B-I-N-G-O! I have been wanting to wander into Cardinal Hollow Winery for quite some time and finally made it. Amongst many other interesting events, they have started hosting bingo twice a month. The night we went, there were cash prizes, but regardless of prize or winners, a great time was had by all! To sweeten the deal, the staff was so pleasant, and their wine is fantastic. I did a tasting flight and was able to try 5 different wines, and there wasn't a single one that I didn't like. Many of my choices were off of their "country wines" list, including the cherry, raspberry, and red pepper and garlic. Yes, you read that correctly, red pepper and garlic WINE! Delish! I bought a bottle to bring home as it would be divine to cook with or even just sip! I also tried their Traminette and Nutty Sailor. While very different from each other, both were great, but the Traminette was my choice out of the five to sip on through the second half of Bingo. I am looking forward to returning for the next bingo night and trying out some other events as well. Would be such a perfect little spot for a private event too! read more

We had such a wonderful time, the owner and staff were so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was so cute and intimate and we had a blast at our first wine tasting here. This place came well recommended on a couple of travel blogs but it looked sketchy from the parking lot. I was even more concerned to find I was the only customer. However, I was definitely not disappointed. Heather, the wine lady, was super friendly and we spent the whole time chatting. All the wines I tried were fabulous. I could easily have gone home with all 5 bottle but I restrained myself. My favorite was the Sweet Syrah. This was a case of looks are deceiving. read more

This is my first time visiting and doing the wine tasting.our group did wine tasting where you select 5 from a large choice of 25 types of assorted wines. The hostess was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The wines were unique and many flavored kinds some possibly for cooking. The Jalapeño was very spicy for example. Had a Groupon for a wine tasting and it did not disappoint! I went into it with low expectations based on other people's reviews and pictures... but was really impressed. The atmosphere of the tasting room is cute and well decorated-- great for large events! The aesthetics of the wine tasting itself is cute and we choose 10 wines to taste. Lots of options as well. At the end of our tasting we got a souvenir wine glass (with the Groupon) The server was attentive and quick-- many thanks to her! They offer other alcoholic drinks (mai tai, screwdriver, tropical mule, etc) on their menus and their cheeseboard with meat was delicious! We got the woodsmoked cheddar cheese and it was not heavy on the smoked part-- which we did not mind. Its also a local cheese! You can also bring outside food to enjoy. Be warned-- If you but their wine, their bottles are smaller than normal wines. Its a local business so support as much as you can! read more

The wine was okay but the food was an absolute joke. $17 for a "meat and cheese tray" that was literally ritz crackers AND CUT UP HOT DOGS. That isn't an exaggeration either. I understand it's COVID but they were also served on paper plates which is fine, but HOT DOGS. We felt like it was a backyard BBQ. FOR $17, Maybe if it were for like $5 or $10 would be more reasonable. If I had known that I wouldn't have wasted my money on that, we should have just gotten the $2 hotdog by itself . What a hidden gem this was! My family and I were in town for a bridal shower. Afterwards, my husband and I were looking for a place to grab some wine. The building is unassuming from the outside, but very cool and trendy on the inside. The owner was very friendly and came over to introduce himself. I always appreciate that. My husband and I tried a wine flight - they are only 10 dollars for five tastes. Our favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon. You can get beer, soda, cocktails, seltzer, or wines by the glass. They also offer wine slushies, and you can help yourself to water from the water cooler. The winery has an event space, and offers so many fun events like charcuterie classes, girl scout cookie and wine pairings, and drag shows. They have a rack of board games to keep the kiddos occupied while the adults are having a beverage. read more

My sisters and I went here for a wine tasting. We tasted each of the wines, which is normally $30, but with a groupon was get one free, so it was only $15 each! Definitely a great deal! Also, when you check in on Yelp you get 3 tastings for free. The service was awesome! Our bartender was super friendly and just a fun person in general. The owner also came out and talked to us for awhile. Overall it was a great local business feel, and really comfortable. They other a couple small food options, but also have a BYOF (bring your own food) policy, so you can drink their wine, and bring a pizza or something along. Wine was alright. Service was lax and good. Thought we were getting a $17 cheese and meat plate with our wine tasting. Turned out to be a cut up hot dog, ritz crackers, and a block of cheese. Definitely don't get the cheese and meat board. You're better off just buying a regular hot dog since that's the "meat" they use on their charcuterie board. Which also, came on a paper plate. My suggestion to management...buy cheese and pepperoni layouts they sell at grocery stores and just up charge those. Atleast then it looks like you're trying. read more

