I ordered flowers online the day before I needed them. I know, a little late but I gave it a shot. I knew I was pushing my luck. The selection was plentiful and prices were $45+, depending on size. I chose the Deluxe Wild Child option which is the designers choice. I figured they would make something amazing. I left a note for the florist that the recipient loves bright colors, roses, and exotic flower to help with the decision. I'm in a different time zone and the day was passing by without an update. I gave Rosaspina a call and the knew exactly my order, was very pleasant on the phone, and was also eager to celebrate. I was told a photo of the flowers would be sent to me as well. The flowers were delivered an hour or so later. I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the flowers turned out to be a piece of art. Absolutely stunning! A bright birthday bouquet that was perfect. I loved the detailed email updates, the studio photo of the creation, and the delivery was wonderful. The flowers came in a stylish square vase. Cost: $58 for standard, $115 for deluxe, and $173 for premium. $20 for hand delivery. I left a $10 tip for their excellent service. This local florist in Montclair, NJ is top tier. I purchased a just because arrangement for my young niece and the staff at Rosaspina did a great job. I appreciated that a photo of the arrangement was sent to me and that my approval of the quality seemed to genuinely matter to the florist. This florist gets 5-stars across the board! We just placed an order yesterday after hours and it was delivered today!!! We are based in California and needed a flower arrangement for a friend in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. We had no idea who to call. So we found Rosaspina on Yelp and I totally get why they have so many 5-Star ratings. Here's my experience: * Service: They feature a comprehensive online ordering tool that was super easy to use -- especially if you want to place an order after their normal business hours. We received great communication as to our order status, too. I live in California and wanted a florist local to one of my friends in Montclair, NJ to create something wonderful for her. I'm always a little tentative to order like this without having a personal review from someone that I know in the area, however, this business had absolutely beautiful options online and nice reviews to support. Highly recommend! I worked with Lindsey for my wedding and she bought my idea to life and made it even better. Her flowers were so beautiful and radiant. The Queensland tulip from Holland was the best! When working with Lindsey we told her we wanted variety of colors and flowers. Lindsey was so straightforward and didn't sugarcoat anything. She didn't give any false promises. She gave us a large range of flowers she thinks would be available during the season. We only needed to meet Lindsey two times, which was the initial meeting and the week before to finalize the flowers. Wow! I contacted this florist after looking at photos on Google for all the florists in town. I wanted to send Thank you flowers and I live out of state so that's all I could do.......I avoid the internet ordering sites because I believe they take too much $$ from small businesses. I called Rosapina directly and asked for an arrangement that was on their site because it was beautiful and contained no filler type flowers (baby's breath and carnations for example). She said that arrangement had been for a wedding but she could get really close to it in a different vase. She also assured me they didn't even have "filler flowers." Well, it was beautiful! I asked her to text a photo upon completion and she did. I also thought the price was good for the quality and beauty of the arrangement. I cant recommend this place enough. My fiancé and I placed an order for a couple centerpieces and one large vase arrangement for our small engagement party. As soon as we walked into the store I saw an arrangement one of the girls had just finished and it was exactly what I was looking for for our special day. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my wedding flowers from Rosaspina. I was referred by another florist in Montclair who wasn't able to do my wedding, and what a happy accident, I found Lindsey. She and I chatted about my vision and needs for a bit and I could tell she got me. She gave me a very reasonable quote and I hired her right away. A couple of weeks later I dropped by her shop and it was so beautiful, I could tell her style was right in line with mine. She is an artist and creates beautiful things. I arrived at the church where I was getting married and Lindsey had already dropped off the flowers. They were stunning. All I had envisioned and more. With my tight budget she wasn't sure if she would be able to get all of the fancy flowers I liked, but in the end my bouquets were more beautiful than any I had seen in the magazines or on Pinterest. Just perfect. I later learned she had helped my husband and his groomsmen with their boutonnières. And had also met my cake baker earlier to arrange the cake flowers. Absolutely above and beyond. All I can say is SUPERB service from start to finish. I called from Rhode Island to have some flowers delivered same day to my best friend in New Jersey for her birthday. I first left a voicemail and in no time they called me back. They helped me pick out color of flowers and size. The flowers I ordered were disappointing. The blue vase in the photo was replaced with a cheap clear vase and they charged me 40.00 of service and delivery fees when the site said it was free shipping. The flowers were okay, but should have cost half as much since one of the two iris was wilting. For 70.00 I thought there would be more than two lilies in the bouquet. I took a chance on this florist. I wouldn't say it was my worst ever experience, but when I called to ask them about this they couldn't find the order and would not try to correct the over charge. Rosaspina is new to Montclair but owner and designer Lindsey is no stranger to design or flowers. The name Rosaspina is the Italian name for the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty (Briar Rose). The name is a reflection of Lindsey's passion for both the romantic culture and language of Italy and the origins, nostalgia, and fantasy of fairy tales - themes which inspire her custom florals and designs

Meet the Business Owner: Lindsey V.

