This review is long overdue so things may have changed. However, as I sit here in my partially uninsulated house, I can't help but recall the awful experience I had with this company. In brief, they outsourced the work to unqualified workers, failed at every step in the process and overlooked insulating portions of the house, which has resulted in temperature issues and increased energy costs for years. I reached out to Paul by text then we had a short conversation by phone I believe. He had me set up with his team Darian Reed, Charles Hall and Ethanio Lozano in no time flat. I believe we roofed like 3 days later. These folks never missed a beat. I was so impressed I wanted to see their office and meet Charles and Darian in person. The office was run just like production. The process was quick; we had a new roof 2.5 weeks after initially talking to Scott that first day. It would be funny how inept these folks are if it weren't for the fact I actually need a new roof. They come out, give us the contract to start the work and tell us they want to make sure we have time to read it and they'll be back 2 days later to sign all contracts. The general manager, Paul Reed(who I met with), tells me he'll be back to go through it all. The meeting time comes and goes and he doesn't call or show up, even though I had to leave work to make the meeting with him. An hour after the scheduled meeting time, I called his cell to see if he'd got caught up on another job , or traffic or what.... He claimed he was out of the office that day and that some other guy was supposed to be at my house. He was SHOCKED the other guy didn't show up. He asked if I could meet with him the next day to pick up the contracts and that I was "his top priority" and that he would personally be on my porch Friday at 430pm to get the contract and he would personally oversee all the work.... Much to my chagrin, he again NO CALLED, NO SHOWED. Two days in a row of taking off work early and he can't even call either time????? His word is his bond... And both are completely WORTHLESS. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Where do I start? First off, my roof FAILED inspection! That has been more than a month ago and still, no one, has come to finish the easy fix. Project has taken 2+ months for a small house and it still isn't completed! At the beginning, the materials were delivered to the wrong house and nobody believed me. I actually had to walk up and down the streets in my neighborhood to find the materials. Project start date. Oi. This was a fiasco. The date of the project for my house got changed multiple times. I had to take my dog to doggie daycare because of the work on the house but each day they said they'd come, they didn't show. Extra expenses in dog care. These were some of the main issues. Larry with North-West Roofing has been doing a great job handling the repair of my hail-damaged roof. I have had a couple other roofs replaced and North-West has been the best thus far. I was amazed by how clean my yard and driveway was once everything was finished. There are some other exterior jobs that they are still handling for me, but I am very happy with the roof and quality of service so far. UPDATE: 11/10/15 - I am changing my 5-star review to 2-stars based on the lack of customer service and lack of response to fixing some issues with my gutters. I am still happy with the roofing job, but their subcontractor for the gutters installed some flashing in an area that will end up causing an ice-dam and water to seep under the roof. I have been calling and texting my representative at NW for the past three months to resolve some issues with the way the gutters were installed on the backside of my house. At this point, I don't think the roof and gutters will pass inspection until the problem is fixed. read more

Love my new roof. They left a pamphlet at my door after a major hail storm. I'm a new home owner so I didn't even think about hail damage. Sure enough, I needed a new roof! Cliff was my contractor and he was very communicative through the whole process. The billing department was also friendly and took care of paperwork with my insurance. I'm on the fence about this one. I'm a solid 3, my husband is very impressed. So we're settling on 4. We called Northwest when our roof was demolished by last summer's hail. They came recommended to us by our contractor neighbor. The guy who came out to meet with us was kind of a shmoozer, but he got the job done. He explained the process like he'd done it a thousand times (which he probably has). The guys showed up a few days later, around 7 pm, with a truck full of shingles and other roofing materials. They knocked on the door and told me they were going to start tearing off the old roof the following day but were going to unload their stuff first. I said ok. Hmmm, friends, maybe a phone call would've been nice before 3 giant trucks just appeared in my driveway. Anywho, they tore the roof off in a day (or evening) and had a new one on within a day or two. Our new roof is gorgeous. The work seems solid and when we had a problem (read below), they had it corrected ASAP. But here are my critiques: 1) Communication needs some work. When we had a problem with a roof leak after this weekend's deluge, we called them several times and were told they'd call back. They never called back. I called at the end of the day ready to raise hell and was told they sent somebody out that morning to look at the roof. Um....if you'd called me to tell me that, then I wouldn't keep calling. The guy I spoke to was awesome, very helpful and friendly, so kudos to Travis! 2) Phone system is jacked. I got hung up on once, and their "hold" tone sounds a whole lot like a fax machine tone. 3) Not a critique so much, but your roof guys should maybe be reminded that some little white girls speak Spanish. ;-) They didn't say anything inappropriate, but they seemed very surprised when I started to laugh at a song they were singing. read more