Could give more stars if I could!! My mom and bridesmaids held my bridal shower here in Feb 2022. Everything about it was absolutely perfect! The venue was so cozy and quaint-perfect location for a winter bridal shower! The staff was excellent...so attentive and friendly making sure everyone had what they needed throughout the event. As far as food and drinks....We had a mimosa bar for the shower- the sparkling wine was made from a wine of your choice right from the winery which was so cool!! We selected the Sauvignon blanc and it was delicious. The food was also delicious!! It was made in house and there were a lot of selections to choose from and everything tasted homemade. Overall the winery was so flexible and accommodating with creating the perfect event customized to what you want. This is the first time I have been to this winery and I was very pleased! They have tastings for 1 dollar each and there are about 30 different house wines you can taste! I went to the wineries with my sisters and we had a great time talking, tasting wine and eating crackers and cheese! I do not feel as if their wines are overpriced and they use all local ingredients which I love! I went on my birthday last year and it was a bizarre experience bc the main room was shut down to accommodate a party but they still wanted to offer tastings. So my husband and I went to some sketchy back room where they keep all their paperwork, and we went through a tasting where we felt obligated to say everything was delicious bc we were the only two people there and we're heavily monitored. I felt bad so we bought a bottle of Cabernet franc. That was 9 months ago. I opened it tonight and dear Lord the cork flew out of the bottle from the oxidation and the wine poured out frothy like beer. It tastes terrible. I'm really disappointed, especially because the bottle wasn't cheap. PA wines stink and this was no exception. read more

Stopped in on our way home from IKEA so you know we definitely needed a drink. We're big wine fans and even do a trip to the Fingerlakes wine regions every year so we always get excited to try a new winery we haven't visited yet. We walked in about 4pm on a Sunday and there were only 2 seats left at the bar and only one woman working. She was very nice but you could tell she was completely stressed. Full bar and people walking in to sit at the tables as well. Most were doing the full tasting of 30 wines so she was running around like crazy. I felt really bad for her. That being said, we were only able to try about 4 wines before we had to go due to how long it was taking. Didn't like even one of them. So between the severe understaffing and sub par wine, won't be back. read more

While I didn't love any of the wines that we tried (we had 8 samples) I really enjoyed the Jalapeno wine (I could see it being great for cooking) and the Gewürztraminer. I find that sometimes smaller wineries just have a lot of very sweet wines and this was not the case here -- they had a variety of wines from dry to sweet. So the two-star rating is not because of the wine -- to each his own. I admire what the guy is doing -- he offers a lot of variety for the size of the operation. My biggest gripe about the place (and the reason for the low rating) was the tasting situation. First, tasting is a dollar per sample. I think that for amount of wine you get, that price is a little steep. You get about a shot's worth (or less) in a little plastic shot "glass." I also think the fact that the wine is delivered in a plastic shot glass kind of ruins the experience. I would much prefer my wine poured into a glass -- even if it is still the same small tasting amount. It might be nice to offer a price for a flight of some sort -- even if it's preset grouping. And maybe you could have a flight of four with two "you pick" options afterward. For a flat fee of $5, maybe? I think if they reworked their tasting format it could really add to the experience there. read more

BF and I stopped in about 10 minutes from closing. It's small room and we were told that the wine making happened right there on site and that they were in process of opening a new location in West Point where they could host larger parties. I tried about 5 wines and like Allison B, mentioned in her review, tasting the wine in the plastic shot glasses was not ideal. It seemed kind of cheap. The only wine I liked and purchased was the Cranberry wine. I wanted to try the Watermelon wine, but they didn't have an open bottle. They have a lot of selection, but the wine didn't really strike my fancy. Some I could not even finish and that's rare for me. Very friendly people, mediocre wine. I know wine is pretty subjective, and I would certainly suggest stopping in for a quick tasting if you can. read more

I went with a small group for the wineries comedy night. There was three acts, some better then others, but all offered laughs and entertainment. There was a small dinner available from 7-8 and comedy was 8-10. For 20$ dollars it was a great night out! I would absolutely recommend their comedy night. The wine samples in plastic shot glasses were a mild turnoff, but not a big deal for me. I am not a regular wine drinker, that being said, I enjoyed what I had. The rhubarb was wine was sweet and yummy. I ended up getting a bottle of a dry red blend, can't recall the name but it was up to par. I wouldn't pay 20$ for a bottle of it in the wine and spirits store, but I absolutely would to support this local winery. I believe they offer other fun events too and I look forward to going back! read more

Also, the wine I bought was way too expensive and tastes watered down. Definitely wouldn't make a wine purchase you already pay enough for the tasting! The West Point location is so beautiful, very warm and inviting, and the employees have game nights, comedy shows and other fun happenings throughout the month. I like game night because it's kid friendly and it's a nice atmosphere for them. I like trying the different wines and I also bring a bottle or two home with me. I love supporting local places and small businesses. The girls who work there are super nice and it's always a good time. I feel like I'm home when I'm there. They also have a cute little store where you can buy t-shirts and gadgets. I'm glad they are a part of my little town! read more

Hated all their wine. So bitter, like they had ALL gone bad. My mother-in-law, with a more refined palette, also disliked them all. We could not even pick a wine we'd like to drink an entire glass of. $1 per wine for the tasting. Small plastic condiment cups. So tacky!!! WOW, what a great experience we had last Friday. Great wine and atmosphere. Impeccable service. Huge selection of unique Country Wines, and an absolute must is the agave. The agave slushy is so delicious, and dangerous because they go down so easy. I had 2 at the winery, and bought a bottle to take home. The owner is a truly outstanding person. He came out and talked to us and made several suggestions. He went out of his way make our meal such a pleasant experience.
