They discharged me from their services due to a mistake they made. I was kind, only questioned the bill but paid immediately. In their ban letter they claimed things that were not true. They did not tell me the cost upfront and when I questioned it management said that I should let them know how much money I have when I come in instead of them telling me what things cost before they do them. That felt offensive to me. Beware when dealing with management and always ask for detailed cost upfront. Ultimately, my advice is to go somewhere else. Unfortunately had a bad experience here which ended in them telling me to get another vet. Due to a mistake with a clerical error on their part (they entered both my email and phone number wrong) there was no confirmation of appointment. They finally decided to send me a letter, when I called to get it straightened out the manager told me it was my fault I didn't call & after paying them $300 I would have to pay another $200 to restart his Vaccines. She was rude, judgemental, and belittling. The point of my calling was to figure out the situation and make it right; but clearly, she was overly defensive because her office made the mistake. I am a manager myself and that is not how to handle a situation between paying customers/patients or clients. VERY unprofessional! read more

This is yet another reason to move to Windham! What a great group of friendly vets and techs. These folks don't pressure you into unnecessary tests, they really just want your animal friends to be happy and healthy. They are also less expensive (most likely due to location) then my previous veterinary clinic in Portland, Brackett St. When you have 4 pets, like I do, the additional money for a check up tends to add up. The interactions I've had with these vets are amazing. Most recently, my dog needed a tumor removed. On the day of the surgery they found an issue with the rhythm of her heart. They stopped, decided to wait and give her a round of antibiotics, and are doing a less invasive round of anesthesia as they move forward. I couldn't have been happier with the way these folks handled my pets and their care. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to drive to get to these folks. read more

My pup recently had interdigital infections and had to see a vet. This was our first time at North Windham and we couldn't have been more pleased. Doc Lauren Landry-Holden took very good care of not one but two surgeries and weeks of healing for my pup. Now he's good as new and my two cats have also become clients. This business is professional, kind staffed with amazing technicians and safe with the covid 19 pandemic measures. Very professional and friendly staff. We are new to the area and our cat was "rescued" from a farm in northern Maine where the ticks haven't quite made it to yet. Our cat loves to be outside and was getting eaten alive by the ticks. We also wanted to get a chip installed since she's a little too friendly with other humans and give her the necessary shots to keep our fur baby healthy. They welcomed us and was great to our cat. The facility was up-to-date and clean! The only place we will take our pets! read more

We just went in with our dog who appears to be having an allergic reaction (drooling, panting, vomit) and despite saying they offer emergency services on their website, they sent us away saying they had no one with time to see him. If this is how much they care about animals, I wouldn't recommend anyone take a pet there. read more

I am so happy to have found this vet office! I have a very elderly dog and the techs and the vets are always so sweet and gentle with her, really going out of their way to keep her comfortable. The vets are great about explaining options and helping you weigh cost vs benefit. In the past I have been to vet offices where I have felt fleeced, that unnecessary things were done or proscribed. At North Windham Veterinary Hospital, they have talked me into going with less expensive options because it will be better for my dog. I truly feel as though the health and well being of my dog is their top priority. 100% recommend! read more