Overall North West roofing did a great job with our roof. Our only issues with the installation were waiting on our permit and the time it took to get our materials. This was in the aftermath of a massive hail storm so it is to be expected. Our salesman Kyle is very knowledgeable and friendly. He worked with us on the final cost and was very patient while we made our decision. Installation took one day and the roofing crew did a fantastic job with cleanup. It has been about 4-5 days and I have only found two nails. read more

Funny enough, our neighbors' roof is still a mess that failed city inspection (1.5 months later), our garage roof that they broke has yet to be repaired, and our neighbor has texts that Joe sent to her during this project where he bragged about being on a yacht in Miami with football players...not in Denver, taking great care of our property. I would put 0 Stars if I could ! I called North West Roofing today to get someone out to assist with an Emergency repair, I had water pouring into the master bedroom and dining room of my home. Now bear in mind North West Roofing installed two roofs on two different homes for us over the years and I was happy with their service previously. I waited over an hour, no callback, I called again and was transferred to someone who told me they could not come out until Friday, WHAT?? this is an emergency, I have rain water flowing in my bedroom and dining room, I was then told they could send someone out with a tarp for a $400 charge, do I have a choice? I told them to come. Then I thought about it, if they're going to treat a repeat customer this way then they just lost my business! I got on Home advisor and I had a Roofer at my house in 45 minutes, I called North West and canceled their Emergency service. Find another company who has a sense of urgency, obviously North West Roofing is not interested in taking care of repeat customers. read more

After the huge hail storm in Denver, I called Northwest and Scott came out right away to check my roof. He sent me pictures of the damage and was very professional. I proceeded to have Northwest replace my roof and they were great. Scott went out of his way to find roofing shingles I'd been eyeing for a while even when they don't usually work with the product. This is a terrible company! We had our roof re-shingled a few years ago and we are already having issues, not due to weather, but poor workmanship! All the promises they made about clean-up were a sham and the crew was terrible. The crew left garbage and clothing that had to be picked up. I was split between 3 and 4 stars. We had NW do 4 houses for our family. They all went fairly well. *The roofing material installed seem of good quality *The installation of additional roofing vents left an absolute mess *All jobs but one had tarps down for debris but one we had to take a roller magnet to pick up all the nails before we let the dogs back out *On one job, when walking on the roof we could feel some of the plywood was sagging and old but they said it would be fine. I disagreed and went and got plywood for them to replace it, always replace soggy plywood Overall they did a solid job, some of the crews seemed slapped together but all the jobs got done. read more

After sending them referrals, I have not been treated so rotten as a customer ever by anyone else. Beware, other ratings on this page are of internal NW employees. First of all, understand that North West Roofing doesn't do any of it's own work. They are just middle-men who sell homeowners new roofs and then hire tbe cheapest sub-contractors to do the installations. This means that inconsistency will be the name of the game. My house got the short end of the North West crap shoot. The initial job was shoddy and needed repairs immediately for hundreds of nails sticking through the cieling of my front porch. This took months to be fixed and to this day looks terrible. Three days ago, an entire YEAR after they put on our new roof, the new roof failed it's THIRD city inspection and the saga continues. They've been paid of course so now have littlle incentive to make things right. Do youself a favor if you need a new roof, look elsewhere. read more

