoking every time the brakes were hit. Driver went through several stop signs and claimed it was due to the weight in the vehicle. We were about 20 minutes from home when there was a serious issue with the rear driver side tire. We were going at what seemed to be the state speed limit down a hill and it sounded like the tire had popped. It ended up being be an issue with the wheel nearly falling off the car. Luckily the car came to a stop and no one was seriously hurt. Driver behind us said something flew off the car and started smoking (she called 911) The driver was able to get everyone out of the vehicle and put the fire where the tire nearly fell off the car (kudos for that). We were stranded on the side of the road for at least 30 minutes and had to find our own ride home. It seemed the car was faulty and the driver knew it. The owner of the company did not contact us to apologize or offer any sort of refund. We actually had to call two days after the incident and were only offered a refund of 5% of what we had paid because the job was "95% complete." I would definitely look for another limousine company if you are in the Syracuse area. read more
