Purchased this fridge for a rental so it was not used until (08/01/25) toward the end of the warranty. The freezer stopped working so they sent someone 08/03/25 to take a look at it and said it needed Freon. Anyone who knows anything about Freon, knows that if it's leaking this is something that is too expensive to fix permanently so it must be replaced. I contacted the store and the workers there said I was still within the regular warranty from the store (two days due to delivery), not even including the 5 day grace period. Owner refused to acknowledge that and attacked me personally saying that I didn't know what I was talking about, even though it was pretty clear and refused to service me... Please don't purchase from them. The fridge I bought from them was supposed to be working perfectly fine, but it was already leaking Freon. I do not trust them at all. Please don't purchase from them, however I bought another appliances from J&T Appliances - Hazel Park and they always take responsibility for all the appliances I buy for my rental properties.

We have been buying refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, etc at John R Appliance for our rental properties for many years now. They are used appliances but they are all cleaned up, tested, and repaired if necessary and John R warrants them for 90 days. They also can arrange for delivery and can take away any previous appliance that is being replaced. In our experience the things we have bought have worked well and, since tenants can be hard on appliances, we don't feel the need to get new ones when used seems to be a better value. They have lower end to premium brands and the prices are in line with what you select, but not all that different. The guys there may look a little rough but they do know what they're doing and deliver good value, and they don't bite...at least so far.
