This florist gets 5-stars across the board! We just placed an order yesterday after hours and it was delivered today!!! We are based in California and needed a flower arrangement for a friend in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. We had no idea who to call. So we found Rosaspina on Yelp and I totally get why they have so many 5-Star ratings. Here's my experience: * Service: They feature a comprehensive online ordering tool that was super easy to use -- especially if you want to place an order after their normal business hours. We received great communication as to our order status, too. I live in California and wanted a florist local to one of my friends in Montclair, NJ to create something wonderful for her. I'm always a little tentative to order like this without having a personal review from someone that I know in the area, however, this business had absolutely beautiful options online and nice reviews to support. Highly recommend! I worked with Lindsey for my wedding and she bought my idea to life and made it even better. Her flowers were so beautiful and radiant. The Queensland tulip from Holland was the best! When working with Lindsey we told her we wanted variety of colors and flowers. Lindsey was so straightforward and didn't sugarcoat anything. She didn't give any false promises. She gave us a large range of flowers she thinks would be available during the season. We only needed to meet Lindsey two times, which was the initial meeting and the week before to finalize the flowers. Wow! I contacted this florist after looking at photos on Google for all the florists in town. I wanted to send Thank you flowers and I live out of state so that's all I could do.......I avoid the internet ordering sites because I believe they take too much $$ from small businesses. I called Rosapina directly and asked for an arrangement that was on their site because it was beautiful and contained no filler type flowers (baby's breath and carnations for example). She said that arrangement had been for a wedding but she could get really close to it in a different vase. She also assured me they didn't even have "filler flowers." Well, it was beautiful! I asked her to text a photo upon completion and she did. I also thought the price was good for the quality and beauty of the arrangement. I cant recommend this place enough. My fiancé and I placed an order for a couple centerpieces and one large vase arrangement for our small engagement party. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my wedding flowers from Rosaspina. I was referred by another florist in Montclair who wasn't able to do my wedding, and what a happy accident, I found Lindsey. She and I chatted about my vision and needs for a bit and I could tell she got me. She gave me a very reasonable quote and I hired her right away. A couple of weeks later I dropped by her shop and it was so beautiful, I could tell her style was right in line with mine. She is an artist and creates beautiful things. I arrived at the church where I was getting married and Lindsey had already dropped off the flowers. They were stunning. All I had envisioned and more. With my tight budget she wasn't sure if she would be able to get all of the fancy flowers I liked, but in the end my bouquets were more beautiful than any I had seen in the magazines or on Pinterest. Just perfect. I later learned she had helped my husband and his groomsmen with their boutonnières. And had also met my cake baker earlier to arrange the cake flowers. Absolutely above and beyond. All I can say is SUPERB service from start to finish. I called from Rhode Island to have some flowers delivered same day to my best friend in New Jersey for her birthday. I first left a voicemail and in no time they called me back. They helped me pick out color of flowers and size. The flowers I ordered were disappointing. The blue vase in the photo was replaced with a cheap clear vase and they charged me 40.00 of service and delivery fees when the site said it was free shipping. The flowers were okay, but should have cost half as much since one of the two iris was wilting. For 70.00 I thought there would be more than two lilies in the bouquet. I took a chance on this florist. I wouldn't say it was my worst ever experience, but when I called to ask them about this they couldn't find the order and would not try to correct the over charge. Rosaspina is new to Montclair but owner and designer Lindsey is no stranger to design or flowers. The name Rosaspina is the Italian name for the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty (Briar Rose). The name is a reflection of Lindsey's passion for both the romantic culture and language of Italy and the origins, nostalgia, and fantasy of fairy tales - themes which inspire her custom florals and designs

Meet the Business Owner: Lindsey V.

Lindsey has been admiring the beauty all around her and creating her own fantasies for as long as she can remember. Growing up surrounded by a family of artists, she has had a lifetime of preparation for all manner of creative challenges. Having obtained an MFA in theatrical design from Carnegie Mellon, Lindsey has over 10 years experience in creating unique spaces and artistic designs for the theater. But it is Lindsey's love of bringing new fantasies to life and being surrounded by the beauty of nature that lead her from theater into florals and events. After receiving her floral design certificate from Flower School NY, Lindsey worked with some of NYC's most-prestigious florists before venturing out on her own to open Rosaspina.

I understand that not every florist is able to precisely match the arrangement assigned by Teleflora but I do feel that it should come remotely close especially to the value of the arrangement ordered. Fortunately, after several calls to Teleflora (and tweets) I was able to get this situation ironed out. However, George from Conqui Design's business acumen is downright deplorable- how is this place still in business?? Especially with all the great florists in this area. He had first told us to call Teleflora and cancel the order and seemed apologetic for shorting us on the arrangement. THEN, he has someone call to come and pick up the flowers the next day? We call him back to figure out what was going on and he tells my mom that he "wants nothing to do with us and to throw the flowers in the garbage," which we did, because his sloppy design was garbage to begin with. Thankfully, Montclair Florist swooped in to save the (Mother's) day! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! I can't even imagine dealing with them for a larger event... and I most certainly would recommend that you save yourself the time, trouble, and disrespect.

The order was actually mixed up because the DoorDash driver who delivered them gave the wrong flowers to our client. I checked out their website and was impressed with what I saw. Their unique and creative arrangements along with their reviews on Yelp caught my . I hopped on line and ordered an arrangement on Thursday evening after the store was closed. The flowers were delivered the following afternoon. My mom LOVES the flowers. Buyer beware! Please see photos. The photo on the left is what is pictured on the website and the…read morephoto on the left is what was received ($158 for approximately eight flowers). They said that I did not read the descriptions and what is pictured is the large version and that I agreed to substitutions for the flowers. He said they need to make substitutions because some of the flowers are seasonal and not available. He also said since I picked a cheaper version they had to use less novelty flowers to stay in the price point. If they could not duplicate what is shown on the website in a smaller version, then the picture should be removed or I should have been notified. I chose the arrangement because it was unusual, whimsy and had a spring flare . You are better off to take your chances with an FTD arrangement.
