I rescued a dog that came with SEVERE separation anxiety, so I legit need to bring her with me everywhere I go, and I have to leave her in my car if I'm unable to take her in with me. Thanks to Soundwaves and hooking my car up with a remote starter and for my car, with a LINKR app, so I can start my car (& monitor), have the air on, and my doors locked.. Soundwaves = Professionalism, Honesty, and Actual Customer Service After a truly awful experience at Mickey Shorr's, I found Soundwaves in Clinton Township--and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a completely different world. I came in frustrated and exhausted (straight off a midnight shift), explaining that my recently installed Rockford Fosgate amp had completely failed after riding in a rainstorm--despite the system and bike being fully marine-grade. The Soundwaves team didn't hesitate. They had me pull in, listened to the whole situation, and got to work--no attitude, no "inspection fees," no nonsense. What they found was unacceptable: * The amp was missing a protective plate cover that clearly had never been installed (based on rusted screw holes). * Bare wires were exposed and tucked behind the amp. * The previous installer cut corners--and Soundwaves cleaned it up, on the spot, because that's just how they operate. They even explained everything in detail and gave me documentation to take back to the original installer (who still found a way to be unhelpful, shocker). Bottom line: Soundwaves turned a frustrating situation into a relief. They treated me like a person, not a problem. They were honest, skilled, and most of all--professional. If you're looking for audio experts who actually care about quality and customer experience, skip the chain stores and go straight to Soundwaves. My initial interaction with this company started out very well..... and then it got expensive and even more expensive due to damage during installation! I had a radio, subwoofer, and speakers installed in my bass boat last summer. I was told they would install the subwoofer in one area of the boat but later they decided to move the install inside a storage compartment of the boat, located at the bottom of the hull. After the install, I took the boat out for a quick trip only to find the damage done during the install that compromised the use of the boat due to water coming inside the crack the caused during the installation. After taking the boat up to the shop and talking to the actual worker that did the installation and seeing holes drilled in the floor, but moved to an opposite side of the compartment, no accountability for the damage was admitted. The tech/worker even said he initially was going to install on the side where the drill holes are noticeable but moved the subwoofer to the other side of the compartment when he saw the foundation (stringers) were actually located on the other side of the compartment. When I got quotes from boat repair companies that do gelcoat and hull damage work, they all confirmed that the damage was caused from inside the boat. Now I'm paying $2,500 to repair the damage out of pocket, just to be able to use the boat due to an audio installation service that was a desire instead of a necessity. If you do get any work done here, make sure you take many pictures and videos before and after, and examine all areas of your vehicle/pleasure crafts and do so while they're present to avoid the problem I'm now faced with! read more

They did an outstanding job on installing a new radio head unit on my older Jeep and added a back up camera. Inexpensive, timely and polite.

This place is a scam. I initially ordered a car/audio for my SUV and put down a $100 deposit. When I got home, I called and cancelled the order. The person I talked to said, "No problem, we have not even ordered your parts yet. The next day, I got a call from the salesman, Jim who stated all parts were in and needed a date for installation. I told him the order had been cancelled. He stated, he did not care, he placed the order anyways and I needed to have it installed. I said, NO again. he offered $150 discount or $50 restocking fee. I said No to both as it was cancelled before anything had been ordered. He still charged my card $100. Stay AWAY from this scam of a business!!! read more