Well as much as I want to say something bad about a roofing company, this time I can't. They did very well from start to finish. As soon as the hailstorm hit, we had the roofers scaling our neighborhoods like lawyers after a car wreck. This was my first experience with a roofing company as I am a new homeowner so I didnt know what to look for. I turned to an old high school friend named Google and asked him what to look for in a roofer. He basically said "stability". I gathered all my quotes, and then googled the companies. I chose NW because they checked out okay and I liked the guy that came to our door, he seemed genuine and honest. Hail hit on a wednesday, and by the next weekend we had a new roof on. Our customer rep from NW was with us the whole way, sometimes a bit more than we cared for, but was helpful nonetheless. Communication is an area they need to work on, but we still got the job done. I guess I would reccomend them, not really because they were over the top awesome, but because they do the job, do it right, do it quick, and aren't a fly by night company that will rip you off and disappear with the wind. At the end of the day, insurance paid, new roof is on, and we don't have to put the kiddie pool in the living room during a rainstorm anymore. read more

My husband and I had a great experience with North-West Roofing, specifically Jeremy Soliday. Jeremy took the time to sit down with us, explain all the details and answer any questions we had. Jeremy also came back to the house (which he didn't have to do) when our insurance inspector came to assess the damage. Jeremy was in constant contact with us during the entire process. We were very pleased with the roofers and how they cleaned up after placing the new roof. Our new roof looks great. We couldn't have had a better overall experience and would recommend North-West Roofing and specifically Jeremy Soliday to take care of the entire process. North West Roofing replaced my roof last summer, plus we had to change out our skylights and get some interior work done in our kitchen. The roofers were super nice and the kitchen drywall work was done really quick. The people in the office were friendly when I called with a question, and the sales guy took care of everything g with our insurance company. The secretary he may have been off that day or had not gotten to the email yet. I was very happy with North West Roffing. My project manager, Matt Rawson was incredible from start to finish. Gave me a bid within a day or two of inspecting my roof, got a great team of hard workers two weeks later, always communicated with me to tell me what was going on, returned my texts and calls immediately, took any questions or concerns I had with the upmost respect, double and tripled checked that the clean up was impeccable. Matt even helped me pick out what shingles to put on my roof (black walnut! I love!). I think he has been the best and easiest person to work with on any project I've ever had on my house (and i have had quiet a few). The roofers were hard working, diligent, polite and considerate. I was very, very impressed with Northwest from start to finish. They came by the day after a terrible hailstorm and I let them look at the roof, and there was damage. I worked with Aaron Campbell who was impressively honest and professional. Every step of the way they were top notch. They bought a tarp and put it on my garage roof even before I hired them. There was no pressure from Aaron to close the sale and the company did a fantastic job on the roof. The foreman, Hector, was very careful and paid attention to every detail. They even went above and beyond by installing plywood on the garage roof that I purchased, and was not included in the insurance claim. It's the best roof our garage has ever had. We recommended them to our neighbor across the street, and after Aaron inspected their roof, he told them that he didn't think they had enough damage for a claim. When was the last time a roof salesman ever climbed down and told someone he didn't think they needed a new roof?... I highly recommend using North West Roofing. North West Roofing repaired my roof after the storm of 2009 which damaged so many homes in the south-east metro area. My roof look good, the workers were quick, clean, and non-intrusive. BUT they left a small piece of hardware on the roof, designed to aline two pieces of plywood. This widget punched a hole in the shingles and ultimately caused a lot of damage to ceilings in my house. It was difficult to find. North West did not return phone calls, and finally, when confronted and pressed in 2013 they insisted that there was no warrantee in force. To sum up, they made a critical error in installing the roof which caused about $1500 damage, and then they evaded all responsibility. read more

I did have a bit of an issue where shingles falling from the roof left asphalt on the paint on my walls, but they took care of that and made it right. Recently, after being told I needed a new roof by a storm chaser, Richard Shock (same project manager who handled my original roof) came out and inspected it.
