This is a really neat little coffee shop. They have lots of loose leaf teas and various coffee blends to choose from. My wife had the Snoman latte (almond,white chocolate and vanilla) and she loved it. They have little pastries like scones that are made fresh. I enjoyed the blueberry scone with lemon-lavender icing. It's a really neat spot to just sit and enjoy some java and relaxation. It's a small building that was not visible from the Main Street so don't miss it. It's worth it! read more

Badger Brew is great! Proprietor Heather is as adorable as everything else in the place. The coffee is 1st rate, the atmosphere is 1st rate, the other guests all strike me as being as happy as I am about the place, and the music she plays could not be better. I just recently moved to Rice Lake from California; I'm a serious lover of coffee houses, and Badger Brew is as fine an example as you will ever find, anywhere. Went in to the coffeehouse for the first time today, eventually spoke to a young women who was rude and condescending. We, my wife and I, explained that we had not been in before and that we were looking for a place to bring guests who would come to visit us at the lake. She had no remark. My wife said we like to check out new places. She asked if we were from Rice Lake, my wife replied no. The young woman had no comment. I then asked what the area above was and she walked away saying something inaudible. I asked what she said , then she turned around and said "sitting, just sitting".Then she basically walked away, we left. read more

I've been a customer since it was a coffee kiosk and was so sad when Heather closed the location across from MarketPlace. I'm so happy she decided to reopen in a new location after moving back to Rice Lake! Once again, quality coffee and interesting products are available!