Lindsey has been admiring the beauty all around her and creating her own fantasies for as long as she can remember. Growing up surrounded by a family of artists, she has had a lifetime of preparation for all manner of creative challenges. Having obtained an MFA in theatrical design from Carnegie Mellon, Lindsey has over 10 years experience in creating unique spaces and artistic designs for the theater. But it is Lindsey's love of bringing new fantasies to life and being surrounded by the beauty of nature that lead her from theater into florals and events. After receiving her floral design certificate from Flower School NY, Lindsey worked with some of NYC's most-prestigious florists before venturing out on her own to open Rosaspina.

I come here often for two reasons: customer service and fair prices. A great local business that proved to me a rose can grown from concrete.

We call him back to figure out what was going on and he tells my mom that he "wants nothing to do with us and to throw the flowers in the garbage," which we did, because his sloppy design was garbage to begin with. After several visits to Brookside, this city girl that has only known concrete officially has a green thumb. The staff at Brookside are extremely helpful. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Leroy and he was able direct me to the most beautiful plants the store had to offer. He was very knowledgeable about gardening and the life spans of all of the flowers and plants. He encouraged me to make lovely pots at home. What a clever salesman. The prices were reasonable which also encouraged me to buy more. The cashier and office staff were also very cordial. This seems to be a well ran family business (I don't know, just guessing). I come here often for two reasons: customer service and fair prices. A great local business that proved to me a rose can grown from concrete.

Purchased a gift from Rosaspina through the Yelp app. After delivery, the price was kind of high but not unexpected for flower delivery. The flowers were beautiful and arrived on time, even in the horrible Mother's Day weather. Unfortunately, one of the two orchid flowers snapped in transit which was a little disappointing. The delivery person was super nice, very apologetic, and right away offered a replacement. The owner called me later to apologize, also really nice and easy to deal with. The next day they even sent over a small additional bouquet as an apology/thanks for understanding, with a really nice note, which was really appreciated. I took a chance on this florist, as they had no reviews, but I'm glad I did! The flowers looked awesome, professional (I'd definitely say they are wedding worthy), and much better than the overpriced mediocre flowers I've gotten in the past from certain websites that will not be named. You can tell they really care about what they do, and it shows in how they went above and beyond plus just how nice the flowers were put together. Honestly, **** happens, but I'm glad they made it right. I'll totally buy flowers from here again, minor mistake but great experience. read more

Rosaspina floral ain't nothing but a shit show, nothing new or interesting here. Husband bought me a flower arrangement for our anniversary, I loved it until the flowers completely died by 2 days later and saw it was $125 online. Really?! $125 for flowers that won't last more than 2 days? Coulda got them from CVS or Whole Foods and it would've lasted longer and the quality probably wouldn't have been far off either. When I called to let the store know, Ellie just said sorry it happened and couldn't do anything about it. Seriously? Get it together. Edit: I responded to your private message last night so to reiterate, no I won't be coming back. I don't think sharing my experience was unnecessarily harsh if it was true, and also not my fault if your intern didn't tell you about something like that. Like I said before, good luck. read more

Extremely overpriced for what you get! My brother bought me the fall splendor bouquet when he came down to visit me a week ago and the flowers were limp the day he brought it over :( I decided to go online to check out the reviews and prices of this shop only to find that the small bouquet the size of your head was $100!! There's "tiers" on the website called standard, deluxe, or premium and they're each another $25-50 on top of the original already expensive price. All that's said for each tier is "additional flowers will be added" or "we'll add more blooms". Why the hell should I have to pay an extra $50 to get a good looking bouquet? Shouldn't that be the standard? This place is a RIP OFF read more

I use Rosaspina for all my floral needs and for the occasional last minute order (When I forget something important!). Lindsey is alway pleasant and very patient . She offers great suggestions, and her artistic flair shines through in the arrangements she makes. Extremely pricey considering what you get. I totally understand raising prices for certain products and services but these bouquets are not at all a quality worth of a raised price. The woman I spoke to gave me the price of $40 for a small bouquet so I came in after work so see them for myself and my god were they small and dull. I will definitely check out other local florists first before ever coming here. read more
