Fisher and a 2nd company were about the same price and a third was almost twice. Based on their positive reviews, their promptness in getting back, and their quote, we went with Fisher. The entire process was flawless - as good as one could imagine. They came to make the measurement, determined the tint of the other windows to insure a match, and installed a replacement within ten days of taking the measurements. Rick and his co-worker were a pleasure to deal with, as was the office, that kept us aprised of the schedule. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had for a home repair/service company. They gave me a bid and committed to the job before seeing it- they actually refused to come out before hand. After the deposit was paid they came out, measured and said to expect an installation in about 3 days. Their communication is abysmal. After 5 days of not hearing from them I called and emailed. Crickets. They finally responded when I asked if they'd stolen our money. They replied that it was a difficult job and they were trying to get a mirror company to do the work. As it turns out they only install product, which they never mentioned. No one would cut the glass for them so they couldn't do the job they committed to. I tried to make another option work but that wasn't happening. They made 2 trips to the house for a job they couldn't perform and tried to take $350 in trip charges out of the deposit, which was never discussed. That's obviously egregious especially because it wasn't like we just changed our minds. They couldn't perform the work they agreed to perform and tried to charge us for their incompetence. It's a husband and wife team. She was rude and got aggressive when I told her no one was paying them $350 for their mistake. She said she had to talk to her husband because she was unfamiliar with the job but I had spoken with her in detail about it 3 days previously.... It was pretty nuts. I highly don't recommend them.

On a prior arranged date, Dave arrived on time, gave us estimate as how long the job will take. My boss is always hates the noise, so we left and after three hours the job was done to our satisfaction. Dave was courteous, and did a great job (thank you, Dave). One thing should be improved is the communications with the customers. First we have to wait for the quote (I had to ask Mike,where it's), then after sending deposit almost a week past, still we don't know status, again text to Mike, now we know the reason and when it will be done. Otherwise we recommend J & H, local small business, but please keep customers in the loop.

Very soon after, the proposal arrived and was reasonably priced. Agreement for services and down payment was also simple and reasonable via their agreement/payment website. Once ordered, the window hardware arrived at Glass Guru, and installation was easily scheduled. For the installation, Miguel arrived on time, and was extraordinarily polite and safety-conscious. He quickly installed the window hangar hardware-sets, fixed an additional issue with one window, and then silicone-sprayed other windows. I'm very pleased with these people; I won't hesitate to call on them again, and I recommend them with gusto for others needing glass and window service!

I was told the glass would be installed in about two weeks. After several weeks passed with no update, I followed up and was told they saw the deposit had been refunded and they would look into it. I was then told the job had been cancelled because we "needed new windows, not just new glass"--which is confusing, since they also install new windows. They claimed an email had been sent to either my contractor or me notifying us of the cancellation, but neither of us ever received anything. As a result, I waited weeks under the assumption the order was moving forward and am now starting over with a new company. This experience was a waste of time and very disappointing due to the lack of communication.
