Ordered take out instead of dining in. Wanted to try the crab dip. I was highly disappointed when I opened the container that was supposed to be grilled sourdough bread but was actually burnt white toast. There was no communication about the change in bread and they even tried to cover up the burnt pieces by flipping them or putting normal slices of toast on top. As far as the crab dip, it was a 6/10. Unfortunately, I will not be going here again

Turkey BLT and fries

My friend and I went here on a Wednesday evening around 6 pm. It was very busy. Apparently there was some type of "seasonal tasting" menu available on the patio only. It was 100 degrees out, so we had no interest in that. While I was parking, my friend attempted to get us a table. The hostess said she had a high top available in the bar. My friend said that was fine. A few minutes later, I came inside and my friend was still waiting to be sat. Multiple customers came in after us and were seated immediately. My friend had to ask the hostess if she was going to seat us! She said yes and then proceeded to seat other people. Unreal. Then another guy came out and asked us if we were being helped and we told him what happened. Then the hostess showed back up, he said something to her, and then she finally took us to the table. Listen, I was a server for many years. I get the ins and outs of a restaurant. All you have to do is communicate with the customers. If she was waiting for the table to be cleaned off, or if there was some other reason for the delay, then just have the courtesy to tell us and not ignore us. Anyway... Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us relatively quickly. We ordered the blueberry cornbread, the turkey blt and the falafel wrap (we shared all 3). All the food was delivered in a timely manner, and the presentation was nice. Out of everything, the cornbread was the best. My friend loved all of the items, but I did not. Falafel wrap was ordinary. Nothing special at all. The fries were crisp and tasty. And ceasar salad was ok (we got a side salad in place of the fries for one of the meals). The BLT had so much potential, if it weren't for the bacon. Let's just say it didn't taste like bacon. I don't want to be too gross, but it honestly tasted the way that a barn or zoo smells. It had this dirty, nasty flavor to it that totally turned me off and made me lose my appetite. The cornbread was amazing, but everything else was lackluster. I posted some pics, so be sure to take a look. Oh, and before we were finished eating, some guy came and attempted to take our plates from us without asking if we were finished! It was weird. The place itself is cute, but very small and cramped. I felt a little claustrophobic in the bathroom. It was super easy to pay the bill, as they provide a QR code and take Apple Pay. Would I go back? Heck no.

The food here was so delicious! I really couldn't believe it - everything we had tasted great. I was a little skeptical of ordering the poke bowl, but it was the special that day and the server recommended it so I gave it a shot - it was awesome! My aunt got the fried rice and added the chicken - the rice had a really nice spice to it! We got the fries from as an appetizer and they were great as well! We sat outside along the train tracks and it was a great vibe with shade and music! Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the experience! All the workers were kind. We sat in the enclosed patio and it wasn't too cold even though outside was windy and rainy. I enjoyed looking out at the rainy train tracks. The food was also all tasty! Crab dip had a good crab flavor, not overly cream cheesy. The chicken was flavorful, asparagus cooked nicely and the gravy was like the very comforting type of gravy you used to have at grandmoms with the mashed potatoes. I'll definitely check it out again

I really enjoyed this hipster restaurant near the old railroad tracks. Note: It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights, so reservations are recommended. We had to wait in the bar which is small. Our cocktails were excellent and after we were seated. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Plenty of parking and I like the vibe of the place.

Sexy fries! Yes, they're as good as everyone says they are!

This is practically a five star rating. I plan on coming back to try some other items. Solid drink menu: Great tasty food: This was our first time here and the quality of food and bar concoctions is great. It seems like I am touring restaurants in old train stations but that wasn't planned. The Manhattan was really delicious. And the sexy fries use a homemade hollendaise sauce which has a nice lemony flavor. Get them! The gumbo with shrimp was quite flavorful with a good spice. One of the better ones I have had in my time. My wife got the chicken sandwich and it looked like half a chicken on it. She loved it. They had a smash burger special which I got to go for my daughter and she devoured it. The slight vinegar zinfg in the sauce and roasted peppers were a match made in heaven. Definitely a great place with a cool atmosphere. They were a bit busy and our server wasn't around much, but that's how things roll these days. Many other staff members checked in on us Going back soon!

Fish Tacos

4 star food with 2 star service. I came here for lunch when visiting a business in the area. The host was on the phone with someone trying to make a reservation and I had to wait 4 or 5 minutes. Not a big deal except he didn't even acknowledge that I was there. All it would have taken was a quick finger held up to let me know I'd have to wait but I didn't get that, including when he walked into the dining area to check on a table, then came back to the stand. I was happy with the ambiance sitting outside. This would be a good place rain or shine since the patio is covered and has heaters, but again, the service wasn't great. The food came out very slowly, I was here for more than an hour to get a drink, some hummus, and some tacos, and the waitress took a long time between visits back to my table. The food was pretty good. I had the Negroni, the Hummus, and the Fish Tacos. Everything I had was a positive experience, but the tacos were frustrating to eat. They put the fried fish on top of a giant pile of tomatoes, cabbage, etc. which helped keep it crisp, it as a result, it was very difficult to eat, every other bite being just vegetables or pushing the fish out of the tortilla. Tasty though.

