Excellent food. Small place. You have to try the homemade strawberry jam!! My favorite is the Eggs Bennie.

Food is amazing, 10/10. The review from Clete is idiotic, the pricing is reasonable and you aren't forced to eat the orange slice...

Food was ok. Nothing great. Food in my opinion was overpriced. Orange slice came even on my biscuits and gravy.

None of the wait staff or kitchen staff were wearing masks (except for one guy, shout out to him). Really disappointing to see.

Excellent home cooked food. Also excellent service. Very down-home atmosphere. We stop in everytime we are in town.

Cedar Lodge - Ribeye, medium rare. Mac & cheese.

Cedar Lodge was pretty busy upon our arrival, but we managed to find a table right away (it's seat…read moreyourself). The menu had so many tempting options on it. We started off with the chili beer cheese totchos, which came out pretty quickly. They were very flavorful and everyone enjoyed them. It took a long time for our entrees to come out. It eventually got awkward as the dining room we were in nearly emptied completely, except for one other table that ordered right after us. I had the ribeye, medium rare, with garlic parmesan fries and mac & cheese. The ribeye needed more seasoning and some areas that were seared/charred literally hurt my teeth to chew. My mom ordered the honey bourbon chicken & shrimp and she was sooooo happy with it that she talked about it for two days. My husband had the chicken marsala pasta with crispy chicken and he felt it had been sitting in the window for a while as it was barely warm. Now, we finished eating, got to-go boxes, paid, and as we were leaving the guys next to us that ordered right after us still didn't have their entrees, so there were definitely some issues with the kitchen that night. I guess maybe I'd go for lunch next time and hope it's different during the day.

She always talked about it and would eat here any time she was back in the area. I hoped to visit with her someday. She was supposed to go in July 2025 with some family, but was sick and not able to make the trip from her home in KC. Unfortunately she recently passed away, and our family gathered in Wisconsin for her memorial service. Pine Ridge was so gracious and accommodating and opened early for about 30 of us to visit and have grandma's favorite fried fish experience after we had her service. It was unbelievably good, and I now know why grandma loved coming to Pine Ridge all those years. Nothing better than being with family enjoying amazing food. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the restaurant was beautiful, and none of us left hungry. Until next time!

We started and finished our meal with fry bread, which was absolutely delicious. I appreciated that the fish fry was family style, and included broiled and fried fish AND fried chicken. All was absolutely delicious. The place itself is amazing. From the lake views, to the outdoor bar, it's a true up north gem. If you're in the area and don't visit, you're missing out. Tip - Arriving at 4pm guarantees you just enough time to enjoy an Old Fashioned before your table is ready. Get there 30 minutes later and you'll likely be waiting. Thanks, Pine Ridge for a wonderful experience!!
