AWESOME PLACE - GREAT VIBES, FOOD & DRINKS!…read more Absolutely loved this place! My best friend and I met to do a candle making session on Main St. in Lansdale. We were hungry for a bite after, saw that around Guys was a minute walk away, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon seating, they let us know that Quizzo was starting and we could join if we'd like. We figured we'd give it a go, and man was this guy a riot. He definitely hit all the various categories of questions, giving everyone a chance to hopefully know some of them. I really appreciate that! He also encouraged participants to make up an answer if they weren't sure, and he might just give you points for it if it makes him laugh. Our server Rachael (that's what my receipt says but I don't recall that being their name) was enthusiastic and funny. The wings we got were absolutely delicious, I tried a coffee rub thinking I might not like it and it knocked my socks off! I had a lemon drop martini at the great price point of $10. Can't wait to come back here!

Round House is a wonderful local spot with great drinks and service!…read more Service and ambiance are great, we especially love the outdoor patio seating, including the heaters and string lights. The dedicated parking lot is also a huge plus for busy weekend nights! So far I've only had the Pony Club cocktail, which was absolutely fantastic! Hubs has also enjoyed all of the beers he's tried to date. Food is good, but nothing special. The fries are super tasty and they actually make a mean grilled cheese (on the lunch menu). Nothing has been out of this world and there have been small inconsistencies with the menu, but it does the job and the drinks are what matter!

I've had the fried chicken sandwich which tasted fishy like they used the same batter as the fish and chips or used the same frier oil and it was just a weird taste and very greasy. I also got the brisket quesadilla which was too much cheese, not enough brisket and the brisket was dry. Had the H&P fries which is bacon and gorgonzola cheese with a Balsamic glaze and the cheese was just the wrong cheese. It's way too heavy flavor for it though there needs to be a vehicle for the bacon and Balsamic but maybe a Swiss would be better. Just way too heavy. The fries themselves are killer and I wanted it to be good but really hard to get through. Again. So close to being good but so far disappointed.

It was fun to sit outside for a bit until it got chilly, then we moved indoors and sat around the table there. Service is at the bar, as expected, and they have some pretty good brews of their own, with plenty of variety. It sometimes seems that craft brews almost exclusively emphasize IPAs, and that's not necessarily my favorite kind, so it was good to have other options on tap. I had their Kolsch and then a Coconut Stout, and both of them were pretty tasty. I'd be back to hang with friends again!

Ten7 is a great local brewery with consistently good beer. Definitely check out the milkshake…read morebeers, which seem to rotate pretty regularly and are usually worth trying. There's a good amount of seating, including two outdoor areas. The picnic-table section is fairly fixed, though, so if you're coming with a big group and hoping to move tables around to make your own setup, this probably isn't that kind of place. They also have servers who come around outside. I'm still never completely sure whether they prefer you to order at the bar or through the server, but if you're planning to keep everything on one check, ordering through the server seems like the easiest way to go. Inside, there are basically two rooms. One has the main bar and brewery equipment, while the room farther back has more of a comfortable living-room feel. If you have kids with you, I'd probably recommend that side. Food is usually available from food trucks, and most of the ones I've tried have been pretty good. Outside food is also allowed. If you're bringing kids, the pro move is to bring whatever they'll definitely eat. The food truck may have fries or something kid-friendly, but bringing your own takes away the gamble if the truck is busy, running slow, or out of something. Parking can be tight and on a steep hill. Check the nearby side streets or the SEPTA lot across the way. Just be careful crossing the street because there's a pretty blind turn nearby. There are plenty of TVs inside, so it's also a good spot to watch a game. One other big plus: Ten7 is right next to the train station. If taking the train happens to be convenient for you, that's probably the easiest way to get there. Limited hours but the times they are open are likely more happening.

Amongst many other interesting events, they have started hosting bingo twice a month. The night we went, there were cash prizes, but regardless of prize or winners, a great time was had by all! To sweeten the deal, the staff was so pleasant, and their wine is fantastic. I did a tasting flight and was able to try 5 different wines, and there wasn't a single one that I didn't like. Many of my choices were off of their "country wines" list, including the cherry, raspberry, and red pepper and garlic. Yes, you read that correctly, red pepper and garlic WINE! Delish! I bought a bottle to bring home as it would be divine to cook with or even just sip! I also tried their Traminette and Nutty Sailor. While very different from each other, both were great, but the Traminette was my choice out of the five to sip on through the second half of Bingo. I am looking forward to returning for the next bingo night and trying out some other events as well. Would be such a perfect little spot for a private event too!

We both had burgers and they were really good, maybe great for that type of burger. Rolls we're fresh and it was actually cooked how I asked, medium rare. My husband got his medium and mine was definitely a little more pink. Usually it doesn't matter what you ask for, you get medium well. Not here! Thank you for listening. The real hit though we're the fries! They done to perfection in clean oil! Most places like this, you can tell they haven't cleaned the fry-a-lator in a awhile. The service was amazing. Food came out so fast like they anticipated our order. The place was t crowded and they didn't mind that we sat and took our time. We didn't feel rushed at all but we're also very well looked after. The drink prices were very fair. A little cheaper than other boogie type bars, so that was great. And, they were actually strong drinks. Many bars do not really give you a double when you ask for them. My only complaint, as with most places, is that drinks with soda in them do not belong in pub glasses. The shape of the glass makes the soda go flat. However, I do realize that bars are not going to also carry a large pint size glass that is cylindrical. I try to get past this because the alternative is usually a very small, narrow glass that doesn't work well for a double shot and sofa. We'll be back to try the wings!
