A group of twelve of us biked in for lunch. We enjoyed the patio for a nice lunch. I split the fish fillets and sweet potato waffle fries. The fillets were very large and very tasty. This diner also serves some very good ice cream. After a slip up with our order, they gave us an appetizer of fried mushrooms and a free round of drinks. My favorite sandwich here is the Patty Melt. I've ordered it several times and it's so good. The meat is juicy and the homemade sauce is wonderful. The cheese curds are huge and some of the best I've ever had. The inside is charming and they offer coffee and ice cream. The story behind the name is touching. Yum! This place is the cutest little restaurant. I had to check it out because of its name. Even though Dillon is spelled wrong, I had to support a restaurant by my name lol. It did not disappoint. I was in town for a quick camping trip and was craving something low key. This met what I was seeking. A cute small restaurant with inside and outside patio seating. Great service. This place is definitely a greasy spoon and not in a good way. The server(s) were really nice but food eh. I ordered a BLT with hand cut fries. Bacon is greasy, this I know but when you order the bacon cooked to where the fat is crispy it cuts down the grease. Not in this case. The fries were not hand cut as stated on the menu (disappointing) so that description should be removed. A Rueben sandwich was ordered and the cheese was half way melted.Pieces of the meat were mixed in with the sauerkraut, it was mostly kraut and very little pieces of meat. Also, extremely greasy. 1/2 lb hamburger was pretty good. Onion rings were good, cheese curds were not your typical curd. The coating was more like panko. Don't think we'll be going there anytime soon. Nice people, not so nice food. read more

We visited this place when we were passing through town and it was a sweet treat. The owner was a delight to talk to and was very kind. We ordered a slice of pecan pie, which was still warm out of the oven and made with her family's maple syrup! The pie was topped with some amazing maple crunch ice cream, which was a great combo. What a hidden gem! My friend and I had an awesome lunch at Dylan's today! Great menu with lots of choices, salads with GREENS (rare), flatbread pizzas, I tasted the bacon avocado, gruyere cheese and honey, (yum), we both had a glass of wine and homemade ice cream, also on the menu, burgers, wraps, etc. very nice waitress, outdoor seating too! A yummy diner/dairy. I ordered a bacon burger that tasted fresh and was clearly made to order with quality ingredients. The sweet potato fries were excellent: just crispy enough and served piping hot. My only complaint was that the burger was served with no sauce, ketchup, mayo, etc--and so was a bit dry. I would suggest adding some kind of sauce to give it to add a flavor accent and balance the drier ingredients. read more

Charming mishmash of different chairs at a variety of types of tables, Americana decorations, and a hardworking woman who balances our need for ice cream after a long day of hiking with others who were ordering dinner. It's the kind of place where the toilet is also the broom closet, and well worth stopping in for a lick, sip, bite, or gift to take home. It also has a small outdoor patio on nicer days. The four of us from Alabama in Cornell looking for our ancestors and someone told us about this place. Can't remember who but I am glad they did. Everyone seem pleased with their meal. I was in town briefly and it was recommended that I stop at Dylan's Dairy. It was a cozy spot. Ordered the avocado bacon cheeseburger but they ran out of avocado. No biggie. Then I ordered the patty melt with extra crispy onion rings. Menu indicated burgers are medium well unless you ask I believe. Waitress was this very young girl. First, onion rings are not extra crispy. When I got the bill, it shows her handwriting and she did not write it. Second, burger was medium when I bit into it and throughout. That's too pink for me. Third the meat is thick but the bread is clearly too big. There was at least 2" of extra bread. So the last few bites is just bread. The cheese or cheese sauce was good. I didn't eat onion rings. I took them home to cook longer. I asked girl for three things and she either doesn't hear well or is overwhelmed. No biggie, she'll learn. She's young. Portions are big, I took most of my food home. I'll give it another shot if I'm in the area. Could have been better. I'll have to try desserts next time. read more

My husband and I were staying in the nearby park, camping and rode our bikes into town to have lunch to celebrate his birthday. We stumbled on this very charming place and were very impressed. We each ordered a slice of pie; amazingly fresh pecan for me and apply for my husband. They were huge slices and so delicious! I ordered the hand dipped cheese curds and I literally saw the chef take fresh cheese curds from the refrigerator case. They were the best cheese cured I have had in my life, and as I live in Milwaukee, I have had many. The story of the place is also beautiful. The waitress was such a lovely person, I wanted to hug her (I am not a hugger)! This place is a MUST-VISIT! read more
