Came here on a whim after eating, before headed to MN. The coffee is great and the employees were very courteous. Wasn't sure what to get, but was suggested to try the monthly drink. Something with toffee and caramel, and while it sounded sweet, it's not. Very subtle. The young lady helping me said if I didn't like it I could get something else, but I am really enjoying the drink. The ambiance is really cozy and the decorations are very tasteful.

The atmosphere of this place is so cozy and homey. I loved it! The staff was all very friendly. This seems like a nice place for locals. I could see myself cozying up by the fireplace. My white chocolate mocha was just how I like it- sweet and creamy... yuuum I also ordered a BLT. It was good, but not worth $8.00 for the size of it. It was t bad though- came with chips and a pickle.

Great coffee and nice venue for relaxing while enjoying a cup of Joe. Nice staff, too!

They roast their coffee in house. That's huge when it comes to taste and quality.

Wow. Taste was incredible, the coffee was being roasted as we took our order. The coffee we were drinking was freshly brewed a few hours before it was out of this world good. They go the extra mile to make the difference in your cup of coffee or homemade sand which. We will be coming back again and again!!!! From Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Great coffee and breakfast. We come here every time we are in town. Super cute interior and love that they also have a drive thru.

Fantastic coffee, best in rice lake but always seems like a 20 min + wait. If you have the time stop in!

Service is so slow!! After 32 minute wait in the drive-thru went to Caribou down the street and had drink in less than 5minutes!

However I do wish they would not use Amy's gluten-free because that's made in a week free factory and I've noticed they're gluten-free selection is gone down. I'm sure if I searched more I could probably find some more gluten free items but I really liked it when they had the gluten free but still it's an amazing store too bad I live far from waiting on from it but when I get to Rice lake I try and make it I think it's probably the last real grocery store left in the whole surrounding area. I dislike them making a big deal if I want to package up my own groceries. When raw meat is placed with my fruit, yeah no, you need more training. I do like the self service area when I can do it myself, but most of the time I use cash and have to be forced to repacking my groceries when I get to the car. The best reason to go there is the Caribou Coffee shop. They are the best. Far better in taste compared to the Starbucks one, oh and the service is down to earth and friendly. I'll stop there regardless if I need any groceries or not whenever I'm in Rice Lake.

Also love the train theme decor and pictures because it's in a remodeled train depo. Over all: 9/10. Delicious cinnamon rolls and kind staff, not to mention a super cute and cozy environment.

I opted for the side of broccoli salad and it was phenomenal. The caramel latte was delicious as well and served with a lovely art design on top. Sweatshirts, pottery mugs, handmade cards, soaps, perfumes and more are available for purchase. Board games, stencils and puzzles are located near the bathrooms if you have little ones or are wanting to be in your child like element. Don't forget to sign the guest book near the register! I enjoyed my time on the exterior front porch as was in awe of all the patrons walking in and out. Looking forward to my next visit so I can try more of the pastries as the cinnamon rolls were calling my name. Bonus: There is a train that still runs near the back of the building so you will really be on theme if you get to see it go by. Enjoy!

They serve like 3 variations of country fried steak. I chose the benny variety, my husband the sandwich. Both were good. Something I've definitely enjoyed in Vegas restaurants too. The pancakes are huge, but nothing special. I found the whole menu decent, but not notable by any means. The waitress and staff were very kind, as usual for the midwest. I was too embarrassed to ask for new silverware since mine were dirty. Lackluster diner with midwestern hospitality and average breakfast. I give it 4 stars since it probably is the best in the area.
