Bingo time!
Anna Marie P.

B-I-N-G-O! I have been wanting to wander into Cardinal Hollow Winery for quite some time and finally made it. Amongst many other interesting events, they have started hosting bingo twice a month. The night we went, there were cash prizes, but regardless of prize or winners, a great time was had by all! To sweeten the deal, the staff was so pleasant, and their wine is fantastic. I did a tasting flight and was able to try 5 different wines, and there wasn't a single one that I didn't like. Many of my choices were off of their "country wines" list, including the cherry, raspberry, and red pepper and garlic. Yes, you read that correctly, red pepper and garlic WINE! Delish! I bought a bottle to bring home as it would be divine to cook with or even just sip! I also tried their Traminette and Nutty Sailor. While very different from each other, both were great, but the Traminette was my choice out of the five to sip on through the second half of Bingo. I am looking forward to returning for the next bingo night and trying out some other events as well. Would be such a perfect little spot for a private event too!

This is my first time visiting and doing the wine tasting.our group did wine tasting where you select 5 from a large choice of 25 types of assorted wines. The hostess was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The wines were unique and many flavored kinds some possibly for cooking. The Jalapeño was very spicy for example. I think this would be a good venue for small parties. They also have beer, snacks and cider.

Cheese, cracker, and meat board & wine tasting

Had a Groupon for a wine tasting and it did not disappoint! I went into it with low expectations based on other people's reviews and pictures... but was really impressed. The atmosphere of the tasting room is cute and well decorated-- great for large events! The aesthetics of the wine tasting itself is cute and we choose 10 wines to taste. Lots of options as well. At the end of our tasting we got a souvenir wine glass (with the Groupon) The server was attentive and quick-- many thanks to her! They offer other alcoholic drinks (mai tai, screwdriver, tropical mule, etc) on their menus and their cheeseboard with meat was delicious! We got the woodsmoked cheddar cheese and it was not heavy on the smoked part-- which we did not mind. Its also a local cheese! You can also bring outside food to enjoy. Be warned-- If you but their wine, their bottles are smaller than normal wines. Its a local business so support as much as you can!

The wine was okay but the food was an absolute joke. $17 for a "meat and cheese tray" that was literally ritz crackers AND CUT UP HOT DOGS. That isn't an exaggeration either. I understand it's COVID but they were also served on paper plates which is fine, but HOT DOGS. We felt like it was a backyard BBQ. FOR $17, Maybe if it were for like $5 or $10 would be more reasonable. If I had known that I wouldn't have wasted my money on that, we should have just gotten the $2 hotdog by itself . Servers are nice and their tastings are pretty cool because it's all 30 tastings of their wine.

Free wine glass with $30 tasting

My sisters and I went here for a wine tasting. We tasted each of the wines, which is normally $30, but with a groupon was get one free, so it was only $15 each! Definitely a great deal! Also, when you check in on Yelp you get 3 tastings for free. The service was awesome! Our bartender was super friendly and just a fun person in general. The owner also came out and talked to us for awhile. Overall it was a great local business feel, and really comfortable. They other a couple small food options, but also have a BYOF (bring your own food) policy, so you can drink their wine, and bring a pizza or something along. There are also games on the table, so just a great, relaxing atmosphere for the afternoon. I'll definitely be back again!

All the wine had a very acidic taste. Could not even finish the 1 ounce tasting glasses. Just not a fan

My friends and I came in for a wine tasting at 7pm and although they were closing Bob reopened just for us. It was such a great time, the selection is amazing and the at home feel was so perfect. That Mango wine is thee best!!!!!

The white wines are very acidic (like cough medicine). The reds were ok at best. The atmosphere of the place is nice though.

Thanks for trying the jalapeno. It goes great with brie cheese on a cracker as an appetizer. Enjoy

The chili was spot on and they even added a spoon to my order to grasp the spilled deliciousness. Two dogs and two beers made for an outstanding lunch! The dedicated parking lot is also a huge plus for busy weekend nights! So far I've only had the Pony Club cocktail, which was absolutely fantastic! Hubs has also enjoyed all of the beers he's tried to date. Food is good, but nothing special. The fries are super tasty and they actually make a mean grilled cheese (on the lunch menu). Nothing has been out of this world and there have been small inconsistencies with the menu, but it does the job and the drinks are what matter!

We were hungry for a bite after, saw that around Guys was a minute walk away, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon seating, they let us know that Quizzo was starting and we could join if we'd like. We figured we'd give it a go, and man was this guy a riot. He definitely hit all the various categories of questions, giving everyone a chance to hopefully know some of them. I really appreciate that! He also encouraged participants to make up an answer if they weren't sure, and he might just give you points for it if it makes him laugh. Our server Rachael (that's what my receipt says but I don't recall that being their name) was enthusiastic and funny. The wings we got were absolutely delicious, I tried a coffee rub thinking I might not like it and it knocked my socks off! I had a lemon drop martini at the great price point of $10. Can't wait to come back here!

I will answer the questions I had before going, as others probably have the same: Is it family friendly? Yes, there were plenty of kids and even a couple babies on site. Its spacious and open air so there is no crowded feel. On the night we went it wasn't overly loud. My kids are usually picky eaters but they devoured their kid's meals and said it was very good. How's the beer? Very good. Branch brews a decent selection of their own beers and ciders which aren't bad at all. Their Cowpath Roadie Stout is particularly good. They also have guest brews from other local breweries. Its self-pour. You get a card to scan at each tap pour whatever you like. This allows you to control portions for samples and try a wider variety The Food? Its pretty good. Their menu isn't as robust as others but it has some good options. The focus on flatbreads. They say their "Goat" is the best, and they are not wrong. Its very good Sports? They have several large TVs and had the Phillies playoffs on. The crowd was very into the game, making for a fun experience. Bathrooms are very clean, single use. Definitely check this place out and don't be afraid to bring kids or a group.

No cash is accepted, so you need to register with a credit card and your name to get a drink card which they link to your credit card. You then use the drink card to tap a strip on the wall above the tap you select for self service and then you pour. The screen above the tap will tell you how much you've spent and the cost of each pour. To order food you have to scan a QR code at your table and then enter the last 4 digits of your credit card so they can identify who you are. When you are done you drop the drink card into a box and you receive a text message with a link to your bill. I found it too complicated and didn't really love the beer selection. The food was not very good either. I guess it's a nice spot to bring a group and sit outside and their website states that outside food is allowed so that is another option.
