Whenever I come home I come here for coffee and maybe a bite to eat. Staff is friendly and quick. They also have a drive thru. They have season drinks made up I believe by staff and of course all the coffee house classics.

My wife and I have really enjoyed Hope and Anchor CoffeeHouse! The coffee is amazing and the service is outstanding. They are so kind to all of their guests and make sure that everyone leaves with a memorable experience. The food can not be compared to anywhere in Chetek. Stop in and take a break from the cold by warming yourselves with a cup of great tasting coffee. You won't regret it!

So many great coffees and goodies!

Son and I stopped for drinks, but decided to eat lunch. We both had salads and they were delicious.

The drive thru is super convenient, but the real experience is relaxing inside or in the outside patio while live music plays.

Visited for dinner 3x this year and the new owners seem to have focused on the food being better. Gone twice for Friday night fish fry and the quality of the fish has been a pleasant surprise. I distinctly remember last year coming in later in the evening for a fish fry and getting a baked potato that was a dried out relic. Ordered one this year and it was fresh and hot. Little things like that make a big difference. Fish seems to be hand breaded and they also offered a broiled option which comes with delicious garlic butter to dip it in. You can get soup and salad bar and the soup is always good although the salad bar can be a bit picked over if you come in later like we tend to... My dad has ordered the drunken captain chicken twice and raves about it. Even the picky eaters in our family are content going there. We had the same waitress on a couple trips and she is so friendly and attentive you never have an empty drink. I would say my only complaint is the old fashioned. They are so small you take a couple sips and it's empty. Bigger Glasses! Overall it seems like they are intent on moving this place in the right direction. It used to be the top spot in town and hopefully it is again! Lots of things to do...pool tables, video games, and they always seem to have music, trivia, karaoke or something going on. We haven't hung out in the tiki bar yet this year I'll leave that for the next review...

She always talked about it and would eat here any time she was back in the area. I hoped to visit with her someday. She was supposed to go in July 2025 with some family, but was sick and not able to make the trip from her home in KC. Unfortunately she recently passed away, and our family gathered in Wisconsin for her memorial service. Pine Ridge was so gracious and accommodating and opened early for about 30 of us to visit and have grandma's favorite fried fish experience after we had her service. It was unbelievably good, and I now know why grandma loved coming to Pine Ridge all those years. Nothing better than being with family enjoying amazing food. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the restaurant was beautiful, and none of us left hungry. Until next time!

Were told there were no bread sticks for the escargot. It came covered in cheddar cheese instead of gorgonzola. Weird. Then we waited an hour and 45 minutes for our entrees. Also just have to say every time we have been there recently the same bartender has been very unfriendly. Can't crack a smile, stern, seems unhappy. Will try again, but really hope it is better next time.

The only thing odd was that the clam chowder was spicy - - I had my husband taste it in case my taste buds were tricking me, but he thought maybe they put tabasco in it?? The chicken alfredo is something we would not order again. The queen cut of prime rib was much larger than we anticipated and it was well-seasoned and tender. It's also really nice that they serve prime rib nightly, instead of other places that only offer it on Saturday nights. Our waitress was good through us getting our food and then disappeared; it took forever for us to get our bill and a to-go box so we could hit the road and move on with our night.

Our waitress (who ended up being the owner) sat us and we told her we'd like some water. After waiting another twenty minutes the rest of our party arrived and sat down. After waiting about ten minute we all went to the bar to see if we could coast get water. I saw our waitress and asked the bartender to direct her to our table. She came shortly after and took our order. We all ordered and another person in our party asked for water. My boyfriend then asked for extra tarter and lemon which never came with his food, my friend never got her water. We wouldn't have gotten drinks if we would t have gone to the bar ourselves to get them. Our food arrives and my prime was completely rare I sent it back and when it returned it looked microwaved and was 1000% well done. Zero pink in it all all. While my friends ate their food I ate my salad bar and auggies waiting for our waitress (who is the owner!!!!) but she was nowhere to be found. She finally came back and my firmed asked for her bill and I told her to please take my prime off of the bill because I hadn't taken a single bite of my microwaved overdone food. She said okay and walked away. After waiting another ten minutes my friends went yo the bar to look for a to go box for his food at the bar instead of waiting even longer for her. When she finally came back she refused to take the prime off, I offered to pay for the salad bar and potatoes I ate. She still refused and told us she was the owner and we didn't know what we were talking about and that we should just stay home insisted of coming back. GLADLY. If I could give zero stars I would.
