We have used this company twice, once locally and this past spring for a move from Oregon to Montana. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Jason is professional and went out of his way to help make our move with only a few days notice. He and his staff went above and beyond in keeping us informed with the move. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for an honest, reliable and safe move. Jamie read more

Jason and his team were phenomenal on my move last week. He and his staff were very professional, punctual and really worked hard. Jason's many years of experience really showed. They wrapped everything that could possibly be damaged and took extra pains with the boxes with my dishware and breakables. When I unpacked, there was NO DAMAGE to anything. This is the first time (in over 15 moves) that I can say that. Although my move was just across the state (and they generally do much bigger moves than mine), they fit me into their schedule on less than two weeks notice which saved me. They charged a very fair price for their services and the final amount and the estimate given were virtually identical. The move occurred in a howling snow storm and the destination required some gnarly driving conditions, but Jason and his team actually showed up a little early on pickup and delivery. If you are in central Oregon and want to support a local business that takes real pride in service, call Jason. He may take a little while to get back to you because he is on a job but you won't wait long and you will be in the very best of hands. read more

My husband and I moved from Oregon to Nebraska and we are so happy with how this company handled our move from start to finish! We decided to pack our own boxes and have American Moving load the truck in Oregon, drive the truck to Nebraska, and unload our stuff into our new home in Nebraska. Our mover, Chris, was awesome! Chris drove the truck, loaded/unloaded and supervised the other movers to ensure our stuff was placed where we asked. ALL our stuff made it without any damage! We highly recommend this company!! read more

The best cross country moving experience I've ever had!! Reliable, communicative, prompt, fair, dependable, timely, and careful. Jason and Brian are super easy to work with and are fully committed to complete customer satisfaction. I had my stuff days after the truck pulled away after loading!! My stuff was the only stuff on the truck and Brian kept me informed as he approached my new destination. Can't say enough about my experience with them. Don't use anyone else for a long distance move!!!! read more

We just moved to Grants Pass from Bend. As with all moves we were overwhelmed and stressed. Thankfully we contacted American Moving & Storage and our move couldn't have gone more smoothly. The price was fair. Bill and his team were fantastic. I'm still blown away with how fast they loaded and unloaded the truck. Everyone on the team was incredibly friendly and Bill had the best sense of humor which was much appreciated. Nothing got damaged and we couldn't have been happier with the service. read more

We are so thankful we found American Moving. My husband and I just moved from California to Bend. The entire experience was very smooth! Jason and his team are wonderful! Everything was packed quickly and efficiently and delivered to the new house without any issues. The cost was very reasonable compared to some of the large moving companies that we received quotes from. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided! read more

I highly recommend American Moving & Storage. Jason was great at communicating; his team arrived on time both for pick up and drop off. We moved our family of five from Oregon to California and everything went very smoothly. Not a single thing was broken or damaged. They packed everything very well. Very impressed overall. Thank you Jason and Team! read more

I really tried to get a quote from these movers but they were impossible to schedule with, just to get a quote. I called them multiple times and when I sent a follow up text about a tentative quote day/time, they ghosted me. It seems as though they have some staffing issues or are super busy. They lost my business. I had heard good things about them... read more

Had to make my moving decisions over the phone. Never met Jason in person until he delivered my home 500 miles to CA. He packed my 'stuff' and moved it as if it were his own. What a pleasure it was to work with him. Highly recommend Jason and his company. read more

I couldn't be happier with the gentlemen I engaged for a crosstown move in Bend. They were friendly, efficient and professional in filling up the truck far faster than I imagined possible and moving some extremely heavy furniture. We purchased a home in Redmond and needed a moving company to bring our household from Lebanon. After researching for high ratings online we settled on American Moving Company and they did not disappoint. They were very respectful and laid down moving blankets to protect the floors and wore masks while in our home. Jason, the owner was very flexible, personable, got things done quickly, and at a very good price. Highly recommend this company. read more

Great service with friendly movers. Would recommend to anyone. Fast, efficient and on time. I spoke with Jason and he quoted me a good price. Chris was the main mover and was super friendly and knew how to handle fragile/precious items and keepsakes. read more

American Moving & Storage moved us locally a week ago. They were fantastic! They moved some heavy stuff through some impossibly small spaces. Our destination was a brand new home build, and they took great care in keeping our floors and walls safe. They were kind, courteous, and kept us informed about timing throughout the move. I would HIGHLY recommend them, we've moved at least 10 times in the last 18 years and this is the best company we've found. read more

