GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing.

OPEN to CLOSE Monday July 13th to have the tint re done and headlights put in. Finally get car back i was told it was "A1" when I asked if it's level ect. Since daylight out and I cant check the headlights. I was reassured. I come home mind you I live 45 minutes away night time comes I didnt leave their till they closed and the headlights point straight into the ground. Now I have to go back for a 3RD time to spend god knows how long to have original headlights put in. Now it will be me coming back twice for the tint and now twice for the headlights and gas ain't cheap. To say im unhappy is an understatement. Im coming first thing this morning. Glad I was offered a free car detail though that seems worth 4 45 minute trips. They chipped my paint i was there open to close 9AM TO 6PM AND STILL WASNT DONE. STAY AWAY! *********UPDATE********** Took wicked metallics to small claims court (see first picture attached) Judge ruled in my favor in the amount of 1,000 in damages,time,and gas. The most recent comment is the exact experience I went through. Told they would take care of it but when the owner got in front of a judge he changed his tune and said he tried to contact me multiple times. Text messages ect and was asked to produce them he did not because they would not have helped. I did not return a 4th time because they caused 1,000 in damage.

I had an appointment from 8am-12 on a Saturday. Couldn't get an earlier appointment. A good size…read morerock hit my windshield over a week ago on that cesspool of an unkept M-39. It went from a bullet size hole and cracked across the windshield within hours and further overnight. It's been over a week and it didn't crack more then 12 inches or so since. Rimon, the Safelite tech was at the condo by 10:30am, he seemed nice and arrived before his text messaged estimated time. He told us it would take about and hour. He showed us how much he would be collecting for the windshield replacement, it would be $353+ and showed me the bill before we parted to let him do his thing. He said he could call me when he's done. I said yes. He was done after 45 minutes or so. I got a text from Safelite as well as a call from the tech when he finished. He asked if I would be driving it soon or today at all. I said maybe later. He was happy to remove the setting tape for me. I said it was fine. He suggested letting it set for a couple of hours if possible. The tech was quick with running my credit card and a receipt was to be sent to my email. He was deft, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I like this easy and convenient process and will definitely do it again. Hoping it's a long while before I have to replace my windshield from road debris again though. The tech reminded me that there's a lifetime warranty on the windshield. Good to know. The non-OEM glass was made by Fuyao.
