I did purchase Lafco body cream in chamomile and lavender awhile back. The shop follows Covid protocol. A sign on the front door requests masks for entry. Customer service is always friendly. Pink Bungalow was originally located on Valley Rd. They moved around the block to 219 Bellevue Ave. Upper Montclair a couple of years ago.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Leroy and he was able direct me to the most beautiful plants the store had to offer. He was very knowledgeable about gardening and the life spans of all of the flowers and plants. He encouraged me to make lovely pots at home. What a clever salesman. The prices were reasonable which also encouraged me to buy more. The cashier and office staff were also very cordial. This seems to be a well ran family business (I don't know, just guessing). I come here often for two reasons: customer service and fair prices. A great local business that proved to me a rose can grown from concrete.

We showed you an option but the particular quality of flowers that you wanted to incorporate within the arrangement did not work with the budget you presented us. We are committed to offering a certain style, certain image with our product and anything that leaves this store must look and adhere to that standard. Our product comes from all over the globe and we are committed to trying to offer these products at a reasonable market price. We wish we could have helped you. On a personal note, merchants in this town deal with a variety of challenges on a daily basis. Those of us that are still standing, have made it through a recession, Sandy, increase rent costs, increase health costs, increase taxes, payroll and sales, increase freight costs, competition from large retail chains just to name a few. We are an important element of this community. We give back to the community. We give to the schools, the shelters, the parks and so on. We are proud of what we do and proud to be a part of this GREAT community. Yelp, I thought was a venue for people to find different products that meet their needs within our community. While visiting relatives in Montclair, I stopped at J. Clores to pick up a flower arrangement to bring along on the visit. I could not have had a more pleasant experience! The owners of the store were welcoming and extremely helpful. The quality of the flowers was outstanding. What most impressed me was that the person who helped me took the time to listen and understand exactly what I was looking for. As a result, I left with the perfect arrangement. My relatives were delighted. I cannot comprehend one of the other reviews I read here, which said the owners were rude. I found the exact opposite. Everyone there was wonderful! Wow! I usually use Yelp to get recommendations for dining but after my recent experience with Clores, I had to take the time to pass it on. I usually tell my husband not to bother with Valentines Day flowers because the prices are jacked up and the flowers aren't great quality. He didn't listen to me this year and sent the most amazing arrangement for Valentine's Day. I just had to toss it today and it looked gorgeous until just a few days ago. The flowers were gorgeous and fragrant and so artistically arranged. I buy flowers often and usually just stop at the nearest florist. I was blown away and will now never shop anywhere else for my floral needs. We are new to the area and I am so happy to have found such a quality florist nearby. read more

I have been using Clores for years. Jane and her staff are easy to deal with, creative and always willing to go the extra mile. I bought small plants for two friends I was having lunch with before Mothers Day and they wrapped up the inexpensive plants so beautifully that my friends scolded me for being so extravagant! My husband has sent me cut flower arrangements that have looked fresh and and beautiful for two full weeks. I live in Bergen county and work in Montclair. I have been using Clores for over 5 years now. I can purchase flowers closer to home, but I can't the find the quality of product and service as I receive from Clores. The ladies who own this shop are always courteous ,and the staff as well. they always seem to be able to accommodate me, even late in the day in my rush home. Oh I wish I could post NO STARS. Yes, they may have beautiful flowers but beautiful flowers do not make up for being a jerk! I walked in hoping to purchase a bouquets for a friend and wasn't greeted or even acknowledged. When I approached someone who worked there she looked at me like I was crazy! I asked a few questions and she was rude, sharp and spoke to me like I was a stupid five year old. I left and went to andersons flowers, across town. Much better place! Rude owner. Under pays workers, curses off customers and employees…read more I never lied about my experience with you. You are simply rude and manipulative! I wasn't a reliable employee ? I literally came to work the next day when we had some of the worst rain and flooding we have seen in years and I still made it to work I didn't call out I came in. I did everything you asked of me and I asked you for more hours and you said no. There have been multiple times where I would stay at the shop to try and learn and just to help you out . I'm not unreliable I just can't stand Rude fake people. Calling me names and paying me 8 dollars an hour is beyond disgusting. I told you that was too low and you Promised me better pay once I got a little better at my job. Which I did! Maybe I wasn't the best at arrangements but you never took the time to teach me. You would just do an arrangement and tell me to now do it my self. You lied! You wanted cheap labor from a person who needed a job desperately. You lead me to believe I would be trained and would work my way to a pay raise. How many times did I ask you to give me a pay raise ? You raise all your prices yet you can't pay your employees ? All the driving I did for you . Literally just bought a car and my seats were ruined working with you . You didn't pay for gas at all And as far as me not showing up for shifts and being unreliable you literally told me not to come into work for three weeks straight. You literally left me hanging for weeks without pay while you were paying me eight dollars an hour . I would literally show up to the shop on time and even before hand for you just to text me to go home . Once I did come back you literally replaced me and then belittled me about it . You made your new employee take over everything and you always talk so highly about them and how quickly they caught on and how they're just going to take over everything when I've been there trying my best putting my all into this and being there for you even when you weren't at the shop. I would go there to help you And I didn't even get paid hourly for that. Not training me properly and belittling me for asking questions or making mistakes is insane. I don't know why you think threatening people to make them learn is a good idea it's not Especially when you knew I had little to no experience. You are the one who lied and took advantage of me. Maybe if you weren't a liar and manipulator this wouldn't have happened. You said you would train me and teach me. You never did!!! All you did was tell me you'll finish it all and to go home. You literally called me a retard because I was admiring and studying an arrangement. Maybe it never occurred to you that some people actually learn by studying things and looking at detail. To you I was just a retard. I don't see the big deal since no one was in the store and I did literally everything you asked me to do that day and more. I don't know where you get off thinking you could talk to people and treat them however you like, your fake façade doesn't fool everyone that's for sure. You lied to me when I could of said yes to a billion other employers yet I wasted my time on you. I was a bad employee?? You are a bad teacher and employer ! Don't say I'm a liar when you have the emotional capacity and empathy of a hormonal teenager grow up and learn respect.
