Said he hasn't been able to get parts. Originally told me less than 2 weeks (which still seemed too long). But never called to update to say there was a delay. I had to walk in to get the story. I'm sure he does fine repair work but the communication and customer service is bad at best. I do NOT recommend.

The price WAS NOT clearly communicated to me or freely offered by owner. I work several jobs, one of which is $14.00 in a seafood department at a local grocery. Barkus charged me $256 for a 45 minute service call to change a blown fuse, and the owner added a cleaning. I'm glad I can work more than 19 hours at my second job to pay for your 45 minute service call to my house. After Barkus left my house, I wrote a FB post expressing my disappointment. The owner then drove BACK to my house to voice his displeasure. I'm a teacher, and was on a virtual meeting with students. When I opened my front door, my students could clearly hear the owner making accusations about myself (from his point of view of what had transpired, and not even entirely true) and what I posted. I had to ask him to calm down, went to my computer to mute the mic, told him I'd take into account his perspective, and he left. I did edit my FB post, but now two weeks later I am still very miffed by the entire experience. If the owner would like to speak regarding this post, please feel free to email me. Terry showed me that one plus another option for the same price and made some helpful suggestions that made the decision very easy. The whole transaction took 15 minutes. Their delivery fee was very reasonable which included removal of the old machine putting in the new one, hooking it up and running it to make sure it worked. There's a 6 month warranty, if anything should happen they will come and fix it and if it's not fixable, they will replace it. They set up a very convenient delivery time for us. They were on time with that as well. We appreciated their service so much, that we returned a week later to purchased a refrigerator!

I started calling almost three weeks ago that the temp was in the 60's and I was using the freezer section as a fridge. After multiple calls and messages, they didn't show up until four days ago and said compressor was bad and it wasn't worth fixing -- but they'd take care of me. And then, they didn't get back to me about the options. When I reached them two days ago they said they'd give me another one for ~$550. --Hmm. So, despite that the one I bought should have lasted more than a year -- that's the best they can do for me for a replacement? After making me wait for over two weeks for them to even look at it. And of course, they've promised to call me back 2 x's since this last conversation --and haven't. Turns out I had to pay $10,000 + to have the whole side of my house dug up because the sewer was faulty from the basement to the outside because of tree roots. Called and asked why he didn't check the basement sewer says it wasn't part of his job... I'm like the basement is part of the house!!!! Well your warranty ended 8 days ago so pretty much told me not my problem. I am still going to try to sue them for not doing their job properly.

Today we took my husband's 3-wheeler to Anchor Bay Bicycle and Fitness Center as we were having trouble adjusting the front brake. Pulled up to the shop and walked in and was greeted by a very friendly guy by the name of Rich. Explained our dilemma and just like that he offered to take a look at the bike. What took him approximately 10 minutes to fix the problem would've taken me much longer. I would like to preface this by saying he was engrossed in another repair, but so graciously dropped what he was doing to look, diagnose, and fix the problem and on top of that, refused to take payment for the fix.
