DO NOT BRING ANYTHING HERE! I brought a snow blower in for service. It had old gas left in it and wouldn't start. I also asked to have it looked over to see if there was anything else that needed to be addressed. I asked that they call with an estimate before doing any work. They said sure and said it would be 2-3 weeks. My first check-in call was in 2 weeks later and was told that they hadn't looked at it yet. My second call was a week later, still not done! On the third call at least I found out that they were looking at it. So far they had my snow blower a little more that a month. One week later I called again and was told it was done and the bill was $265. I asked why I wasn't called with an estimate and was told we only do that if it exceeds $300. I explained that I asked to be told before doing any work. They said that I signed off on the work order so they are within their rights. I showed them that on both of our copies there was no signature! I would not have OK'd the work and put that much into it. In the end, they removed the new auger assembly they said it needed and reduced the bill to $99. We paid only later to find out that the work they did, like dry gas, spark plug and lubricant should have been a $20-$25 job. Also, that it could have use a set of new paddles for around $40 not an entire assembly. All of that made for one horrible experience! 2 weeks later, we had 3 inches of snow. Ten minutes into it's first use it overheated and the engine seized. They were mad about removing the auger and while doing that work, they also drain the lubricant. Now I'm out 1 snowblower! The back up for service here is like 3 weeks in the spring. Even if you want to get your lawnmower blade sharpened, they won't even look at it for 3 weeks. Seems like they could have a different queue for super quick jobs. But, on my latest visit, the mechanic came out the car, looked at the mower for a minute, suggested an easy fix, and I didn't even have to leave the thing. That was honest, and good service. Back on February 28 of this year my Toro Snowblower was picked up at my home for service. After paying over $300.00 without authorization by me, not a phone call, email, or text, the snowblower was brought back to my home, unit was dry. And when the unit was returned to me they didn't even try to start it...I asked the gentleman if there was fuel in it....I wanted him to start it...his response was it is dry and ready for storage....Now why would you set the unit up for storage with a storm coming....ugh.....I put the proper oil/gas mixture 50:1 in. It's now 3 hours later and the snowblower won't start....ugh......I am a 64 year old widow, with a snowstorm of up to 8 inches coming in....I am not a happy person right now....First of all instead of spending over $300.00 to repair this snowblower I would have purchased a new one.....So here I sit with a useless snowblower. and approx. 8" of snow coming........and tomorrow I'll be shoveling again.......They will get a phone call in the AM from me........ The concept of customer service is "service". I have experience with both snow blower problems and lawn mower problems, both are less than one star but you need something to post. One story although all are bad my snow thrower was old so I brought it in for a tune up and service, Ariens has belts for the impeller OK repaired NO. The starting required me to pull the plug and use starting fluid OK lasted a few years the problem is the plug is steel and the head aluminum it striped the threads so I purchased another one and gave it to a local repair shop by my cabin in Pa the owner repaired my chain saw and was a good guy. I was in the shop and "No charge" for my chains? Why well it seems that the start problem was an oversized screw on the choke so it would not start, Jack the owner welded the plug in and changed the screw and sold it for $$ being nice he refused to charge me for any service and parts for over a year until I asked him to stop. The town would have taken the old machine away but several restrictions, instead he sold it a made a few bucks. But where did the oversize screw come from you guess? Remember the problem started with a tune up and the wait time well as I say if you are too busy I will help by going someplace else. read more

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered in any business. I have a business that runs 100% on generator power. I dropped off one of my generators for repair on a Friday asking for a quote to repair it, explaining clearly that this was a critical part of my business and I needed it asap. I was told that they would call me with a quote. By Monday morning I hadn't heard anything so I called them back. I was very calm, but very urgent as I needed the generator by Mon evening in order to operate my business. I was basically told by the very irritated technician that it will take him an unknown amount of time to "look up" the amount of time it will take (btw, we both knew EXACTLY what the problem was with the generator). He suggested I call another repair shop, which I did. But now I'd lost a full 2-3 working days (which costs me more than the cost of the generator!). So I called around but nobody was open or could do the work. So, clearly, I just chose to bite the bullet and have these guys just do the job. I called again and the same technician just told me he was getting really pissed off that I was calling so much (twice) and that he didn't even WANT to do the job anymore and I should just come in and get my generator. I just feel SO SCREWED by these guys! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Called them in August and spoke to the Lady, got me added to a list. She told me to followup at a certain date. I called and she said, you are still on the list and gave me another date. This happened at least 3 to four times. During my most recent call with her, this most abnoxious women in the world told me that me calling her is delaying the entire customer base as it stops her from writing up work orders. She said she was being nice by giving me a date to follow-up and told me to take my Snowblower somehwere else. After months of having me chase these guys, i was simply told to go somewhere else. All i said was "Great customer service" and you know what Lady.. if you are think you are nice.. you are absolutely delusional! I would NOT recommend anyone to take their business to these people who don't care about their customers. I would rather go somewhere else. bottom line.. Terrible Terrible people! read more
