Don't overlook their septic system services like I almost did! These guys are great, fair, and reasonably priced. I almost overlooked them when I was looking for someone to give me help and advice on my septic tank and system. However I read their reviews and decided to call (my wife called to ask questions). Brothers Dan and John did a great job...John answered all her questions and advised us NOT to dig up our lids until they had a chance to visit and check things out. Dan came out, surveyed and analyzed our issues...slow drainage and blockage from time to time. He accurately diagnosed the problem and laid out a solution that was going to save us $ and time. He and John came out the next day w Nick, they tackled the problem efficiently and correctly at a very reasonable price! We had our septic tank cleaned by another company that pump & cleans septic tanks, and also has a sister company that repairs the septic tank and associated leach and tight lines. The rub with the companies that do those services separately, is it's really is a conflict of interest..meaning they can up-charge you for the repairs unless your savvy enough to know what they really should be doing..or not doing. Hence I called N.C. Backhoe (Dan & John). Dan arrived the day I called, gave us the estimate, showed the next day with his two man crew, and had it done in 6 hours. Explained the process, and got it done professionally and quick. They charged 50%+ less and it was done that day...not 3-4 days. Don't call anyone else! The Donaldson brother team of North County Backhoe are the best! After scheduling with another Septic company to inspect/clean a septic for the sale of a home, the Septic company showed up NOT prepared to locate the tank nor to dig! This other Septic company was aware after 10 appt conversations exactly what I needed for them to perform. They totally wasted my time. Since time was of essence, I got online and found John & Dan Donaldson of North County Backhoe Service. They saved the day and the closing of a home for my client. They assured me prompt service even though it was raining! They located and dug for the lids to the septic and delivered what they promised. If you are searching for a company that offers an honest quote, then I highly recommend you call them before you make any decisions. In my case, I was selling my home in Escondido and needed to get my septic certified. Unfortunately it failed the water test so I set out the task of calling septic companies in the area. Without naming the other companies and their various scare tactics, I was quoted anywhere from $8,000 to having a company quote me a new septic system for $30,000. I contacted Dan Donaldson from North County Backhoe service and he was very friendly and was very straight forward what he was going to do and quoted a rate that was very reasonable. He was able to start immediately due to our time pressure and was able to fix the issue in one day. Amazing customer Service! I was in a pinch, my house was in Escrow and when we went to pump the Septic I was told that I probably needed a whole new tank. I called a few other companies that quoted me crazy high prices then North County Backhoe saved the day! They were able to repair the system instead of replacing it the very next day and only a quarter of the cost. Dan and John kept me posted step by step on the process. They deserve 5 Stars for sure!!