I realized at 9:10am on a Saturday that my original movers bailed, called American Moving and had Mike & Team helping move at 12:30. They dropped everything and pulled together a team to help us same day. Amazing response time and not typical for the area. Not only quick to respond, but excellent care in packing up and unloading the truck. We would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone moving around the Central Oregon area. read more

This guy was a lifesaver. Luckily for us he had the opening on the day we needed a mover. Lucky for us he showed up when he said he would, gave us a ton of important advice about the move and the storage unit which saved a lot of time and pain for everyone. He and his co-worker got everything done beautifully, and on time. Very professional and upbeat. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat and probably will because that stuff is going to have to leave the storage unit at some point! Hint: Because we packed meticulously it cut down the time they needed to move us, so do yourself a money saving favor and have boxes packed and closed before they get there! :) read more

Chris and his crew did a great job getting us moved out and in to our new home on a wet snowy day. Our new home had a lot of challenges with a steep driveway and stairs up to the home, and because of their great equipment and team they problem solved it and got everything in! With the wet weather they were very careful to use mats for shoes and hand trucks which was very much appreciated. The team was careful, professional, and fun. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. read more

If you want first class service across the board, be sure to work with American Moving and Storage! We were in a time crunch, trying to get our personal belongings out of our house in Sisters, Oregon and moved to our home base in Los Angeles, California before renters moved in. So we called Jason at American Moving, and he instantly took away all our worries and made our move easy, easy, easy. He packed up our things in Oregon for us with the utmost care, and treated all of our things as if they were his own! Our truck full of boxes and furniture arrived the following day, in the most timely manner, and perfectly packed. Jason communicated clearly every step of the way, and was such a pleasure to work with. If we ever need assistance with another move, anywhere, we will without a doubt, not hesitate to call Jason and his crew for the job, and you should too! Thank you so much American Moving and Storage! read more

It is great to have a smaller company move you. Their price compared very favorably with the big moving companies. Jason and his crew packed our belongings (contents of a 2,200 sq. ft. house and two garages), moved them into storage, and a month later brought them to our new home in Olympia, Washington. Not one single item was broken or lost. All the furniture, including our leather couch and several very nice wood cabinets was intact and unscratched. I let them pack my fine china because I was pretty sure they would do a better job than I could have, and I was right. I think Jason over-books and sometimes has to juggle clients like a magician, but I understand that the moving business is largely seasonal, and they have to work hard during the moving months. They left in the middle of moving our things from our house the day before closing, and I had to get madder than I like to in order to get them to come back and finish that day (they wanted to finish the next day, which would have required us staying another night in an empty house, sleeping on the floor). But they DID come back and finished that day, so all in all it worked out fine for us. I would not want to be in Jason's shoes dealing with many anxious and stressed-out people on short notice while also dealing with his customers who have fixed moving dates in place beforehand. He was always polite and did what he said he would in the end. Everyone on his crew was likewise courteous and professional. They accidentally left the contents of one of our kitchen cupboards, because no one (including me) checked to see that every cupboard was empty before they finished, but we were all in a rush to get out of the house that day, and I feel this was an unusual circumstance - everyone thought someone else had checked everything. Jason is going to pick up the items that were left behind and ship them to me, so again no harm done and a reasonable resolution was reached. I would use them again and recommend them to a good friend - can't say that about every service I use. read more

We just had American Moving move us 200+ miles from Bend. We called them 4 days before our move date and they responded quickly. The owner Jason & his employee Cameron were very personable, honest and very capable. Along with Jason's other 5 employees they moved our household with no damage to anything. I would highly recommend this moving company!! read more

Jason came to our home in Bend and offered an extremely competitive bid to move us to San Diego. Our furniture and household goods left Bend on August 29 and arrived in San Diego on August 31. Jason supervised his crew from start to finish while they carefully wrapped our priceless furniture in Bend. Absolutely nothing was broken or scratched thanks to Doug, Jason's driver and Assistant-Supervisor. In fact, when Doug rolled up the back door of the moving van upon arrival in San Diego, not one single item had moved even one inch in the thousand mile journey over many sometimes bumpy roads. Doug's helpers were very hard-working and continually asked my wife and me exactly where we wanted various items to go. They truly worked as a team to make sure that everything down to the smallest box ended up in the correct room. Do yourself and your family a favor: After you have had bids from the big name movers give American Moving & Storage a call and find out what competitive, professional and personable service is really like! read more
