I was up against a wall with regard to some moving that needed to be done. These guys were the last people on my list to call and I got lucky. They gave me their only available date and time in October and I made it happen. I did not have a ton of items to move but enough that I knew I couldn't lift them and unpack them at the new place. It was practically painless. (Other than the whole pain of moving in the first place). They helped me pack up my TV so it didn't get damaged and a lot of other little extras I appreciated. I left my hubby with a detailed schematic of how it should be laid out in the new place and they assisted with that. It was nice to get out of bed in one place and get into the same bed albeit 150 miles away. I would recommend these guys they are a small company owned by two brothers. They took me at my word and I mailed them a check for half and my hubby paid them the other half upon arrival at the destination. I would use them again. Although, I hope I don't need to anytime soon. Who loves moving (not me). read more

This company is very unprofessional. I shouldn't even give the one star. The guy named Scotty who is running it is an absolute flake. I scheduled the move so I thought for my mother in law almost 2 months ahead. He never followed up with me or confirmed the date nor did he contact me to put a deposit down. That should have been my first clue. He never called me back when I made multiple attempts to contact him, voicemail full, and if he did, he enjoyed giving me personal excuses one right after another which is very unprofessional. I ended up finding someone else at the very last minute because I was not willing to risk them not showing up!! Several red flags and flaky right from the start. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Please call American Moving Company, they were amazing! read more

This is the second moving company that stood us up. I agree with the previous comments about Scotty. Not only does not know how to talk on the phone but he strung us along for a week with no date. First he didn't know if they could find a packer. Then he said he would send an e-mail which he never did. Now their mailbox is full so they won't accept anymore calls. We found a company who appears professional & they have availability when we need it. We will be getting an estimate on Thurs. with a moving date to our liking. read more

I wouldn't even give them one star - it's the lowest rating it would let me give them! Terrible service! Booked my date nearly a month ahead. Called and followed up the week before. Get notified after when they should have already been at my house, the truck hasn't been picked up. "Scotty" states he's out of town and he will find out what is going on. Call back. Movers are stuck from a call earlier in the morning ( mind you I asked for 8 am, got told 9 was the earliest they could do, then get told the week before when I followed up that it needed to be 10) advised them at 12:15 ( after hours of still no contact on their end ) they were no longer needed. No response. His excuse was weather, but the truth is, NO COMMUNICATION on their end. No calls. No follow ups. Nothing. This whole experience could have been turned around by them at least reaching out to us before we called them. Or at least them keeping us updated throughout the morning. Still zero response since I reached out to cancel. Here it is three months later and I've still never heard a word from this company - even tho a response on someone else's negative review advised he'd be reaching out to me. Use CrossTown movers! We were referred to Central Oregon Moving by some friends who had used them and had a good experience, this was their first move in 20 plus years though. Scotty, who was the lead that we had was not the same person our friends had had. The good, they got the job done. The bad, the lead/"owner" stood around talking and bragging while the other worked. Not paying attention to what being done. The ugly, furniture was damage and when approached about it Scotty became very aggressive and defensive, yelling at me on the phone about how the damage was already there. I switched to emailing him and after several emails back and forth getting nothing but excuses I dropped it. We will not use this company again or refer them. read more

One star is being too generous for this company. Having a reservation for almost two weeks and moving from out of state with the family, this unprofessional man named Scott cancelled on me the day before. Complained to me about his personal problems about "being spread too thin", and just getting back from "visiting his family in Indiana". Poor Scott. In the mean time we were already packed and loaded with a truck that needed to be returned the following day. This company was more than unprofessional, it is a joke. After lots of searching, Scotty and Central Oregon Oregon Moving were recommended to me for my move from Central Oregon to Denver. I am naturally cautious and made them jump through a few hoops before agreeing to hire them. Although they were overbooked for the weekend, their crew showed up and and rocked out packing and loading in just a few hours. Further delays made it necessary for their crew to drive straight through (over 20 hours) but they delivered on time and kept me notified the whole time. I highly recommend these guys, they'll do what it takes to get 'er done. read more

I hesitate to even click on one star but there is no other choice. They only had to move a piano across Bend for us. The initial conversations were wonderful and the owner, Scotty, was very kind and responsive to us. But then when the actual move came, it was a HORRIBLE experience! There were only TWO guys for a baby grand piano. Extra people had to help on both ends of the move. Then they said it was bigger than they thought so when they arrived at the delivery address they said it would be an extra $100. They were given the exact dimensions of the piano before the move so there was no excuse for this! They then said they had all the necessary equipment for moving the piano and all we had to do is rent the Uhaul. As it turns out, they rented all this additional equipment from Uhaul that they were supposed to have, making it cost more than double what they estimated just for the truck. I would absolutely NOT recommend using Central Oregon Moving! They were deceptive and dishonest, blackmailing us for more $. Not good business practices at all! read more
