Rocking Italian subs!…read more Dominick's Deli well known for many items including the breaded chicken fingers. Rightfully so, the breaded fingers are definitely delicious! I do believe the chicken is brined to keep it moist and the hint of sweet is part of their secret. Every time I visit I have to get the Broadway, which is a cutlet with prosciutto and mozzarella. It also included as part of their GOAT combo which includes a small pint of chicken fingers. The GAGA with avocado is also quite awesome. The staff move fast and the ship is tight. Lunch time is pretty crowded unless you order ahead so plan accordingly!

I was like a little kid in a candy store wanting to buy homemade pastas, sauces pizza, cheese, meats, pre made dinners and salads. I would say on a weekly basis we get their deli meats and cheeses and they are always fresh and delicious. I also enjoy their fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe with grilled chicken and their to go salads. The folks who work in here are very patient and nice. They are also knowledgeable about their selection and can help you out with any questions you may have. I look forward to buying and trying additional meals next time I go in or order!

"Pepe's Deli" stood there looking at me, daring me to come in. Well I accepted the dare, because I was going in. But getting there wasn't going to be easy because parking in the area was terrible; I had to park a few blocks up, now back to the story. Inside it was packed. There was a soccer game going on and the people inside were invested. I looked around and liked the organization. In the back they had visible merchandise, but that's what you expect from smaller businesses. I walked over to the counter and two wonderful woman worked back there. They asked me what I wanted and quickly put my order together. I asked for extra tartar sauce and she had no objections getting some for me. I took my meal to go because I was in a hurry to meet up with some people. When I tried the fish I felt this was what good fish should taste like. It was flaky and the perfect texture. The tartar sauce seemed to be store made and complimented my meal. The potato salad also was store made. I enjoyed that as well. How could I have never seen this deli before! I can tell you this for sure, it might be my first sighting of this hidden gem, but it won't be my last visit.

It's a great combination of cold cuts that just synchronizes so well with the American cheese and oil, vinegar, spice concoction of the works. As for the hot sandwiches the eggplant parm has been my favorite. The eggplant is smooth and binds with the red sauce perfectly. Today they released a new contender for the best hot sandwich with a catchy name: The Rolling Roaster. It had roast beef soaked in Au jus enhanced with extra beef tallow blanketed with a layer of homemade cheese. The result was the juiciest roast beef with a deep beef flavor. The soft bread interior did a good job catching all of the excess juices as it was not as messy as I anticipated. Hope this stays on the regular menu as I will be adding it to my order rotation. My Hero is old school only accepting cash or checks. Along with that comes the great service and charm that makes this place what it is. The sandwich was the same size as always and was decently filled, though there seemed to me more ham and less roast beef or turkey than normal. The most glaring part was the taste overall - the cold cuts and cheese didn't quite taste the same, but most glaringly, the mayo did not taste like Admiration Heavy Mayo, which has always kind of what made their sandwiches really pop. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but the last time I was there, the chicken club also had some issues.
