I felt like the building must have just been built, everything looked so new! All of the driveways are sloped into the middle to prevent as much as they can from water getting in the unit which was a huge plus for me as well as a coded entry (Huge safety plus!) Also not to mention the owners were beyond friendly and they actually live on the premises so they can always keep an eye out of the units which again A++ for me! They even lost the key to the storage. I contacted the owner on their behalf and she was incredibly helpful. She had the lock cut off the same day no charge and offered them a free months rent the same day the road was opened back up and we could access the unit. Gave us her personal address so we could get the new key faster. I would totally recommend this storage facility and really appreciate her help in a time of crisis. When we…read morewere filling out paperwork, they neglected to tell us about insurance that you can get, and we had to buy a lock from the Placer Self Storage. We couldn't get our own lock. The Storage itself seemed secure, with a gate and a key pad to get in. But that didn't stop someone from stealing our stuff inside our storage. Very important valuables were stolen, boxes were opened and the storage was left a mess... keep in mind when we arrived before we saw things stolen, the lock was still locked. All I'm saying, is that if this storage is your last resort, GET INSURANCE. Or else they WILL steal your stuff. Thanks for nothing Placer Self Storage. I know what you've done.

Jerry is SO caring and even comes by with water to make sure you are hydrated. Once, i suffered heat stroke there, shame on me for not properly caring for myself.
