Ok. No surprise here. Anthony did such a solid job on a bathroom that I i thought was a beyond repair. He is the real deal. He is honest hard working and such a nice guy. I have no reason to ever look anywhere else for this service. As a matter of fact I am referring him to a friend of mine. Here is the before and after. Nuff said!!! read more

GREAT Company.....Please consider North County Refinishing before you decide to replace you old counter tops with new ones. We definitely made the right decision of saving our old bathroom vanity by having it resurfaced vice replaced. Not only did it save us money $$$ on the remodel but it looks great as well. Both Anthony and Adriana where great to work with and were very fast to reply to any questions or concerns I may have had and I must truly commend them for being very flexible with working with my availability along with my tile contractors ever changing completion date. Amazing!!!! I called in the morning and sent an email with pictures of the patched hole in my shower wall. I received a message back within the hour. I was at work until the evening but they were willing to come to my house that evening when I got home. Adriana showed up and did a magnificent job! She was very accommodating as we put the kids to bed. I barely even knew she was working on the shower between the rooms! Thank you SO much for the amazing work and customer service!!!! Highly recommend! read more

You don't get service and quality like Tony's these days and I am completely impressed with the work!! We had to reschedule once and he is very much on top of the customer service. I never felt like I was left hanging and he was very prompt with his availability. Tony refinished and revitalized our old cast iron tub and even added texture to the base so we didn't have to worry about grimy bath mats anymore. I am so thrilled to check this off our home project list! Thanks so much! read more

North County Refinishing does it again with exceptional, quality, professional, and friendly work. It's been a few years since my master tub was refinished and die to normal usage, it was time to have Tony resurface the tub. Tony provided repeat customer service. He was able to repair my problem areas with a great price. Tony truly cares about his craftsmanship and it shows through his work. He was able to work around my schedule and was in constant communications with me via text. Arrived on time and finished the job as promised. Don't go anywhere else. I am a customer for life!! Thank you again for an awesome job on my tub. read more

This is the 2nd job that North County Refinishing has done for me and my wife in the past 3 yrs. The first job was redoing our guest bathroom sink and counter. Anthony (owner) laid out the process and it went exactly how he detailed it but it was much better than I expected. So 2+ plus yrs later 2, I give him & Adriana our Shower & tub to refinish with some vanity repair and again it came out better than expected. From consultation & price, to arrival time to finish time and clean up and the best part, to an outstanding looking shower & separate tub. Again better than expected. Btw, I rarely give 5 stars but this company, North Cnty. Refinishing w Anthony & Adriana deserve it. read more

I called with a bath/shower in need of a re-glaze, Tony was busy but responsive via text, he was able to schedule my appt.in 3within 3 days. Tony was a very honest and knowledgeable guy, he explained the process and answered all my questions. As he was working away, he would show me where he was at during different phases. While removing shower tub hardware, explained a problem I had with valve corrosion and provided recommendations, additionally he cleaned the drain for me. The bath/shower look brand new when done and he provided list of care instructions. I would highly recommend his services. . read more

While I did not actually have North County Refinishing actually do the job because of scheduling, I have to give a huge thumbs up for how fast they always responded to my questions and requests. If the timing had been better (if I had not procrastinated) I am sure Anthony would have done a great job. His professionalism and kindness are worth 5 stars to me, so that is why I have added this brief review. read more

Tony and Adriana refinished/fixed a crack in my shower for amazingly cheap!! They responded promptly to my email, scheduled with me the same week, arrived on time, and fixed it in a few hours. I am SO grateful to them!!! This was after I had three different plumbing companies over to my house who told me it wasn't fixable and I would have to get a brand new shower, and because my shower was attached to my bath, they would have to do a whole new bath too!! I was freaking out and one of the plumbers remembered Tony and found his card for me, THANK GOODNESS. Tony and Adriana saved the day, and they are my forever heroes!! I will definitely contract them again when we refinish our kitchen or bathrooms, and I highly recommend them for any refinishing services you require! read more

I've finally decided to join Yelp, all because I want the world to know how much I appreciate the time and quality work Tony put into refinishing my tub and shower. It is rare to find someone so reliable, honest, and professional who you can trust to let in your home these days. I was lucky to find Tony (thanks to the many great Yelp reviewers!). When I first contacted him, he promptly responded through email, and never left me hanging. He was good about wearing shoe covers when he arrived to keep my home clean and brought all sorts of coverings to make sure all my carpet wouldn't get dirty in the process. The shower and tub took about 3 days work due to the drying process. Tony never once complained about having to come back to make sure the job was done right. He also stuck to his word and did not keep raising the price on me, even when we found out the projects were much more involved than we thought. He is an honest and hard worker and I'd recommend him anytime! read more

Perfect!! Tony did my fiberglass shower. It was the original one from the 70's, old and dingy. He refinished with a clean bright white. It literally looked like a new enclosure. It's been almost 2 years since he did it and its still perfect. I'm using him again for the other bathroom. The price difference between remodeling or having Tony refinish was a no brainer. What I didn't expect was how good the quality of work would be. This is a first class operation with excellent customer service. Highly recommend!! read more

My husband and I recently bought a house and the previous owners painted the salmon colored bathtub white. The paint was chipping and peeling so badly. We researched a few bathroom refinishing companies online and Tony was the quickest to respond, he could do the job the soonest and was a great price. Tony was so great to work with. He worked fast and the results of the finished tub are PERFECTION! We are amazed at how good it looks! read more

