While working with Edith I noticed that she likes to keep things clean and organized. I did everything Edith told me to do as I was still training and learning. While training she always just expected me to know what i was doing after telling her i had no knowledge about flowers. Edith told me that she was going to put me on payroll and never asked for any information or documents. My first week of pay i worked she told me she was going to check the cameras to see when i came in and out of the store to pay me. On my pay day she didnt know anything about the hours she kept claiming "i cant afford this" So u will be working less hours. Fine. She was very hard to work with because communication doesn't exist to her. Edith also owns another store called Jus tacos where I have seen her be mean and yell at certain employees whom don't stand up for themselves. Edith did mention to me one time that her worker in Jus Tacos lacks common sense and that he doesn't listen. KEEP IN MIND THIS MAN HAS WORKED UNDER JUS TACOS SINCE THE SHOP OPENED. Just because you're a boss of the area doesn't give you an excuse to speak to anyone however you want. Theres always produce out in the open as-well Ive seen it coming in the restaurant when it's not open yet.My reason for quitting was because on Monday March 31, 2025 i did not work. Edith worked that day in Garden of Edith. I came in Tuesday April 1st to a mess. Stems on the floor. Dawn dish soap spilled in the sink. Vases in the sink. Flowers that were supposed to be in the cooler were not put away. I sent her a video as I didn't know why it was so messy. Edith called me asking what was it i sent her and i told her theres a mess here from yesterday. Edith said "yes i was busy yesterday so clean it". Edith hung up and i texted her "I know you're busy but i dont leave a mess for you to clean either so i expect the same " Edith called me over the phone saying "Excuse me? Excuse me Im the manager and im paying you to clean it." Which even if the was the case I WAS NOT PRESENT MONDAY! Had she texted letting me know i was entering into a mess i would have been okay. Even a note when i entered work.I couldn't speak or say anything because she was just yelling over the phone saying thats why shes paying me and she kept repeating im the boss she expressed that I was having an attitude with her and she said she doesnt think this is going to work which i agreed with her and left the store in a polite manner. I was raised correctly I would never get out of character as thats not the person I am. Its a shame Edith was very nasty not seeing her own issues. I never expected to be attacked. i wouldn't recommend ANYONE working with her no one should ever get yelled at for simply communicating.It's just very unprofessional overall it's really a shame people like Edith become managers not only to one area but 2. I wouldn't recommend working under Edith. As a manager when you run a store the same rules should also go to the manager it's no excuse and its COMMON SENSE. Edith you are the representation of your stores you must upkeep your stores just like your workers do! As for the text messages im posting it was of me asking for my money if im not on payroll she can easily say i did not work those hours and not have given me my pay. I did not demand my money as on Tuesday my shift would have ended at 4 pm so obviously i get paid the end of the day. The proof is there. I have never lied or been disrespectful to her or given her attitude. Hence I kept it with my other plants and in the next few days all my plants had spider mites. I have my herbs growing since 2 years with no problem and lost the harvest to the spider mites. Unfortunately I did not realize this sooner. I got medication, watered the plant and spent hours everyday trying to clean each leaf of every plant I not only spent over a 100$ on those plants that didn't last but it killed some of my existing plants (4 to be precise).

My biggest gripe with this place is the parking lot... I know that they build whatever they can with whatever land they are able to get, but it is a very awkward property, and driving through it is weird. They also have tons of speed bumps that are super super SUPER annoying on the south entrance/exit. Other than that my other gripe is staffing... They never have enough staff. They have to call people and you have to wait sometimes 5 or more minutes for someone to help you with something. Like purchasing paint, or cutting carpet, etc... They also have cut down on checkout cashiers, and there is a 20+ person line every time... Other than that, they always have everything that I need. I usually go for generic or simple things like a toilet seat, or door knobs. Things that they should have 200 of at each store lol! Never had any issues finding anything that I needed. I highly recommend downloading their App! It is extremely accurate! It will tell you the aisle, section, and most of the time shelf that an item is located on.
