I think it's really cool, so I used the Yelp Projects tool to aid me in locating a professional auto glass company to replace my windshield. I received a few quotes with varying prices and couldn't decide, therefore I also did a Google search of reviews of the various places to help me make my decision of where to take my vehicle. GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing. read more

66% less than the exact same replacement I had to do last year. last year i used the big name place with the huge advertising budget and sing song jingle. 66% is a lot of money. GP Autoglass is professional, no nonsense, knowledgeable, communicative, and all around old school business. Great job, on schedule. I wish I had done my research last year., read more

Asking a windshield store for a basic new windshield quote. One would assume that is what they are here for. One would be wrong. It is like pulling teeth. read more

Very responsive and affordable compared to other places. Arrived on time and finished job quickly

Professional, on-time, great communication, and excellent work! I couldn't find anyone who had the windshield for my car and even all the big name places could not source one...guess what? GP Auto Glass found it! I have a 20 year old car with very low miles and am extremely particular about it. The work done was perfect and the car was treated with care and not rushed. Overall, great experience and a great company. If I need any other auto glass work done, there is no doubt I am going to call GP and not bother with anyone else. read more

Great service and price. Weeks later and thankfully no issues. Offer at home or drop off service.

My husband and I are in from out of town and have had a hard time finding anybody helpful. We requested a quote and had a response within minutes. They came to our hotel for repairs. Our driver-side window was busted out. He brought a new window and in no time had it replaced. He was courteous, listened to the us and did a great job. And it didn't break our budget either. Very thankful he showed up! Thank you again! I would also like to add he was very respectful. read more

I needed my windshield replaced. The entire experience was quick, easy, and they come to you! What more could you ask for.

I set up multiple appointments within a couple days but he never showed up. Every time I call him to see what happened he claimed that he got held up somewhere else or something other excuse. After being ghosted 3 times I ended up finding another place to repair my windshield chip and for a cheaper price. read more

Windshield was in need of replacement from a crack. Company was extremely responsive. They were able to get me in within the next few days. Even with a surprise, and a resulting rescheduling, the company was quick to respond and make sure they found a time that worked for us both. Came directly to my home and replaced the windshield while I worked. Very kind and professional! Will definitely be using them again in the future read more

We encountered a rock hitting the windshield of our car while traveling. Great Price Auto Glass was the only company that we could find in the Detroit area that was able to help us in a timely way. We had great service from Rami, who took me through the insurance process, found the right windshield and met us on a Sunday morning to do the work. I have a late model car with a good amount of electronics in the windshield. Rami was very meticulous in disassembling the wind shield with all the electronics and plastic parts. This was a quality job and he is well experienced to get it done right. Thanks very much - we're back on the road in good shape. Highly recommended! read more
