At first I was hesitant to stop in, as in general, my experience with specialty stores is that they tend to be full of specialty "experts" that either dismiss you as a novice or talk down to you. Well Greg was the opposite of what I was excepting, a very nice person in general and patiently helpful. The one thing every review here has in common so far, is that Greg is nice, knowledgable, and a joy to meet. If you are thinking about an e-bike, do yourself a favor and try this store, even if don't get a bike, you won't regret the visit.

I was so in love with it, that I asked them to build a closet system for me that I drew out. They took my design and made it come to life with beautiful precision. From there, they custom made a vanity for my guest bathroom, a live edge dining room table, live edge shelves for my master bathroom, and a long floating shelf for our bar area. They are not local for me (I'm in CT, they're in MI) but that doesn't stop me from going back time and time again. Each time, they have been quick to respond, helpful with suggestions and kept me abreast of the progress with my pieces. I have loved working with LWB and every time I have an opportunity to bring them back into my home and recommend them to friends, I do. What should have been a simple garage door job turned into a ridiculous number of problems, return visits, and time I had to take away from work. First, they tore down my weather stripping even though they were NOT supposed to touch it. While doing that, they scratched up the aluminum around my garage door. They then had to come back to replace the weather stripping and repair the aluminum they damaged. When they replaced the aluminum, they installed the WRONG COLOR, so I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment for them to come back and fix their mistake. Then the garage door started making noises, came off the track, and almost fell. Yet again, I had to arrange another service call to have them come out and fix it. As if all of that wasn't frustrating enough, they also completely NO-SHOWED for one of my scheduled appointments. I rearranged my schedule and made myself repeatedly available for appointments--all of which were only necessary because of their own mistakes. After all of these issues, I asked for a reasonable adjustment to my bill. Considering the damage they caused, incorrect repairs, repeated service calls, no-show, and the amount of my time that was wasted, I don't think that was an unreasonable request. Instead, I was extremely disappointed with their response and lack of accountability. One mistake is understandable. This wasn't one mistake. It was problem after problem after problem. When you hire and pay a professional company, you shouldn't have to repeatedly take time off work so they can come back and correct damage or mistakes from previous visits. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right and I was extremely kind and patient throughout it all. Unfortunately, based on the workmanship, inconvenience, and way my concerns were handled afterward, I cannot recommend this company.