Tony is a ROCK STAR! For months I contemplated replacing my bathtub/shower surround and happened to find North County Refinishing on Yelp and thought that if my surround could look as good as the pictures and reviews claim, there is no reason to replace it. I couldn't imagine that bringing my surround back to life was possible, it was dated and cracked and the prior owner appeared to have attempted some DIY fixes that looked hideous....but from the very start Tony was completely confident that he could do it. When he was done it looked so much better than I ever imagined! Everything had to dry for a couple days then Tony came back and reexamined everything did a couple touch ups and put all the trim back on. Tony is very professional, friendly and a perfectionist. I have already recommended him to a couple of people. Thank you Tony! read more

I would be remiss if I did not begin this review by describing Tony the owner/operator of North County Refinishing as a perfectionist, artist and highly skilled restorer of bathtubs and showers. It was back in 2015 that I first selected his company to redo our showers. Both me and my wife were duly impressed back in 2015 with Tony's commitment to excellence in the process of transforming our showers from old looking into like new looking shower. With the benefit of six years experience and advanced materials, Tony set out to not only meet our expectations but exceed them. This time around (like last time) Tony arrived on time, worked meticulously and did not leave until he felt his work exceeded his own lofty standards and expectations. Because I was a past client, he somehow found a way to squeeze me into his busy schedule. This is notable because I have heard that those who work in this industry cannot breathe because so many home owners are using this pandemic period to fix, repair and pursue home improvement projects. I am blessed that one of the best shower restoration companies found a way to come, see and conquer my aging shower. As such, I am compelled to not only write this review but give North County Refinishing a 5-star review. read more

Tony is a small business owner, provides the utmost in quality work and is a joy to work with. He takes pride in his work and completes the job as if it were in his own home. My 1949 cast iron tub had sulfuric acid damage so Tony needed to rebuild the bottom - It looks amazing and even though the job was more encompassing then first thought, Tony worked around his schedule and always communicated on timing for completion. Anthony and Adriana did a great job refinishing our master shower! We decided to save some money and have it refinished instead of replaced, and after they were done, we were glad we went that route. They worked very hard to make sure it was done right the first time and they couldn't have been more polite and professional. I will definitely be using them when it's time to do our other shower. Thank you!! read more

I just had Tony out for a 2nd bath/shower refinishing! I had Tony do our guest bath a few weeks ago and was extremely impressed on his quality of work and attention to detail. His work ethic and finished product are above reproach! We recently bought our property and getting the bath/showers refinished was just one of the projects on our checklist. Initially, we were only going to refinish one shower, but after seeing the job Tony performed and how well it looked, we decided our second shower needed the same treatment. Needless to say, the quality of his work and finished product are OUTSTANDING!!! If you're reading this review because your thinking of having your tubs/showers refinished, then you've found the person to do the job! You will not be disappointed with Tony and the quality of his work. Just be warned, after you see your first tub/shower you'll want him back for your other tubs, too! I highly recommend Tony and will continue to do so, based on being one of his clients! Great job Tony! Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for making our bathrooms look new, again! read more

I had Tony come out and refinish both a tub with enclosure and a shower just over a year ago. I was uber satisfied with the results, but wanted to see how everything held up. Here I am- about 14 months later, and everything still looks clean, shiny and like it's brand new! This is WELL worth doing for the money! No need to spend the money to remove, reinstall and buy new bathtubs or showers. No one would know that you didn't buy brand new - they look just like they are! It's no wonder that this business gets a 5 star rating! He deserves it! He shows up, fixes up, then cleans up! Not to mention- he's pretty darned easy on the eyes! read more

Using Tony is a NO brainer! I so far have had three showers units done. They all turn out better than new since two of the shower units were a harvest gold or ugly yellow. He repaired a crack in one of the units and the first two looks so great I had him do another property. He is clean fast and done all the billing on his cell phone. Wonderful work. Wow, amazing!!!! Tony was sooooo nice and sooooo professional! His workmanship is outstanding. Before Tony came in, our tub/shower combo looked ugly, had chips in the bottom and had old sliding doors. Now it looks beautiful, almost like it was brand new!! Tony did a fantastic job! What I particularly liked was the incredible attention he gave to the preparation. He was definitely detail oriented and the results really show. One thing is sure: if I get another condo and find a tub or shower (or sink) that does not look great, I know I will be one phone call away from making it look fantastic!! Thanks Tony for the great work, attitude, and result! read more

The North County Refinishing crew, Tony and Adriana, refinished my bathroom sink and vanity. It had previously been covered with what looked like paint, which was wearing off. Tony had to strip all the old finishing off, which took awhile. I paid $75 additional for the removal of the old material. Then he applied the new epoxy finish. He was very careful with his work, and the result is beautiful! I was initially concerned about the odor of the epoxy product. They told me that there would be some odor during the process of applying the epoxy finish, but it would wear off quickly. That was true. During the process, Tony vented the fumes out the back window. I did have to leave for awhile because the fumes were getting to me. After a couple of days, the odor was tolerable. Now, after a week, the odor is not noticeable. I'm delighted with the new finish on my vanity and sink. I got a light color, which turned out to be almost white, with little specks of beige and gray. The process took several hours, since they had to strip the old finish, apply the new epoxy finish, and then several coats of sealant. They were careful to cover everything in the bathroom and cleaned up thoroughly. I'm very impressed with their work! read more
