We walked in and there was a gentleman behind the counter. He was very helpful and answered our questions. We ended up getting a variety of cheese and fudge. He made recommendations and even advised the best way to serve a couple of the specialty cheeses we purchased. He even went out of his way to bag some fresh cheese curds for us because they had run out and they had just been delivered right before we arrived. It was noon and a few other people had the same idea. The several staff members we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. I got the sandwich and my wife got the Hot Chicken Tortilla soup. Both were very good. The bread was a thicker Texas toast and nicely grilled. The cheese curds had been melted, but you could still make out the curd shapes. There was a small amount of BBQ sauce that gave it a bit of a tangy flavor. I would have liked a bit more of that. Next time, I would like to get there earlier to check out the actual curd and cheese making process.