Best restaurant ever. Especially when Nate Seagrist makes you a peanut butter mouse and have Brad Gavigan as a view.

Unique menu and delicious food. Will be a great asset to Souderton and I can't wait for them to start serving brunch.

We loved the big menu--everything sounded very good. We had the clams appetizer, a corned beef sandwich, and the Fire on the Mountain burger. The burger was spicy with great flavor and nice juiciness. The corned beef sandwich was also good and came on a pretzel bun. The clams were tasty and served with a white wine sauce. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back to try their prime rib and Mexican night. They also have a good selection of drinks and beer.

Great, I know it wasn't sitting on a counter for ten minutes somewhere completely forgotten, but if i'm ordering food i'd like to be able to put it into my body as soon as possible. I don't think i've ever had a single problem with any of the staff here, and i've been coming regularly for a few months now. Everybody is super chummy. If they're not chummy, they're cordial, good at making conversation, and keep the good vibes rolling. I've worked in (customer, not food) service myself, and learning how to get along with everyone is a skill that's hard-learned and harder to nail, and 90% of the time the staff nails it consistently. Servers at the bar are attentive, I usually end up with my drink consistently topped off. The aesthetics of the bar are comforting, which is great. Place is decently lit, inviting, warm orange lights that keep you feeling fuzzy and content. At least every wall I saw on the bar portion (not the restaurant portion) had a different sport going on, giving you a lot of variety in terms of what you're looking at. I'm not a sports guy, but i'm glad people who are get the variety. They have trivia night on Wednesdays I believe, and they usually have consistent weekly specials rolling around. Most of the locals aren't the rowdy type, at least as far as i've seen. Definitely not the kind of bar you get into a brawl at, which as far as i'm concerned earns it a confident spot in places I will absolutely be back to.

Being a Sunday evening it wasn't too crowded, and our Waitress "Jaeda" delivered excellent service, This Tavern had such a wide variety of pub food and Special Prime Rib entrees on the weekend. This was my choice for the evening, I ordered the Queen cut that was seasoned perfectly and extremely tender and tasty, To serve it that put a nice sear on the Prime Rib that made the taste soar on the flavor scale, This entree included Soup, Potato option and a vegetable, All cooked perfectly, My Grandchildren had the Chicken Finger platter, and The Burger platter from the kids menu, It was huge (Kids eat free on Sunday) their portions were large enough to satisfy any adult. the rest of the family enjoyed .50 cent wings during Game time when the Eagles are playing. We tried four different sauces and the wings were crispy, juicy and packed with flavor. We also had, Fish & Chips, Crispy and moist filets of COD, then we tried the calamari that was tender and flavorful, My Daughter had brought a birthday and Jaeda promptly offered to store it in the refrigerator until dinner was over. Then she brought out plates and cutlery for us to enjoy the birthday cake. They have outdoor dining and plenty of TV's to watch the game. overall it was a great dining experience with great food and excellent service. My complements to Jaeda and the staff for making this very memorable. We will definitely be returning to try more of their Pub Fare.

I saw the reviews for The Trapp Door on Yelp and we just had to stop. Having said that - had we not known we had a destination we would have completely driven past. On the outside it's a completely unassuming place that you would think only draws a local crowd as the town bar. Let me tell you.....first appearances are completely deceiving. The Trapp Door is just a magical secret. Ok so maybe it's not a secret to many but I will tell you why it's worth driving to. Philly people - you must come here! NJ people - you too! If you look up the definition of Gastropub - this is it. I've traveled all over the world and tried many who claim to be Gastropubs - this place is the true definition. The service is as friendly as you can get. They make you feel comfortable and as if you were a local and as if you have known them forever. We were 3 guests and as appetizers we had the bone marrow and the duck confit, then had the smoked trout and the Spanish chorizo. The duck, bone marrow and home made smoked trout ( and I'm not necessarily a fish fan) were absolutely amazing. Already dreaming about. Seriously -to write home about. The chorizo was good but average. Then we split a burger - medium rare - and let me tell you - if you are craving a burger - you will fall in love! Cooked exactly as we had requested. They also had homemade condiments. Phenomenal. One of us decided we should order desserts and many times after having such a great meal - I'm apprehensive of ruining it by ordering dessert since sometimes it's not a speciality and leaves you a bit disappointed. Yeah, no. You will just be even more in love. We had the pumpkin crème brûle ( Im over all the pumpkin and was apprehensive however it was spectacular and the pumpkin was true pumpkin - not forced). We also had the ginger apple cobbler - wow! Ginger is just right. The dough was perfectly light and fluffy and crispy. A hard trifecta to master. The beverages and beers do not disappoint and need little introduction. This places deserves a visit. Make your way there even if a bit out of the way. It's worth every single extra mile. You won't be disappointed. We will be back. Thank you to Abby (try the drink named after her. She's just as nice), Taylor, Sue and the chef - Nate Thatcher. Wow!!!! I may have set the bar too high ( no I haven't) so let me lower it - so I'll close with. Yeah go try it. It's ok. He he he he.
