It is climate-controlled (AC in summer; heat in winter), so that is very helpful for storing our stuff. The staff are friendly and helpful, and Barbie, the manager, explained clearly everything we needed to know. Our move-in (with a commercial moving van) went flawlessly, and since then, we've gone by at various hours to put additional stuff in the storage unit. There are always plenty of carts available for transporting our stuff. My only (small!) suggestion for them is to get a better loading ramp, with a smoother surface, to facilitate wheeled carts. I think they're on it already, though--when I talked to Barbie, she said they knew it was difficult and they planned to build a better ramp.

I was told on the phone by the Central Oregon division that yes I could have a unit delivered on March 11th. I did not hear anything further after that. I called again two more times requesting more information and confirming that a unit will be delivered on March 11th. I called on the day of expected delivery, March 11th asking when the unit will arrive and was told perhaps in the next few days. I reminded them that I was told March 11th was confirmed. The person on the phone at that time said no, they did not confirm a date for delivery at all because they never received a rental agreement. I was never informed that I needed a rental agreement to reserve. As a result, I had to search for another company to resolve the mistake made by Storage 2 U, they never admitted their error.

They wrapped everything that could possibly be damaged and took extra pains with the boxes with my dishware and breakables. When I unpacked, there was NO DAMAGE to anything. This is the first time (in over 15 moves) that I can say that. Although my move was just across the state (and they generally do much bigger moves than mine), they fit me into their schedule on less than two weeks notice which saved me. They charged a very fair price for their services and the final amount and the estimate given were virtually identical. The move occurred in a howling snow storm and the destination required some gnarly driving conditions, but Jason and his team actually showed up a little early on pickup and delivery. If you are in central Oregon and want to support a local business that takes real pride in service, call Jason.
